Small tip before you continue with the walking big guy quest, sell the food in your storage. I kept a bunch and they all went rotten when I went to the Unmoored x'D
I had already defeated the worm boss first, then started the "Out of the Forest, Into the Forge" quest since the quest giver was right there. Saved all the other cities, but by saving Batahl you automatically discontinue the "Out of the Forest, Into the Forge" quest - since the dwarf "evacuates" with everyone else. Went to talk to the elf leader, and the arbor quest was locked/glitched to the point where the arbor quest could not be completed. Do NOT save Batahl first while having the "Out of the Forest, Into the Forge" quest open. This WILL discontinue the Out of the forest quest, which means you cannot heal the tree - and the elf leader will stubbornly condemn all the elves to death.
To save everyone time, you don’t have to climb to the dragon’s heart to get the true ending, just walk up to it’s back and listen for the two heartbeats becoming one and use the sword.
I've almost done none of the quests. Less than 20. I've just wandered the map and killed monsters. Even found Medusa and killed her (the wrong way) wasn't able to cut her head off. I would say to kill the dragon first as you get a bonus 100 wlc the first time you kill him each playthrough and then go into the unmoored world while the credits are rolling.
In the elven village, i had to speak to the elf leader until his dialogue repeated, i slept and it changed and i convinced him(i didnt heal the world tree or whatever) you can still evacuate them if you fail the quest
Interesting Fact. If you are slower on the Talos fight he will advance further and lose an Arm. If this happens your pawn will only be able to kill the Worm-Drake before shattering as Talos
A tip for people who haven’t finished normal world if you can, put a port crystal in the sacred arbor, bakbattahl, unnamed settlement and the volcanic camp, and where dragon forged IN NORMAL WORLD because in the unmoored world the port crystals stays so you can fast travel and make everything even faster.
If you haven’t helped the elves pre-apocalypse; To get the leader to evacuate you need to talk to him, if no change rest at the Inn. Repeat until he agrees.
Reddit has threads where people are posting loot and enemy locations. Be sure to reactivate Talos, and do every red pillar except the one at the Sunken shrine, as that one ends the game. Evacuating, taking on pillars, and killing drakes and lesser dragons is what gets you wyrmslife for armor and weapons. I should also add that if Talos lost either or both of his arms during your fight with him on the coast, he may not be able to clear the red beacons. I don't know how it plays out.
You can save time by giving all your heavy unused gear/mats to a hired pawn then dismissing them. Hire a new one and repeat. Kill and revive your main pawn at a rift stone to full heal him/her.
Killing your pawn leaves them with permanent marks on their body. When I first started my pawn died 2 or 3 times and now there's cuts on her faces, legs and waist.
make sure you evacuate bakbattahl before you activate the beacon, otherwise a ton of NPCs die. evacuating each city also transports all that city's vendors/smiths to the seafloor shrine
I didn't know there was a time limit on my first playthrough and I ended up losing access to big chunks of the map because I'd been resting and just strolling around everywhere without a care in the world. Then I realised I was meant to quickly run around and save all the different settlements and cities but by then it was too late so I only got to kill 2 of the bosses. Sigh
after 10 days you can no longer rest at all, meaning none of the dragons respawn so the endgame wyrm crystal grind is over and have to go into NG+ being so heavily incentivized into NG+ i was hoping there would be more changes, (sadly no hard mode yet) so far only differences i see are shops now sell all the stronger loot from the getgo, but mainly the dragon forged shop has new things to spend your wyrm crystals on, like choosing a specific class and skill to 'permanently upgrade' with how much the game talks about cycles i hope there's alot more NG+ exclusive stuff i'm unaware of
So far one thing I noticed was different, and it's very minor, is that pawns who approach you now talk to you as if they knew you left the world and came back.
I did the dragonforged upgrade to the skullsplitter skill and you can just spam it. Everything dies before you run out of stamina from spamming it. Thief is op. Speaking of which, remember in dd1 the assassin had an invincibility skill and it got nerfed? Waiting for the thief nerf.
If you die there is an option to return to last save 2 days after entering the unmoored world. Still it's a bummer that you will lose all your progress after that.
sleeping at an inn doesn't work here... if you die (and dont quit before it says your dead) you have to start from the beginning regardless as it talks about how the world is doomed giving you an option to restart with the second option being "give up"
The unmoored world was probably the best part, im almost level 60 myself. (84.3 hours) My only gripe now after doing alot of the unmoored is starting NG+ and the difficulty did not change in the slightest. Im one shotting goblins with a fluted bow. Big mobs die in less then 2 mins atm. There was alot of things i missed or messed up during the first playthrough that i figured NG+ would be perfect to redo everything with the dragonforged gear, maybe a challenge? hah i was so wrong. Its a cake walk, the scale doesnt happen or something messed up. Even the random pawns walking throughout the world are wrecking mobs by themselves. While im still enjoying the game immensely, the Ng+ difficulty definietly needs reworking. im almost 60 and feel like a god right now. most of my vocations are maxed, all my pawns vocations are maxed and he also has dragonforged gear, so not sure if i just did something wrong or the game simply does not scale well at all.
look up "custom difficulty tweaks" on nexus mods if your on pc. has some default settings that change damage you do to enemys and damage to you and your pawns, changed my game for the better
Kinda sounds like you did it to yourself though. If you over-grind, of course content is gonna be easy peasy. @@grantschlenger842Nothing you said made any sense. Even by exploring just 80% of the map before finishing the game you overlevel so hard that you basically oneshot everything. My thief would pretty much kill Mino, Ogre and cyclops in less than 10 seconds halfway through the game by doing some spins. Got nothing to do with "grinding level". If I turned the talos to stone, is it going to be USABLE for my pawn? Oh god lol
@@ronellscott2338 wait can you medusa it? :D
@@ronellscott2338you can use the Medusa head on the talos giant. I believe you get an achievement, but just like using the medusa head on other enemies, you will not get loot from it.

I reallly wish Capcom would remove the timer in the endgame. The endgame is so much more fun than the main game because of the harder difficulty and the presence of "gore"-variant monsters which are damn near nowhere to be found in pre-apocalypse.
So far it's felt easier then pretty unmored gameplay. I finally feel somewhat powerful
Even if you do all the red beacons you can't stop the timer?? I really think that is so lame man
@@atkshow2111 The timer does stop once you cleared all the beacons but one. Just make sure to not do the last beacon at seafloor shrine since it will roll the credits
@@ryuu-vialex-6018 can you sleep in the inn to reset the monsters after clearing all the beacons then?

In the unmoored lands, you will actually have two saves, assuming you have Inn saved at some point. Day 1 of unmoored world and if you have inn saved at some point, you will also have, Start on Day *(Being whatever day you inn saved) Of unmoored world. But Inn saving will cost you 1 day of time and you can only sleep until morning. Good luck, fellow Arisen!
5:46 Defeating the wyrm boss has no bearing on convincing him to leave sacred arbor. To convince him, you MUST have completed the quest during the normal game to have healed the tree, an elf standing right by the tree gives it to you. If you havent already done this, you will have to do it now. With that done, the father will be concerned about the tree being able to grow at the sea shrine, so you must take part of the tree and plant it at the sea shrine, only then can you convince him to evacuate everyone.
I didnt do the quest in the normal world and I talked to him like three times and he just.....gave in.
@@Cicirifu I didnt do the quest either, when I talked to him he kept refusing to leave. I talked to him several times, he was starting to repeat himself. I left and did other things, finished all the other red portals and evacuated everyone else, slept to regain hp, then went back to him and he kept refusing to evacuate, repeating the same lines.
Where in the hell should i plant the tree omg i am two hour in and still trying to plant it in the same location showing in the map but its not working

@@qad11000 That I dont know, I messed up and didnt get that far and didnt evacuate the elves because the father absolutely refused to.
You don't have to climb down to its heart, you can stab yourself anywhere on it as long as your chest is flashing when you hear the heart beats
Haven't seen anyone else talk about this.
Waiting for a bigger video with all the gear 🙏
you dont have to go down to the heart, you can just stab yourself on its back when you start glowing
no it doesnt work, you need to be close enough tot he heart. i had to climg at least on the side of him to be able to use the sword. otherwise its greyed out
ive done it 3 times.@@DerRusher
You absolutely need to be near the heart. I tried it several times not near the heart and you wont even be allowed to use the sword, the option is greyed out. You have to climb down near the heart.
It’s 💯 possible to do it from its back you have to climb up to where neck meets his chest and your character will start to glow if your in the right spot please stop misinforming people. Just keep edging forward on his back until you see the glow hard to miss
Lol... First playthrough i just walked away and became a king i didn't even onow you can keep playing 😁😁😁
easy to follow, clear voice & straight to the point.. this is the perfect guide i was looking for!
You can save the game at any point during the apocalypse. At one point where I forced quit and restarted, I had 3 save options to choose from:
1) start of apocalypse
2) 1hr after apocalypse
3) 3hr after apocalypse
Hmmm🤔
Something interesting when u finally beat the game and the credits rolling whoever has the highest affinity will be the final person longing and looking off into the distance i messed up and escorted Brant on amission before destroying the dragon urn and in turn that made Ulrika not appear XD was kinda awkward it also keeps track of wat pawns were in ur adventure the longest in order or time hired and show em off.
-You can use the godsbane sword on yourself from the dragons back, no need to go to the chest
-There was no need to grab disa, she will still evacuate once you give the king the box
-The order of the beacons doesnt matter
-There's no prerrequisite for the elven tree (i've never been there and managed to evacuate everyone)
-All major Port crystals will be unlocked even if you haven't been to that area
-Save your wakestones for this world, its the only workaround to avoid the reset if you die (also try not to die)
-Use those inn sleeps wisely or my boy said, all heal potions or the spam that mystic spear hand shield like I did, lol
-Ferrystones will drop like candy
-After killing all beacons there doesnt seem to be an end, so you can snoop around the map a bit more
-All merchants will gather at the seafloor temple, so thats your last chance to upgrade everything before new game plus without walking kilometers from city to city.
Not true about the elven tree, you must have completed a certain quest or he will refuse to leave no matter what you do. When I used a ferrystone to get there, I killed the red beacon first, then went to talk to him, he will refuse to leave the tree and the son will just lament about wanting some way to get him to leave. You have to have completed the quest that heals the tree, if you havent done that then you will be forced to complete it now or he will just refuse to evacuate.
@@bradr2567 Nah. I never did the quest and he just gave in after talking a few times.
@@Cicirifu I talked to him many times, he kept repeating the same lines about refusing to evacuate. After I did literally everything else, all the red portals, all the other evacuating, I slept and went back and he just kept repeating the same lines about refusing to evacuate.
words cant explain the hype of the title drop. the whole game I wondered why the title screen never said 2. then you get there after dozens of hours and it just goes "YOU WANT A HAPPY ENDING, EARN IT" it almost captures the same hype Grigori's fight had in the first game but that is damn near impossible to top
Now this makes me want to actually play NG+ cause this endgame don't seem too bad
15:23 LOL My Pawn was the one that stole the armor off it she was the Thief :D
Thanks for this video giving a nice quick summary, i just started unmoored and not sure what to do...thank you!!
Most of those weapons in the shops you unlock after you beat the mainstory once
Indeed
Yes
Oh Allard. I helped wilhelmina kill him so I guess I won't need to beat his ass to get the oxcarts when I get to this point
I’m not sure if it was because her affinity was very high for me, but Sara (daughter of the dwarven blacksmith) Much cooler armor to choose from than the Dragon forged did once I got to the onmoored world 🤷♂️ he still sold cool weapons, but all of her armor was better
Idk if it was pure luck/coincidence but I went to a dungeon that had a boss (tomb of Al’guttos) and got two of the tricksters gear that the dragon forge sells
From what ive seen in multiple videos is that you dont even need to do the unmoored world if you want the gear from there because apparently in NG+ the dragonforge armory has the stuff you would find. Unmoored world is there if you just want to do it, it seems
The elf light beacon boss was quite unique as it was just a big snake it was pretty cool
Dont need to go to dragons heart just make sure both ur hearts are glowing before u use godsbane

It’s just best to close the first 2 rifts first, then sleep in the in, then do the other 2 after all the red rifts are closed you can just sleep in the in as much as you want.
I don't quite understand. Can you explain it again. What is the first 2 rift. What is the other 2
@@KKKumafirst 2 rifts are at the very putter edge of the map. Closest ones to the fog first, just evacuate the volcano island as well so that way if you decide to sleep after that they aren’t effected by the fog
Nah, you're still limited on the amount of sleeps you can have even after you've cleared everything. I was limited to 7 sleeps but others have said they got more. In any case, it seems like you're limited to the point to where you can't respawn any of the big monsters or dragons.
@@dustinbiester4401 there seem to be timer for respawn not actually days have to pass. After some hours I came back to a lich area and it replaced by skeleton king. Not sure how it work but it could be real time also respawn enemies if you go long enough then quit and reload. A day in game is 50 min in real life and inn sleep or bench only progress the time for you faster. I could be wrong though
If you didn't do the elf quesline you can evacuate them by talking to the leader and resting until he eventually gives up
The greatest secret I found is that giant slide by the sorcer house. I may be the only one but I find it fun as heck. Especially after a bowl hit
Level 67 in the end game yet I'm here like level 62 and haven't even finished brants quests, too busy exploring and sometimes randomly dying when enemies decide to hard focus and stunlock me
VERY IMPORTANT to note again that inn saving should still be done unless you want to lose 4 hours of progress like I did this morning. I wasn’t aware that declining a wake share would load the last inn save so I was extremely pissed having lost a ton of progress and items I can’t get back. That said I got some of it back retracing my steps but don’t let beginners traps ruin the endgame for you.
Assassin's breeches for thief is west of the drake spawn that is north or volcanic camp, coral cave unmarked if you have forager and something that needs magic medals it will ping a golem in the spot the chest will be on top of said hidden cave
It does not reset. If you sleep, you get a checkpoint. But you reset to that last rest every time you die. It also limits your time
It's not massive but I liked the 4 hours more content.
Regarding Sven and Disa during the Vernworth evacuation: you don't need to kidnap Disa, just take the ornate box and give it to Sven, he'll walk over to Disa's room himself.

Feel free to tell us which RPGS highlight on the fucking map secret chests and collectibles period? Go ahead, ill wait.
The unmoored world does not reset you to the start everytime. You can only use inn saves
If you put a port crystal in volcano town you can just ferrystone to it when you get to the couple
Looking forward to seeing what you find in post game. I'm waiting to see if there's any good loot before I hit ng+
To save everyone time, you don’t have to climb to the dragon’s heart to get the true ending, just walk up to it’s back and listen for the two heartbeats becoming one and use the sword.
I'm still 9n 30 hours and loving this game. Trying to steer clear of spoilers. Seems every one trying to rush this beautiful game.

The Dominator's armor actually has multiple locations.
The headless horsemen are harder than the red beam bosses lmao

I've almost done none of the quests. Less than 20. I've just wandered the map and killed monsters. Even found Medusa and killed her (the wrong way) wasn't able to cut her head off. Got the dragon plague once (at the city before batthal. All npcs dead. Roamed around the dessert killing monsters for about a week. Came back to dragon plague city and its populated again.

i didnt know what to expect when doing the true ending did it with 2 all heal and 3 ferry stones. 2 sorcerers rocking both master skills one magic archer and one warrior. was rushing everything thinking the red fog will kill me if i rest. nothing to worry about at all. with the martyr skil i just two of them is enough to kill the boss.
heads up, you can use the godsbane from on the top of the dragon, there is a flash that gives away the location as you walk up
Sick video, this what the people wanted!
I would say to kill the dragon first as you get a bonus 100 wlc the first time you kill him each playthrough and then go into the unmoored world while the credits are rolling.
THis. I wish there weren't a ton of videos that show you that you should just do it immediately without killing it
WHY AM I SEEING THIS VIDEO AFTER I FINISHED THE END GAME
You can also punch Allard (the noble trying to transport his wealth on the oxcart) and he will run away. A little more satisfying for my taste
In the elven village, i had to speak to the elf leader until his dialogue repeated, i slept and it changed and i convinced him(i didnt heal the world tree or whatever) you can still evacuate them if you fail the quest
Damn this is crazy. The game just came out and already finding this stuff out. A true steaming
@amx9122 did you mean the nameless village or checkpoint rest town?
@@brianbalansag both of them if you’re able I don’t think you can cart in unmoored world
If you haven’t helped the elves pre-apocalypse; To get the leader to evacuate you need to talk to him, if no change rest at the Inn. Repeat until he agrees.
I have a feeling they will bring back BBI from dark arisen dlc but more vicious or scary

Don’t forget the Monarch set for Fighters. Absolutely baller armor set.
You don't have to use the blade while on the dragons heart. I did it standing on his back once your chest starts glowing.
Sigh
after 10 days you can no longer rest at all, meaning none of the dragons respawn so the endgame wyrm crystal grind is over and have to go into NG+
being so heavily incentivized into NG+ i was hoping there would be more changes, (sadly no hard mode yet) so far only differences i see are shops now sell all the stronger loot from the getgo, but mainly the dragon forged shop has new things to spend your wyrm crystals on, like choosing a specific class and skill to 'permanently upgrade'
with how much the game talks about cycles i hope there's alot more NG+ exclusive stuff i'm unaware of
So far one thing I noticed was different, and it's very minor, is that pawns who approach you now talk to you as if they knew you left the world and came back.
Fantastic video khraze. Amazing.

If you die there is an option to return to last save 2 days after entering the unmoored world. Still it's a bummer that you will lose all your progress after that.
This sucks
The pants part has so many cuts that I couldn't tell where to go. Everything else was nice though.
if you sleep at an inn you get a save spot as well without having to close the game
no shit, but he's advising against it due to the time limit
sleeping at an inn doesn't work here... if you die (and dont quit before it says your dead) you have to start from the beginning regardless as it talks about how the world is doomed giving you an option to restart with the second option being "give up"
The unmoored world was probably the best part, im almost level 60 myself.
Ye agree. It baffles me that you can lvl to 999 and still mobs arent scaling? I mean whats the point getting the gear if I alerady kill em in 0,1 sec
Just needs a hard mode like the first game
look up "custom difficulty tweaks" on nexus mods if your on pc. has some default settings that change damage you do to enemys and damage to you and your pawns, changed my game for the better
Kinda sounds like you did it to yourself though. If you over-grind, of course content is gonna be easy peasy. I'm NG+ with only one vocation maxed, and now playing the game with a different vocation, and totally different team comp. I'm still having fun
People's desire these days to cheese things, or grind to 9's, in a single player game baffles me. Nine times out of ten, they end up bored like you
@@grantschlenger842Nothing you said made any sense. Even by exploring just 80% of the map before finishing the game you overlevel so hard that you basically oneshot everything. My thief would pretty much kill Mino, Ogre and cyclops in less than 10 seconds halfway through the game by doing some spins. Got nothing to do with "grinding level". People just explored the vast world. Only having one vocation maxed also has nothing to do with overgrinded, but with simply never changing vocations. They max out really fast.
It is simply disappointing that starting with about level 20 to 30 everthing other than dragons already became obsolete.
