Hello and welcome. Well, this is something different... The ‪@taurusfirearms‬ Tracker revolver in .17 HMR. A small round that comes out screaming out of a heavy revolver = a ton of fun! I had never heard of this round or this revolver until my friend Greg S. introduced me to it. So, thank you Greg!

    Very nice looking pistol.👍
I have not fired it from a pistol, but I have had a Marlin 917V bolt action rifle chambered in .17 HMR since they first came out, I love that rifle. I think it would be a lot of fun if Heritage (owned by Taurus) would chamber the Rough Rider and Barkeep revolvers in this caliber.👍

I like it! It must be a great shooter and a nice conversation starter especially on the range. I think it looks fantastic with the wood grips, too. 👍👍

I have no idea. I’m guessing a different camera because my main camera is being repaired.

5.7 x 28 would make more sense. But then again specialty revolvers ?? 2024 ?
Thank you for the demonstration ✌️☮️

No fricken way this is meant to be a real gun. Its obviously designed for people to bore then custom for their own purpose. Cause otherwise that would hold 14 rounds in the cylinder. Nothing against 17 hmr. But you got a good machinist and you can finely tune it to any caliber up to about 30 with high pressure.

If you get more into revolvers, make use of the DA.
Most revolvers have a good SA, but only the really good ones have outstanding DA.
I can't tell how much time I've spent with the cut away models of Korth at iwa.
With that small of a round and previous revolvers of Taurus with small speedy rounds like the raging Hornet (.22 Hornet), I wonder why it is only a 7 round cylinder. Maybe because it is rimfire.
That velocity on the box will be for rifle barrel lengths.
You know what I need on my revolver? A rear sight that reminds me of my high quality plastic glock rear sight. Nill grips?
When you have the chance, talk to some competition revolver shooters when they use lighter loads for speed vs heavy hitters. It's better to see it, but they grip way high with the light loads soaking up recoil better while they want some rolling and a lower grip with strong recoiling loads. Maybe the grip helps with your reach or look for some reduction options. Have you checked your reach on several frame sizes?
