@@sunnie1598 also dont eat 3 hours before bed. Apparently should make some kind of difference. And breathing exercises which you can find on youtube but I never tried those. Reduce nicotine or alcohol and caffeine. Workout in the morning. That’s all I know. If they don’t go away the doctor will prescribe you some sleep med
I remember lying in bed and almost falling asleep, and I thought about tripping, and I woke straight up. It's crazy, man.
I feel you, buddy.
I was laying down and I felt it I was like oh shit I honestly felt like I was falling
It’s kinda nice tho. Like waking up from a nightmare and getting that immediate relief of “oh it was just a dream”.
My heart after this jerk: ❤️ ♥️❤️♥️❤️♥️❤️♥️❤️♥️ that my heart beating fast
I always have these and I LOVE them
I’m one of those 10% that experience it daily

@@keepcalm7097i m in the same category its so scary
This happens sometimes when I let my thoughts take over before falling asleep while lying in bed and usually in my thoughts I suddenly fall too.
I do this every time I cross my legs when I’m about to sleep lol
Slipped in the hall at my old house.. in a dream I had back in elementary, and it jolted my ass awake.
For some reason when I get one it’s accompanied by the same exact scene in my head of me falling down steps and then I get the jerk. Super weird.
Same to me. I slip.
Finally someone who gets me!
This freaking happens to me after every two days I don't know why and now i have fear to sleep
Thats fucking terrifying to me, because I have a fear of not sleeping
@@elliehoke9580 oh god! Be safe dear🖤 actually I have bipolar disorder so that's why I can't sleep at night !
i like when it happens
i hate it when it happens and it feels like almost death ;/
@@anonymous_9018 Do you go days without sleeping? I’d be scared of hallucinating and seeing shadows so I wouldn’t dare :(
What I experience is usually kicking, sometimes one leg but most of the time both legs. Good thing, I never fall off my bed. I am also experiencing sleep paralysis since HS and I am so happy that it occurred less now that I am older. It also helps that there are scientific/medical explanations available now so I am no longer afraid, I just wait for the "attack" to stop. 😅
Same (with the kicking)
When this happens to me i feel like im about to fall off my bed as if it was tilted on its side so i hold onto my pillow😂😂
Omg same
I Always have it late in the night and comes with a short dream as like if I was goin out of Earth, like if Im falling up and it gets faster and faster till I force myself to wake up... now you said theres nothing wrong with that I'll relax and see how far from Earth I will get. Cheers!
this only happens to me when I sleep on the couch, which is why I never sleep on the couch
I fall asleep in class and this happens. Everyone looks at me like I’m a psychopath.
I feel your pain.
Every. Single. Night.
I get this when I'm falling half asleep in my dream land where I'm involuntarily imagining that I'm walking somewhere either forward or even backwards and then suddenly on my last step I take I can't feel the solid surface anymore like as if I've walked over the tip of an edge or into a ditch like I'm potentially falling off of a hundred feet high from which suddenly I wake up feeling the nerves on my legs jumping and it feels soooo good all over my body afterwards helping me to relax even more 😌👌🏽.
I don’t feel like falling when these occur, I feel like something is coming at my face. Anyone else?
Shulk tiem yeah I feel ya, that why I never open my eyes, well when I had sleep paralyzed. One time I open my eyes and I saw a slender man like figure not even kidding #scariestshitofmylife
InfinityBoard I hate sleep paralysis
When I have it I just never open your eyes because you are gonna see weird shit.
Shulk tiem YES METOO I HAD THIS YESTERDAY AND I GOT SCARED OF DEATH!!
My first hypnic jerk I was having a type of mini dream and I was in school and a teacher throw a highlighter right at my face, fucking terrifying
1:08 so your body can have an anti lag system? (only car guys get this).
3p1ks 😂😂😂😂
2 step 🤣
Um I’m a girl but I get it...
Sydney Photography i think they mean “guys” like everyone in general
I don’t get that falling feeling when i sleep. But this only happens to me when i sleep in the middle of class, like it feels like it only happens when i sleep when sitting.
So there was a person sitting next to me and 2 behind me and i was sleeping. It suddenly happened and they started laughing at me.
Never slept in class again. (This happened like 4 years ago) And now it happened to me twice today and no one saw it, thankfully.
The first time i ever got it was when i had a nightmare about a grim reaper swinging his scythe at me lol
Please upload something about black holes
Yeah
*All* science videos
@@bobjohnson8058 Thank you, I needed this
I was hypnic jerk yesterday when I was trying to sleep and I got very scared and got anxiety and couldn’t breathe well.
Yesterday this happened to me 🙇🙇
its scary
It feels nice
This usually happens to me when I think about falling down the stairs or something when I’m half awake
I get this shit about once a week. Once a year, I wake up in the morning to hearing a lion-like roar that makes me completely alert. I do have a horrid sleep schedule. The time is 4:04 am rn.
I’ve just found this!!
It mostly happened to me when I’m falling to sleep in the solider position, about 2-3 days and fews seconds each time.
I have these often! At least twice-three times every other night. 🤦🏽♀️. They scare me and then I stay awake for days.
omfg thats probably the scariest thing I've ever read, I have a fear of sleeping disorders/not being able to sleep and when I have these I get super scared that I'm not going to be able to sleep, you said u stay awake for days? bruh I could never
Irish Patato it really sucks... I have sleep medication that doesn’t even work like it used to. I’ve actually had a jerk where I’ve found my phone while laying here in bed trying to fall asleep. it looks like a seizure twitch. My boyfriend has epilepsy so that’s the only thing I could compare it to. It sucks.
I hate but love this... when I fall asleep I suddenly get a flash like I'm falling of something and then it's like I feel and hit the ground
