Tyr Anasazi: Well, I'd like to crush these creatures into cosmic dust. I'd like to utterly and unequivocably slaughter them. I-I-I-I want to kill them all. - Розваги
I love how he starts out with the "This is the part where I say the practical bit" then goes on a rant how he wants to slaughter the people who took his shipmate. lol
He sounds so passionate about it like he's been holding on to that thought for a while lol
don't you just love how Tyr says he wants to kill them all
This is why I love his acting and this character!! He can’t even get it out a nd the facial expressions are priceless! I’m done.
This is a paradox it is Tyr Anasazi. On the one hand he is the most practical being in the universe... What is going to do something illogical, he's going to have some fun doing it!
It's at the core of his genetics too. Niechianz (if I spelt that right I am amazed) are at their core programmed with 2 key opposing traits, survive and be the best (and make sure everyone knows it).
Survival is best done by avoiding conflict, in this case that's leaving and not letting the people with a point singularly cannon shoot at you (generally a very good idea) since your very unlikely even aboard a systems commonwealth warship to survive even a single hit.
Proving your superiority however demands you crush the people with the planet killing cannon, after all they they are a big dangerous foe for everyone and what better way to prove your the best than to beat them so heavily that they will never pose a threat ever again. That it can be fun is just a bonus, one Tyr very much likes.
"I'm done."
Yup, and that had me rollin' laughing.
Trance’s expression at the end! 😂
I also like how he's says I'm done lol
Keith Hamilton Cobb is so hot. I've been a fan of his for many years.
Tyr just got the Wrex and Grunt Seal Of Approval.
Worf and Teal'c would approve. 👍
Indeed.
That's actually pretty good acting...
Agreed. The angry stutter really sells the rage. One of my favorite quotes of his in the entire series.
@@Shane-Singleton Why did they have to ruin him?
@@Ragitsu I wish I had the answer. They ruined a lot in Seasons 4 and 5.
@@Ragitsu Blame Sorbo, maybe Barrett, and just the nature of syndication back then.
Dude was theater trained. Will never not blow my mind.🤯
Harper's ending with "uhmm". Perfect.
THIS is why I love him!
Such a great character
Tyr was definitely a nice change of pace from the usual stoic warrior types like Worf or Teal'c
3x11 is one of the funniest episodes next to the Dance of the Mayflies episode where the dead come back to life as zombie-like beings who infect others with spore-like life forms. Seasons 1 and 2 where everybody was dark and serious, season 3 is when no Fks were given
man if only Kevin Sorbo lived up to the characters he played
Being a nice guy? He succeeded.
@@grumbeard He's a nutso fundamentalist.
@@PR--un4ub What did he do? Did he ask people to blow themselves up in the name of god? Except for being a fairly religeous but standup dude I have never seen much else about him. Note this is coming from an avowed atheist. So really on what do you base the assumption that he is a fundamentalist and a nutso?
thats tyr for ya :D
KHC was a great actor and Tyr was a phenomenal character. I wish he'd just had a better script to work with in season 4. What the hell happened to season 4 and 5? Tyr should have been a far better villain than he ended up being.
Apparently a whole new writing team came in on season 4, and I guess they decided to just ignore what the first three seasons writers had been building up. No idea what caused the change in writers though.
It became the Kevin Sorbo show.
@@ptonpc Sorbo eventually went nuts.
I recently found out that the season 4 shakeup in the writing team was mostly due to the big Hollywood writer's strike that happened back then. Which ruined ALOT of shows that were on the air back then, so it actually makes sense.
@@TheCrimsonRevenger A case of, the writers who knew and cared enough to do a good job were replaced by ones who would do what they were told?
Great clip I wonder why Tyr would even suggest Harper to create
another Android when he put a lot of work into Rommie ? Harper
is my favorite character he's got a lot of attitude and he's sweet
Tyr is the pragmatic one in most cases. Everyone was expecting him to say suggest abandoning Rommie. Note he said "I believe this is the place where I say" He knew everyone was expecting to say it.
He stutters like a looney tune :)
Um personagem marcante mas...como sempre... o dedo do "hercules" acabou por prevalecer e trazer novos roteiristas que se encaixavam no perfil GOSPEL que ele queria passar pela séria. Uma pena, mais uma série que vamos ver como nostalgia.
teleporting stealhy predator dudes i fogot theyre names
Hammiest actor ever lol.
Lmfao
I'm done
somebody had raw meat for breakfast.
what sort of creatures is he talking about?
"Unequivocally"

good word to know ^^
hmmmm Tyr or Worf...which one?
It's honestly a really good contrast, because you expect the usual stoic badass warrior like Teal'c or Worf, but with Tyr we get something a different. He's kinda almost like if a combination of Ronon(SG Atlantis) and Garak(DS9).
