Ugh! I adooore this series. Everything is so well explained and you can understand better the insights of growing orchids even if you are not a beginner like me. Thank you Danny!
Perfect timing of your video Dani, the canes of my mini Dendrobiums are all wobbly and I will stake them. Also, should I remove the keikis now? There are three keikis and have 3 roots in each. Thank you.
I have a large white phalaenopsis that has grown very well and rebloomed several times in the past 3 years. It keeps growing roots that protrude through the orchid pots. Right now it's in a salad spinner. And the roots are growing through again. Should I leave it, or continue to look for larger container?
Hi, I think you might refer to the artificially colored ones? I am personally not a fan, they are actually white Phalaenopsis orchids that have been colored with a non toxic dye. I prefer the permanent natural color more ☺️
MissOrchidGirl thank you. It is really expensive too, so I figured to ask you first. Thank you for all of your informative videos. I really enjoyed them all.
What about coconut orchids? As they grow upwards out of the previous bulb instead of next to it, mine is getting very tall. I'm not sure what to do once it grows beyond half a meter tall!
Hi. Love all your videos. I love orchids but have never been able to keep them alive... I gave away my last 2orchids to a dear friend who has been able to keep them alive😍 I was wondering what is the name of the one in your video @ 18:05mins?
I had one orchid that when I weighed the spike after I had cut it it weighed as much as the orchid potted. I'd cut it because it had an issue and I wanted it to focus it's efforts
Hey, Danny, I wanted to know if you could tell me why my phalaenopsis orchids aren't spiking. I have had 2 phalaenopsis orchids for 6 years and the only time I've seen them flowering was when I got them and they"ve been growing leaves but haven't started spiking so, if you could tell me why they aren't spiking, thanks.
My wife's orchid is in bloom with 4 beautiful flowers on it and roots look very helthy. However a couple of weeks ago all the leaves fell off. Should I be concerned?
Hi, I don't have any orchid giveaways planned at the moment and due to the current situation of the world, I doubt I will send orchids any time soon. Hope to get sponsorships for other types of giveaways and I will announce in a future video if that happens ☺️
Help! My orchid isn’t flowering after a year +! I changed the potting bark, water once a week, keep out of direct sun...what to do? 🌸 It has many leaves & aerial roots galore, is stabilized with wood spikes, too.
Hi, make sure to give a slight cool down in autumn, that triggers spike production! Check out this extended tutorial on it ua-cam.com/video/n0OIbXk-Pwk/v-deo.html
Emily Pace Yes, new leaves during the past year & aerial roots. I believe it’s a Phalaenopsis. It was a rescue plant☺️ I wish we could post pictures on here because I think it looks healthy other than not having any flowers. I live in the northeast region on US. Maybe it is temp & light issue 🤔
MissOrchidGirl Maybe I’ve rotated my phalaenopsis too often, not realizing it might not be a good idea! Maybe it doesn’t matter if it’s not flowering?Thank you for your expertise!☺️🌸

I've made several purchases from RePotme and have been very pleased with them. Thank you from North Idaho zone 6a 💚🌻🌿
Glad to hear! ☺️
Thank you for showing the close-up details on the clips.
I always wonder how and why orchids are the way they are and their evolution story. Might be a good video topic.
Thank you I learned so much these years watching ur video I really love ur orchids
Very well said. Your examples were well explained. Thanks for sharing your knowledge. 🤗
Thank you 😊 for sharing your staking info! I do have a few spikeless Phalenopsis that I now can stabilize!

Hi Dani and thanks for all your work. I was wondering if you ever check the PH of your orchids?
Great information as always! 🌼🌺🌹🌱😍
I'd love to see a video just on picotee orchids, if you haven't already done one.

Hi Danny, I went to store today and saw these beautiful gemstone orchids. I wonder, what's your thought about it? Thank you😊

Will the flowers open if the spike is bent over - not snapped but definitely bent
Danny, How do I get in line for one of your Phal give a ways?

What kind of orchid? And has it grown any new leaves or growths?

MissOrchidGirl will do☺️
I've noticed in the past you didn't stake your spikes. Why the change? I always spike or shape but have grown to like others not being staked.
Hi, I have always staked the spikes that needed staking and experimented with the ones that didn't ☺️
@@MissOrchidGirl Thanks for the reply!!!!
My only dendrobium has a white staining on the top and bottom of leaves...does not wipe off...I think it's a virus....and suggestions..no bugs
Anyone have any tips for Dyakia Hendersoniana orchids, mines isn’t doing so well
Gabriel Soto I have one as well. It isn’t doing much but at least it is holding it’s own. I hope your question will have some answers pop up.👍
Yes, don't pinch those tender spikes. Check the clips frequently when the spike is growing.
Why are my orchid leaves turning black
Oh, yes, I have broken a few new stems :(
👍👍
Hi danny
