The 3 most important things to me - 1. Prepare everything the night before. 2. Do what's needed to ensure a good night's sleep and enough rest. 3. Wake up and pray, thanking God for another opportunity. This video was help to me. Thank you.
The thing that puts me in the best headspace is actually done the night before. I make sure all the dishes are clean, dishwasher emptied, counters wiped down and living room tidied up. There’s nothing better than coming out of my bedroom to a tidied home!
I’m not someone who can physically get up an hour or two before the kids and do a workout and put on makeup etc. but my kids generally wake up at the same time every single morning so I get up 15 minutes before they’re expected wake up time, make a coffee and sit outside with the dogs and just take in the day. No checking my phone before or during! Fresh morning air, a coffee and no screen time the second I open my eyes truly makes for a good start to the day 🌻😍
As soon as I’m awake I say my morning prayers before my feet hit the floor. I thank Him for the great nights rest and waking me up to enjoy another beautiful day. I also ask Him if I can do something good for someone or be a blessing to someone to please lead me to do so. ❤️
Reading my Bible taking time to be thankful for every new day and all the loved ones I have ,to remind myself to stay in the moment and not let stress or anxiety rob me of life's experience.💜

I’ve been struggling with my weight for years and I recently started waking up earlier to go to the gym in the morning, rather than waiting until after work and avoiding it. I have felt SO much better and so much more motivated throughout the day. Also, I can’t wait to try these bars! Loved the tips in this video!
Love this content! I’m an early riser so I get up about an 1 1/2 hours before I need to officially start getting kids up and ready. Morning prayer and devotions is key to start my day. Runner up is a cup of hot coffee! Love me some coffee and Jesus!!
Great tips! I am in the process of figuring out what I can do to help change my mood as I am the same way with being anxious and dreading things. It does help me to stretch out in the warm sunlight.
I wake up 1 hour earlier that’s just for me. I stretch every morning, read my bible and then make coffee and smoothie. This makes my morning better everyday :)
First thing I do is read my Bible and confessions from the word God! I wake up an hour before I have to get up this has made a big difference in my life! Love it!
The number one thing I do that puts me in a good mood is I say a prayer and say all of the things that I am grateful for and try not ask for anything in this prayer. ❤️

I love starting the morning with a podcast. As I've just moved, I finally find myself somewhere I can enjoy my outdoor space in the morning with my cup of tea and small dog... Utter happiness.
I wake up with stillness. Giving ten minutes to myself listening to things we take for granted. i.e. your heart beating, breathing. Allowing myself to stretch and have a clear mind , before getting out of bed. 🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼

I encourage people that dont have kids to get an animal because caring for something else makes your issues go away ...but my poodle named gracie encourages me to get up and take her on a morning walk ...I love her!
There's just something about love from a pet. My pup literally saved my life a few years ago, as you do I struggle with anxiety and depression. It was a really dark time and his love and me knowing he needed to be cared for helped so much. Stay strong and enjoy the puppy snuggles.
I’ve recently started waking up an hour to 2 hours before my daughter to work out I was in a really bad place and felt as if I was just a mom now. By making that extra effort and waking up before her and my husband and making sure I fill my cup first and getting in my workout it’s made a world of a difference.
I tried to do it too, but my toddler always wakes up when I do, its crazy and we sleep in separate rooms. I so much need me time, hopefully once his a bit older I will be able to do it too.

Then I get my 4.5yr old daughter dressed and as I do this we always have a big hug and tell each other how much we love each other and together we take turns in saying one thing we love about the other. Just something we have always done!! It started as just a random thing a few months ago and has just continued onwards. :) This just makes us both smile and feel the love and gratitude to have each other! Love her to bits.
My routine includes waking up, planning my meals for the day, using the bathroom, weighing myself, drinking a full bottle of water, making breakfast, eating it mindfully in silence, making my work lunch, journaling and cleaning before I leave for work. It's my routine and it makes me happy and ready to start the day.
I have routine scheduled daily, after breakfast with my husband at our garden backyard, then at least 2 hrs i spend my time gardening. I have rose garden and herbs.

I'm not a morning person AT ALL but I find that when I plan something exciting for the next day (could be an exciting meal or an exciting activity), I'm much more inclined to wake up happier and in a good mood.
I am still looking for the thing that makes my day better; I am definitely not someone who wakes up happy, thanks God and is ready to face the day. My first thought usually consists of a cuss word, and an "I don't want to get up yet." The part about asking yourself what is going right in your life really resonated with me though. I think I will be adding that to my day for sure. Thank you, Brittany, you really do help people and make a difference, when you put your videos out in to the world.
I recently retired and I'm struggling to find a new morning routine. When I was working I always had to wake up to the alarm and immediately shower, makeup, hair and get dressed. Now I'm lacking motivation to get up and going. Thanks for all the good morning routine ideas. I'm going to implement some of them!

Prayer works for me while I’m getting ready for work. Thanking God for a job, loved ones, food, a roof over my head, etc. focusing on the basics I’m grateful for helps me tremendously.
I try to wake up before my newborn and 2 year old, drink coffee, meditate, do some yoga, read some scripture, say some affirmations, do some short term and long term visualization, and make a plan for the day. The book Miracle Morning helped me to make these positive habits. I also use a habit tracker to track them. I absolutely love your videos, thank you for all you do!
When I wake up for work, I'm up early enough that my hedgehog is still awake. I like to take her out for early morning cuddles while I enjoy a homemade latte. No phone, no email, just the two of us! She's the sweetheart in my profile picture and has brought so much joy into my life.
The two main things that help me be awake and feel good in the mornings are drinking water, and getting outside, even if it's just for a few minutes. Love your channel :) Thanks for all the motivating videos! As a young mom of 5 children, I often wake up dreading the day. Not because of my children necessarily, but because of all the tasks I know I have to get done each day. So I love watching UA-cam to help get me excited about cleaning my house and being a mom. Thank you.
It's so random but baking or cooking some fragrant food in the morning puts me in such a good mood. Considering 3 years ago I couldn't really cook or bake I just find it funny that it makes my morning better.
My first reaction is to pray and thank God for my health and that i have a new day to embrace. Grace and purpose give me a wonderful prayer i can listen to and join. The kettle is boiled for coffee and then the rest follows. Love you videos. Bless you
After getting washed and dressed for my day, I enjoy a bottle of water before my coffee, then I go to a zoom meeting and reaffirm my commitment to lose weight. After that, I go about my morning routine with includes making my bed, cleaning the bathroom, emptying the dishwasher, putting in a load of laundry, and checking my mail. Then, I have a healthy breakfast and do a 15-minute workout. I am rounding out my morning by reading a novel for 15 minutes. Lastly, I watch a few UA-cam videos to learn something new and write in a notebook what inspired me.
My most favorite things to do in the morning and/or during the day is drinking my coffee and playing with my kitty boy, Fury. I also love talking to my best friend/unrelated sister who lives a state away. Thank you for this video Brittany! I loved it so much! I love you, Ryan, Carter, and Capri so much! Hope you guys are doing well! Sending all my love to you!!!
I have to lay down and put on some soothing rain sounds and take deep breaths slowly in and out. I breath in calm while trying to feel calm spread throughout my body into my heart. Then breath out my anxiety trying to feel the anxiety leaving my body with the breath. That may be weird but I have severe anxiety and this helps tremendously
I love to use my mornings to catch-up on messages from the previous day. It makes me feel good knowing I’m all caught up on friend/family texts and especially brightens my morning when they respond right away!
I wake up at 6 Am -10-20 min Yoga video -10 min meditation -Devotional/gratitude journal -Self help Audible book or I sit and read for a few minutes. -open my planner and plan my day Morning miracle and 5 AM club are good books that talk about things to do in the morning.
One of my college teachers said the two keys for success are 1 wake up as soon as the alarm goes off and 2 make your bed. If you can do those two challenging things you can do anything!!
The greatest quote I recently heard, which is becoming the credo for my life, is “you might never be inspired, so you need to be disciplined”. It’s all about the discipline
Yes!! One of my favorite books is The Artist’s Way, and it teaches that if you wait to be inspired, you set yourself up for procrastination and not wanting to do anything unless it’s going to be perfect. Instead, the discipline of daily practice is key, whether drawing, exercise, cleaning, learning a language, whatever!
Brittany I’ve been watching your videos for a few years now. Your content is so amazing and so professional. This video is life-changing and I truly appreciate the effort you obviously put in to making it. I pray blessing and protection over you and your family.
I wake up with my dog babies a cup of coffee and we sit outside in the sun for awhile ..so calming then the energy from the coffee gets me to start my day..have a good day
My most valued tip is being up 30-60 minutes before my kids. It gives me time to remember that I am not just a mom, a wife, a lawyer, friend, sister. I am a woman and a girl and someone who deserves love and time and kindness. Thanks for the video B. ❤️
I love making my nespresso, sitting down and journaling with my dog next to me, while looking at the sunrise out the window. My absolute favorite time of the day.
I love waking up to a clean house and organized morning. Meaning everything got picked-/-cleaned up night before along with laying out everything I will need in the morning to get ready for the Day.
I not the type to get out of bed immediately. I have to have quiet time: prayer+devotions. Since january, i’ve also been loving doing some yoga/stretch and it has become life changing for me! Thank you for sharing! 🥰❤️
My one thing I HAVE to do every morning is say my morning prayer to God. He gives me everything that I have and I am thankful. The next thing I have to do is hug and kiss my son. He is my life. I will have to practice waking up 1 hour before my responsibilities.. it is so hard, not a morning person .
I like to read my Bible and my devotional.... I’m doing read the Bible in a year with Charlie Kirk’s fiancé ! It puts me in a really good mood to read the text from her and read scriptures that reassure God’s promises....... after I’m done I feel so ready to start the day !
Hi there, I love your idea of changing “What am I grateful for?” to “What is going well”, or another journal prompt that works best for the individual and flows better for them. I sometimes also stop to consider “What is not going well, or what is weighing on me and blocking me from being comfortable and content?” So that I can identify if there is some action I can take to free myself from that burden / distraction.
I made an alarm clock for myself. He wakes me up without fail at 4.30 am 😂... Best part of the morning for me is saying good morning to him and seeing him smile. Nothing can ever come close to make me feel like positive like that.. ❤️😊😊😊He is 3 months now

Going outside in the fresh air and Hand watering my plants and garden 🪴 gets me relaxed and ready for the day!
When I get up the first thing what I usually do is praying and reading the Bible. Without this part there would be much missing in a day.
I love love love every single thing you said in this video. This is my third time watching it haha, soo good!!
On my 2nd time rewatching!
Same!!!
2 times watching and shared with my daughter. LOL
Came to say the same thing! ☺️
It's so random but baking or cooking some fragrant food in the morning puts me in such a good mood. Considering 3 years ago I couldn't really cook or bake I just find it funny that it makes my morning better.
Whens breakfast? LOL
Sounds like you're a fan of Fly Lady ❤️
All I need is my first cup of coffee, then I read my bible with the second cup. Most days are good!
Same here ☺️😬
What pushes me to wake up in the morning are a few things: blessed to be alive, my students, and the fact that I'm healthy.
I spend quality time with my kitten. I can't have kids so she's my baby. Bonding with her helps me be ready for my day. Energy transmission. TFS.
I listen to a minimum of 15 minutes of “Atomic Habits”....recommended by you on my audio books. It puts me in the right mind frame.
This is exactly what I need to hear to find the motivation and the “how” to attempt to take some control of my life. Thank you❤️
I have to lay down and put on some soothing rain sounds and take deep breaths slowly in and out. I breath in calm while trying to feel calm spread throughout my body into my heart. Then breath out my anxiety trying to feel the anxiety leaving my body with the breath. That may be weird but I have severe anxiety and this helps tremendously
All the Love to you 💜🤗🌈✨🕊️
loved all of your tips! Spending quiet time in prayer and reading scripture in the morning makes such a huge difference in my morning and entire day!
I love to use my mornings to catch-up on messages from the previous day. It makes me feel good knowing I’m all caught up on friend/family texts and especially brightens my morning when they respond right away!
I pray, read the Bible, and listen to praise and worship music.🙏🏾🙌🏾❤️
I wake up at 6 Am
-10-20 min Yoga video
-10 min meditation
-Devotional/gratitude journal
-Self help Audible book or I sit and read for a few minutes.
-open my planner and plan my day
Morning miracle and 5 AM club are good books that talk about things to do in the morning.
I wake up anxious too!!! The first thing I do is make my bed! That helps me feel better 🥰
I started repeating affirmations in the morning to start my day right, to feel more grateful and have a more positive outlook 😁
Just regular hot coffee while watching some UA-cam videos is my favorite part of the mornings.
One of my college teachers said the two keys for success are 1 wake up as soon as the alarm goes off and 2 make your bed. If you can do those two challenging things you can do anything!!
My morning coffee time is sacred to me! I usually wake up extra early so I can just sit and enjoy my coffee in peace ☺️
The greatest quote I recently heard, which is becoming the credo for my life, is “you might never be inspired, so you need to be disciplined”. It’s all about the discipline
Yes ughhh cos some days can be really tough! So discipline is what helps us to get through.
OMG, Yess!!! Thanks!
This is help-full! Thanks!🙏
@@eurekamarijka ooh must check that out.
The first thing I do when I wake up is ask God to be with me today, draw me close to Him.
I love that, amen 🙏🏻💛
Sweet
I start my day with gratitude, by thanking God. Then I say a prayer regarding my life and family. I finish with affirmations. ❤️
The first thing I do when I wake up is make my bed. It gives me a feeling of being organized and put together.
I like to read my Bible and my devotional.... I’m doing read the Bible in a year with Charlie Kirk’s fiancé ! It puts me in a really good mood to read the text from her and read scriptures that reassure God’s promises....... after I’m done I feel so ready to start the day !
Yes nice one
Hi there, I love your idea of changing “What am I grateful for?” to “What is going well”, or another journal prompt that works best for the individual and flows better for them. I sometimes also stop to consider “What is not going well, or what is weighing on me and blocking me from being comfortable and content?” So that I can identify if there is some action I can take to free myself from that burden / distraction.
Prayer, meditation & journaling every morning- love my routine!
I made an alarm clock for myself. He wakes me up without fail at 4.30 am 😂... Best part of the morning for me is saying good morning to him and seeing him smile. Nothing can ever come close to make me feel like positive like that.. ❤️😊😊😊He is 3 months now
🥰 that kind of alarm clock is the sweetest type ever. You sound like a wonderful mom.
