It amazes me how foolish tourists can become. There should be strict rules with fines. No one should touch, impede or agitate the guards and horses. Tourists can get pictures with the guards and horses at safe proper distance. This distance needs marked and not crossed.
All those parents are clueless. That horse could be startled and bolt and they could have all been hurt. Those children are precious and the parents would blame the guard and horse if that happened. . Respect to the guards
@@timcubison9832 I already watched a video where a woman was bitten by the horse. Her husband went to the police officer to complain and was told, basically, too bad, can't you read?
Some Tourists remind me of people who approach a Guide dog and pets it without a word to the blind person as though they don’t exist . The same with these magnificent horses they pat and maul endlessly without even a nod of respect to the Troopers who have a difficult job to do. They are not there to please the tourists……..they are professional soldiers who serve with pride. They deserve the utmost respect.
I can only imagine how stressed these horses are.. Isn't it a time we give them the freedom of not being touched by people? Just let the guards and horses be left alone.
As someone who has worked for many years with horses it is essential that you learn their body language. I can assure you that this horse is in no way stressed, & is in fact happily interacting with the visitors. The important thing is that visitors do not feed them anything. That would cause a problem. If horses don’t want you in their space, you will get a warning when you are several feet away.
Correct, he isn't stressed. He's bored just standing there. Whenever you have a horse tied up for awhile they become bored and begin to stamp their feet and fidget. This horse seems a bit bired .
None of these tourists know anything about etiquette at the horse guards parade. Barging up to the horse grabbing reins and just being horrific humans.
Many of them know nothing about horses at all! Just watch the way they approach so tentatively with outstretched hand and flinch away at the slightest movement from the horse. Never touched a horse before...
It absolutely astounds me that people see these guards on the horses and act like they never seen a horse before. I think they need to set up barriers to protect the guards and horses from people.
Absolutely disgusting behaviour from that mother! Well done to the Guard for telling her to have some respect. Those little brats were almost hanging off the horse's reins. Why the hell didn't the mother stop them? Pity the Guard didn't use his boot on them, kick them where it hurts! Totally disrespectful the mother couldn't care less.
I hope the poor horse got some medical care after those boys hung on the reins. Mother with no common sense . Much respect to the guard and his well trained horse.
@lorilove4706 These ones hanging off this poor horse are definitely not disabled in anyway more like absolutely stupid morons. No disabled person I've ever seen behaves like this ever around the horses. Thank goodness the rules have now changed and nobody is allowed to touch the horses at all.
@lorilove4706 This bunch of people aren't disabled just your typical rude tourist with no boundaries. Thankfully, this nonsense has stopped because they have changed the rules that nobody is allowed to touch the horses or the guards for that matter either. I was so happy when I saw the new signs up saying so.
That’s a really good horse and the guard knows it, she’s very friendly, she’s going right in for the scratches, she’s nuzzling, she loved the girl with the long brown hair who had clearly been around horses. That’s probably why the guard is being so tolerant. Is the horse is clearly handling it well. They are also always more tolerant with children.
Lol this reminds me of an anecdote I was watching the royal horses when one decided to take a photo with it she was accompanied by her child but the horse was angry and he bit the child the woman complained to the gendarmes that the horses were not educated enough and that the gard had to learn to hold their horses the gendarmerie just laughed and showed him the signs "be careful, horses can hit or bite" the woman said she did not see the signs and she left while muttering insults X)
If you've ever had your foot stepped on by a horse you know to keep your kids at a safe distance. These are very patient crowd trained horses and they don't mean to hurt you but getting your foot stepped on is an experience you (or your child) won't soon forget.
Sometimes I'm amazed how people don't look at what they are doing. People are waiting and so they just come barged in for a picture. Not giving a darn thing people standing behind them. The brutality is despicable.
These people shouldn't be able to get that close to them at all. So disrespectful and I am an American. Dont come here a think you can do this at our changing of the guard. You will never get that close to our soldiers. People are so damn disrespectful 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸💙💙💙💙
The fact small children are allowed to stand so close to the horses' legs and feet by parents does not cease to surprise me. The parents are oblivious to the wejght and strength of the horses if he shifts forward . Many of them have never been close to a horse before. That shouldn't be a surprise. With no signs saying they can't touch the horse and the rider and foot soldier not telling them they can't, all they can do is go by what everyone else is doing. Before you get defensive, I have to tell you that it aggravates me to see them insisting on touching the horse's face or rushing up to sort of tap the neck or shoulder and then back away in fear as if they were dared to touch the scary horse. I had horses for forty years.
How tolerant this horse is of the indignities these tourists lavish on him! The Guard is being patient of these people who hurry like lemmings to surround him and his horse! Do these ignorant folk not realise they are at a military establishment? Have they really got no common decency and respect for our soldiers and their mounts??? It goes beyond belief, it really does!

Two of my favorite horses and guards in red. The white tip nosed horse is a good one. His guard on him is tall and friendly to young children and special needs kids and adults too. The red uniform guards are my most favorites. They are so compassionate, and they pose on their horses in photos. People take cute, lol 😊
The horse would recognise a child or adult with special needs. Horses are often used as therapy to special needs people and will not mind the attention from them as they don't feel threatened by them and they instignively realise that they can calm the special needs person and make them feel special and loved

They should NOT be ALLOWED to Touch the horses, so disrespectful, it’s like a petting zoo, it wouldn’t be allowed in any other country, the soldiers and horses are on duty, it’s just ridiculous
It's as those people haven't seen a horse before! They are really annoying me.
It’s unbelievable how they let little children approach these horses because even the best tempered ones can be unpredictable. The parents are just stupid.
I watched a 4 year old go up to a horse and the horse picked him up by his cheek

@@lyndadominick1802 Then they crap their pants... What else?💩
As I watch these videos, I am always shocked that tourist will not give horses and guard some “space” when the horse is distressed obviously. That just kills me. It seems that a selfie is more important than safety for the guard or the horse or THEMSELVES. Even the most well trained horse is still an animal with instinct no matter its great intelligence and training. I admire these King’s Guard women and men greatly with their great restraint.
Those horses cannot back up if they are annoyed or threatened. I don't blame the horses for being irritated by the shenanigans that these people pull.
@@martina21953 Yep,and if a horse can't go forward or back it goes up and 1700 lbs of horse coming down isn't something I'd want to be on the receiving end of😵
Lady bearly dressed, poses like she's an influencer. I must be getting old. People never fail to disappoint.
It must be a nightmare for these guards and their horses with all these ignorant people touching the horse😢
It so amazing how calm, gentle, patient and well trained those beautiful horses are😮
Oh gawd....a touch here, a pat there
This side, that side non stop. No wonder the horses are nippy .
Don't touch the horse
Dont touch the hoses nose
Dont touch the reins
Don't touch the guard

It should be up in every language, but even with 1 don't phrase hung up for all to see the tourists ignorance is prominent & have shown they'll do it anyway thinking its a game and entertaining laughs
Perfect analysing gone far too far now to be safe as we have Witnessed this week.
Wish people would realize just how stupid they are being
It amazes me how foolish tourists can become.
The parents would probably demand the horse be put down jf there kids were hurt. Totally stupid behaviour
They are Not Precious
They are brats
And they have CCTV so stupid ignorant parents can not blame the horse. Or guards. If those brats got hurt their own fault and the mother's.
@@timcubison9832 I already watched a video where a woman was bitten by the horse. Her husband went to the police officer to complain and was told, basically, too bad, can't you read?
Ei noi kakarat ole arvokkaita. Hevonen on!
So admirable of a soldier. Very patient. Thank you for your service.
Agree.
Those boys were very lucky. Their mother needs to get her act together
Dumb **** She is!!
Man, poor horse has to deal with constant touching by hundreds of hands. Freaking officials should put an end to the petting.
@@sananto6896 They have, but people don't read. Red circle with slash across, don't touch horses. No touching touching.
The Royal Guards and horses should not have to deal day to day with the tourists, they are working and they seem to be disrespected all the time.
They think London is one big stage show and they have bought a ticket!
It absolutely astounds me that people see these guards on the horses and act like they never seen a horse before. I think they need to set up barriers to protect the guards and horses from people.
Many of the people HAVEN'T seen horses, let alone a war horse. These are not "pretty horsies," they are warriors in they own right.
That is an awesome idea
Absolutely disgusting behaviour from that mother! Well done to the Guard for telling her to have some respect. Those little brats were almost hanging off the horse's reins. Why the hell didn't the mother stop them? Pity the Guard didn't use his boot on them, kick them where it hurts! Totally disrespectful the mother couldn't care less.
I hope the poor horse got some medical care after those boys hung on the reins.
Mother with no common sense
.
Much respect to the guard and his well trained horse.
The mother is an idiot. Hope the horse is okay.
Wow must be hard on the horses with all the noise and tourists constantly touching them.
@@RoseWaddell-k6e those horses go through training for that environment
I did not see this occur. Will someone please tell at what point in the video this happened.
This is one of my favourite guards because he normally isn't afraid to put tourists in their place plus he is kind to disabled people.
The horse has been so patient too. Hands all over him!
He is being kind to these mentally disabled tourists! I just don't get it, why they don't put a stop to this!
I was so happy when I saw the new signs up saying so.
u@@PecanBaby...
I’m starting to think those people should not be aloud to touch these magnificent animals at all .
Unfortunately, this is the "selfie" generation. It is all about THEM being in the picture even if they fall off a cliff..
Frustrating isn't it?
As some idiots have already done.
If someone’s child gets hurt, they will say it was the horses fault..
That's the world we are living in. Even the aged have lost their manners. That's why in the event of a fire I would save animals over Humankind.
Guardsmen and their horses deserve awe and respect, not cheap shots.
Makes ne sad the Guards are treated like dress-up soldiers for kidz and adults to be photographed with..Do not diminish these wonderful horses and very brave military men and women...Stop the public getting so close to them!!!!!! (How many more times?)
Those kids were almost hanging from the horse. I think the guard said something to the mother about their behaviour although we can't hear it.
WHY do humans think it's OK to put their hands into a horse's face?😒
@@vickiburacker4578 A lot of people... I worked in a stable and I couldn't tell you how many children I saw running on the horse's head putting their hand in their mouth or nose 🤷 quite simply because on the box it was not written "biting horse" so he thinks that the horse in question is not dangerous and harmless I have even sometimes seen children enter the stalls without permission or, accompanied by an adult, most of them end up being bitten by one of the horses.
I'm sorry for my bad English lol
The horses and troopers are immaculate…it’s a shame the public are so shabby alongside them.

I'm shouting at the screen "leave the horse alone" grrrr!!!!!!
People should be stopped from touching the horses...full stop!
Согласен. Тоже не понимаю - почему разрешают трогать лошадь. Не разбираюсь в психологии лошадей, но мне кажется, это должно утомлять лошадь, что к целый день чужие руки тянутся к морде.
I also don't understand why they're allowed to touch the horses. It all looks like a pantomime. Stupid people.
Reckon the “guards” in red attire don’t have a clue how to handle these beautiful horses, either…
@obsolise8063 the guards are trained soldiers mate they know how to handle their horses and its not forbidden to touch the horse
Can you imagine the sores they get from a thousand + people rubbing on them every day?

I think rather than using don't, like the sign it should say DO NOT, capitalised and in bold print. It's more authoritative that way.
You and others need to realize that a lot of these tourists don’t know the English language. And there’s some who know it but won’t obey
One would think that these people had never seen a horse before!!!!!
@@tombrooks8898 Right, everytime I watch these there is so many tourists that have no respect at all.
@@tombrooks8898Maybe they haven’t. You can’t expect everyone to know about horses, all they know is what they are taught in school, H is for horse; with a pretty picture of a horse. I’m from the US and I know that a majority of people have never seen a real live horse.
Some should be charged with child endangerment. The woman in the grey top one of the worst. One movement from that horse and her daughter would have been trampled on.
These parents are a disgrace.
The poor horse enduring all that touching!!! The sign should read ‘do not touch the horse’.
The beautiful horse certainly is patient with all those touchy feely tourists. It's almost like he poses. I wouldn't blame him if nipped those rude tourists.
Constantly we see idiot parents placing their very small children in a dangerous place all for a photo that THEY want regardless of what could possibly happen to the child, one day a poor child will be very very badly hurt. If you so badly need a photo take them up yourself hold onto them and for goodness sake keep a safe distance.
Everyone has to outdo the previous one by holding the horses head or getting an inch away making look like they are so wonderful, the Guards adrenaline must be on MAX level while there is a huge crowd within feet of the poor hose and having to watch each one to make sure no one is placing others in danger by grabbing the bridle or reins. And that MOTHER and her boys grrrr ok wont say what I want to say others have said it all.
Keep Safe Keep Strong 🦘🦘🦘🦘❤❤❤❤
it's like people have never seen a horse before. I wish they would stop allowing people to touch the horses. it just stresses them out so much. people are so entitled though, and until they stop it altogether, the horses will keep being stressed. nobody has manners anymore.
They should be banned from touching the horses full stop, if people can’t show the respect they deserve.
La gente es muy irrespetuosa, admiro la paciencia de los pobres soldados y caballos❤
You sure can tell who that horse likes!❤ I wish he would push ignorant people away with his powerful head !
What a wild bunch, even the mom doing something at the end of the video, trying to pet the back of the horse.
Going behind a horse is definitely a no no 1st it could pee or poo on you 2nd it could kick you
How tolerant this horse is of the indignities these tourists lavish on him! The Guard is being patient of these people who hurry like lemmings to surround him and his horse! Do these ignorant folk not realise they are at a military establishment? Have they really got no common decency and respect for our soldiers and their mounts??? It goes beyond belief, it really does!
What a beautiful and sweet-natured horse! And so patient with all those pesky tourists!

Exactly. You’re not supposed to go round the back of a horse anyway and touch its rump. Same with our alpacas. I sometimes accidentally touch their rump and they respond with a “get lost!” Kick with their back leg!

Eu acho pouco, deixem o pobre em paz.
It’s amazing to me how many people put their hand under the horses mouth 🫣

See the kids,know the parents!
The level of disrespect I see on these premises appalls me. I was raised to have respect for the British monarchy; no, I'm not speaking of seeing them through rose-colored glasses and being blind to their faults. I cannot understand how the rabble that visit here thinks it's acceptable to behave like boisterous hooligans and dress in a manner better-suited either for weeding the garden or, for attending a club for an evening with one's chums.

There are already signs up saying "Do Not Touch The Reins" and some people ignore them,do you think people like that are going to take any notice of signs saying"Do Not Touch The Horses",they are the type of people who would go swimming off a beach where there is a sign saying "WARNING! SHARKS!🦈

Love watching these videos for the different reactions of tourists to the horses. Having spent 50 years around horses, you can immediately spot the confident “horsey” visitor approaching, such as the girl at 8:42. Playing with the horses muzzle like she does is safe if you know what you are doing.
