We live in NYC (attached houses). I saw my husband in his yard sitting on his balcony. It was magnetic. He did not see me. He took my breath away. Him and I did not meet until months later (it is NYC you can go years not knowing your neighbor). We finally met when he saw me and ran out of his house to talk to me. A man who wants you will move heavens and earth and there will be no ambiguity! We just bought a house in Italy. We plan to split our time between USA and Italy. We are both from another country. We love traveling and don't think twice about moving somewhere.

It still happens. Depends on d kind of man and also how the lady carries herself.I have experienced this with two different men. Some men lack manners and some women act very cold or claim super independent dont need a man to pay. If the man picks on that, then he would be worried about offering to pay for anything. The whole feminist movement is very confusing for both men and women today. And if a generous man picks on that hyper-independence, he may not approach d lady at all

This story really touched me and brought tears to my eyes. I met a wonderful man, A Pastor, and college professor who proposed early in our relationship, he was diagnosed w a lung disease and in the midst of our wedding planning he died. 1 year ago. He showed me more love and peace, and experienced more joy and respect than I have ever had in my entire 62 years here on earth. My entire family fell in love w him and wherever I went people would say, I've never heard a man speak of a woman with such a light in his eyes and happiness. I thank God for Him loaning him to me, if just for a while.❤🙏🏾

One of the ways I knew he was the one is that everything he did while he pursued me spoke of his recognizing my value and of his wanting to build something lasting. Being an African-American and hearing your story about your parents wanting to give you diamonds or a trip to your birthplace, I live!!! It has nothing to do with the money it really has to do with the love and the cultural expression of life! It's amazing and I'm so jealous and a positive way if that makes sense to anyone out there! But those of us that know from our experience of feeling so disconnected from our culture language etc people do not understand this. what a wonderful story. As Yorubas would say "omo e'tor" meaning Ole is cultured/has manners/class. Meaning he knows what to do at the right time. For example - showing absolute regard to your family. Sending your mom orchids, sending little gifts to your mom and sis for the new born. Now that is a man with class! it is not really about the gifts - it is the intention that says - I acknowledge those who matter to you!

How i connected to you a day after praying for my husband intensely and looking at Scottish grooms in kilts 😂 is just divine. You see, am 43 , turning 44 in April from Ghana, living in USA for 26 years. Single with an 11 yr old son. Like you tried to fit the mold of marrying an "African" man.
