Mama, I’m 29 years old and have NEVER been taught how to be lady - like. Unfortunately, my mother rested in masculinity, as she was a single hardworking Mother and while I will always honor her, I extremely appreciate these lessons from you. Thanks immensely & I love you Mama Fumi!❤️💕💐

If we look around us, we see a lot of masculinity in the world. Which can then become our only perspective of how to behave and what to do, how and when. That's why these channels teaching us how to be feminine women are so important. We are taught to get it like a man everywhere we look. We need these videos. Thanks Fumi. ❤️

Love you for teaching these lessons. As a young woman (I'm now 61) I was taught all of this in school! Yes, school. As the years have rolled on, comportment/etiquette lessons were taken out of the classroom. I see the lack of social training all around me and I find it irritating. Especially with my young African American women. One of my pet peeves, is seeing a woman (young or old) entering a room LOUDLY, drawing attention to herself. Thank you Fumi for todays lesson. Keep it up!!! You are loved here in Indiana.

YEEEEEES SIS! As a graduate of Ophelia Devore, I commend you, you did everything I was taught. One thing I wanted to add, I am banquet server, and one thing that drives me crazy is open seating dinner parties. Ladies, I understand that people want to pick and reserve their seat. Please don't tip the chair forward over the table. 1 that is so dangerous for servers, we look up the majority of the time, and we can miss those chair legs sticking out, and we can be badly injured. 2 it makes the room look horrible. If you and your party want to claim a seat, just take the napkin from the table, and drape the napkin on the back of the chair. Thank you sister for teaching this. Oh I wanted to add about the sucked in tummy. IT TAKES PRACTICE! But once mastered it helps so much with posture. Ladies all those poses she taught you, and a sucked in stomach you'll always look elegant, and you will never take a bad unexpected picture again. ❤️😘❤️😘❤️

    Act and Look Your Best
    Do Not Embarrass Others
    Be Punctual
    Do Not Criticize or Complain
    Speak with Kindness and Caution
    Listen Before Speaking
Don’t be Boastful, Arrogant or Loud
    Give Genuine Compliments
    Say “Thank You”
Be yourself - and allow others to treat you with respect 😁

This is such a wonderful video. And so needed right now. Good manners and etiquette are soft skills we seem to be losing...
You just reminded me so much of my first Form Teacher. I am lucky in that my high school teachers were very much old-school ladies, several of whom were graduates from British Universities. From the first day we were taught how to sit, stand, etc. There were over six hundred young ladies at that school and we stood for the entrance and exit of teachers for every class/period. Six hundred plus standing and sitting at approximately the same time and you'd never hear a chair drag.

Oh my this is bring back so many memories. I went to modeling school in my 20’s and did a little modeling. I ❤ it. It’s funny I used what I learned and had so many hater’s 😌 they felt like I thought I was better than.. and that was so far from the truth. I was very shy, didn’t think I was really pretty and going to modeling school gave me confidence oh and forgot to mention I was tall and skinny so my going to modeling school gave me confidence I never had. I believe I had hater’s because one I used what I was taught and two lot of women were/are clueless as to how to sit, stand etc. and this is by no means putting anyone down I went to modeling school I read books that’s how I learned. But thank you so much beautiful I’m still learning and you’re doing a great job at teaching ❤.

I love you , and I’m so glad you are here to educate these young ladies on proper etiquette and manners , I’m a 69 year out that was taught these things as a young girl, but when I tell the young ladies these things they think I’m being old fashion.! Now can you teach them how to address each other properly and not as bit****chs and Who***ars, thank you in advance

I agree also! Women use to rebel against those names, especially when the rappers first started calling women those names. However, women adopted the attitude, that if you can’t beat them, join them. Now BW started accepting all those terrible names for themselves. But I’m a firm believer that you become who you keep saying you are. I believe if you repeat that you’re a Ho and a Bitch enough, you will began to demonstrate some of those traits! Because we become who we say, we are! Words carry the power to create and manifest things. Anyway, Fumi’s teachings are so needed nowadays!!☺️👍🏽

Thank you Femi for these wonderful tips and reminders of manners, etiquette, posture and femininity! ❤ I think women and girls should get in the habit of wearing more simple dresses and skirts to school, work, store and in every aspect of life which will help retain the lessons of physical femininity when bending, sitting, stepping or entering out of a car and with walking. Whenever I wear a dress especially non bodycon dresses men respond more positively.

While I was watching this my 16 year old son said wow Mom it's really something that a video needs to be made to show these skills. I told him that a lot of women were never taught correctly. I told him that you have a video on how to properly walk in heels. I told him there is an art to it, a lot of teenage girls first time in heels is at the prom. More often than not they buy some shoes to match their dress and don't consider the height and how long they will be wearing them. Thank you for being our fabulous Auntie and sharing so much with us. We live, we love and await the next episode ❤️

Sis Fumi I’m a 63 years young woman who enjoys taking care of myself. Self- care gives me confidence wherever I am, under any situation, and makes me feel good. That said, I’ve noticed that the ladies of younger generations amongst my family and friends are somewhat lackadaisical about their presentation. These same ladies all have Mamas that have never taken the time to teach their daughters how to practice self-care. Could you do an episode about the benefits of self-care, and presenting yourself in the best way. Especially for younger ladies starting out in their chosen careers, and starting to date more established, professional people?
