Yeah I experienced moisture overload with vegetable glycerin, it's very moisturizing! I find that avj is the right amount of moisture for my hair.

Thanks for this vid.... you are so cute. Also by adding a few drops tea tree oil it will preserve it a bit longer and you are so right about the fridge and coldness, I awalys rinse my hair with cold water.

I honestly never tried that, I normally just use the gel for laying my edges down...not really for moisture, I would recommend the juice over the gel. If you wish to try the gel, go for it!

Hello I also have my aloe vera mixed and I understand what you mean when saying you want to try thr most simple mix first (water aloe vara). That's what I did at first too. Then I added a small amount of oilve oil, then a small amount of glycerin and that's the perfect mix for me.
I know you loooove glycerin so you should give it a try in your mix. Love your videos and your journey :-)

The avj I have, lily of the dessert has preservatives in it and it last for a long time...but I go through it pretty quick too, so yeah lol.

I've been using it for about 2-3 weeks now, I've used water and glycerin before, but not with the avj...I might have to try that.

I love Aloe Vera Juice...straight, no mixer. It has the same pH balance as our hair naturally. Adding water makes it more alkaline.

I bought jasmine green tea, before i knew green tea makes me physically sick. I was gonna throw them, buy instead, i now make the tea, but use it in products for my hair and face, instead of plain water...also rose water is good, and its distilled.

Yes, please refrigerate!!!! If you don't it will have bacteria molds inside the bottle floating!!!! I use Aloe Vera juice straight no chaser... One day I forgot to put away my spray bottle in the fridge and left it in my random handbag... A week later, there was all this molding inside!!!!

    • @debj5114

Well, that’s her style of speaking. I find it lovely but rather than critique (& in a rude manner at that) her way, just go elsewhere. UA-cam is full of hair videos like this. Plus, I’m sure you were taught something called manners?

    • @Love87837

This is not nice at all because you guys came to her channel to be unkind. We need to be more supportive instead of being mean girls.

  • @meelahlowrey

I like your simple mixture but for what this video is, there was entirely tooooo much talking. You may want to speed up steps that aren't critical like pouring water in a bottle. That was a bit mundane. Juts some thoughts...God bless
