I even documented how I made and used the gel on my UA-cam channel. So glad that others also recognize the benefits of using aloe in their hair!
I don't know how I ran across the video about the Aloe Vera juice but it was about two months ago. But anyway, I went out and bought the exact brand of juice and put half and half with water and used it to detangle my hair and I would spray my hair and scalp with it every day after first using JBCO and I can not believe how moisturize my hair has been. I have used so many products since going natural eight years ago, and none of them left my hair feeling moisturized or soft until I started using the Aloe Vera juice. Now when I take down my twists my hair isn't matted together, it just comes apart, I love it and will continue using it, great video.
Try aloe Vera leavin from Hairizon brand it’s a black owned company from NC, they have a brick and motor store and also sell online. I know I can buy aloe Vera and mix it up but I like there’s because it’s cheap and is ph balance plus they add other quality ingredients plus it’s supporting a small black owned brand
I'm all for helping Mom and Pop businesses of any color if their products are great quality...they also have to have integrity and be customer driven, then their business will grow by word of mouth. :-)
Aloe is hydrating and strengthening. I’m glad you found your magic haircare product! I like to mix it with distilled water and rose water in Winter as a spritz before styling. It can be drying if used alone, do mixing is always a good idea.
Aloe vera has a more acidic pH (close to our hair's natural pH ~4.5-5.5) so it should be used after you shampoo/condition. Products with lower pH should be used after we wash since shampoos and pre-poos are alkaline. Think of it as going from 7 to 4 on the pH scale - esp if you have low porosity hair. I've started a new regiment based on pH and I noticed an immediate difference! I dilute my aloe vera juice so its not too acidic and use it as my liquid in the LCO method.
Keep the aloe vera juice in the fridge or it’ll go bad. You and your hair are beautiful, by the way. You are such an inspiration for me and other 4C hair types. Keep up the good work!

Do you add anything to it or just spray it as is???
@@justpeachyXO94 i usually add an oil to seal in moisture
your hair is so thick and beautiful. Did the aloe vera help with thickening or was it always so thick?
Your hair is so long now omg ☺️☺️
I use natural aloe vera, the plant. I just put it directly on my hair.
I think I'm gonna try this on my beard and stache. You are beautiful Joy-el.
I'm a van dweller, I wash My hair with aloe vera juice, spray on and comb, then rub with a towel. I wash My face with aloe gel, the rest of My body I use "Bananna Boat after sun", I do water it down with 1/3 water, use a white towel, You'll be amazed at how clean it gets You. No need for Homeless People to stink.
#SOOOOOO true🎉
You and your hair are gorgeous. My hair loves aloe vera. It’s slips nicely through my curls. I usually use as a leave in before applying my oil and cream conditioner
Thank you for sharing your experience with aloe vera juice. This juice works wonders I have had so much success using this. You're absolutely right about evrything. The moisture it leaves is unmatched. I hardly have shrinkage when using this to revamp my hair throughout the week.
looks like I'm about to run down to Walmart and pick it up so I can try it out because my hair needs the moisture so much right now
And it's not expensive. For that size I believe I paid $7.00
Your hair is so beautiful!! Fro goals 😁😁
My hair is that same type but I'm trying to get it to grow more. Very good tip about the aloe vera juice.

@@Lexi_NurturelyGrown In the pharmacy in the laxative section
MeeMee thank you!
@@Lexi_NurturelyGrown, sorry that I didn't see this, dear. Glad @MeeMee got you all squared away!
Have you seen the brush that's a showerhead? Just thought saw it in a video and thought of you when you said you detangling yours in the shower. I also wanted to let you know that I stopped using shampoo and started using Glover's dandruff soap. I then use a co wash. If I wash my hair within two weeks, I do not get dandruff any more. My mother used to sell alone juice. In the early 80s, it was a big health trend product. I could not drink it. It tasted do awful that unless someone was to sneak it into a drink, I wouldn't try it.
You’re so naturally beautiful😍
You remind me of Alex from Totally Spies 😊💖 You're very cute!
Get the berry flavored one to consume. I like the plain one as well. It does do wonders.
I'm hoping you refrigerate after opening. There is another aloe that doesn't need refrigeration - Nappyheadedjojoba talks about it in her vlog.
I do! Thank you! 💕😁
