- Good morning and afternoon @everyone ! I hope you're having a wonderful start to your week. Today's video breaks down the July 2024 Summer Games that Scopely has put in for players level 20+. The rewards are pretty good, but are they worth it? I go through the events as well as different strategies for completing. Are you going for the gold?

The TOS crew worked really well on the Realta.
Very relieved we have the designated Realta spaces. So much fun seeign all the lil guys zooming around! Spend event has me torn though... So much Syndicate! Mmm. But then officers... Gahhh
Better then last summer that we did 8 million armadas for july 4th for little return.....

We just had a spend materials xslb that finished yesterday and now we get a spend materials sms with crazy milestones.
There are far too many of these spend materials events.
Of course there are too many...Scopely wants you to spend a lot of money. That event can only be done by paying a few hundred dollars or saved like thousands of mats. This is again a whale event, impossible for f2p to complete

How do I express my Extreme Pleasure but Extreme over all displeasure at this Event?
I LOVE Realta PVP. I love PVP where I get points to lose passively unlike the current Borg Cube Events where I only get point for attacking. I had so much fun today with it. PVP EVERYWHERE makes everything difficult to enjoy when I'm just trying to do dailies an people are camping and hitting my ships while I'm running PVE crews. PVP in Specified areas is fun. Lets make it All Yellow Augment Space. I would love that. Warp in and out of systems, dodging whales or hit balanced levels. I love when crews matter not meta
The spend Event steals from what I'm saving for the next great officer spend event and the Rewards are so far in the not same ballpark, it's not the same game. Not worth the time or Effort.
The Power event not good but I have tons of research to be done so neutral.
TWO bad and one Neutrals with one bad that could Really easily be a great.

This last arc did me in. It was the first time in several years that I didn't buy the $20 pack. They've just added too much for me to care about all of it. There is 12 month old content I haven't even gotten to yet. So many loops have been essentially made pointless. Why should I think this new content won't end up in the same useless bin?
Well, because this is just a 4 day event series?
I know what you mean. I’ve never killed a silent hostile, and I’m just getting around to Gorn. At this point I do what I can, then leave the rest.
No need for a PvP crew on the Realta. Just find someone without it as well and hit them. Battle will stop at 100 rounds but still get you points. Attack the same ship multiple times and you're done.
(Offensive) PvP crews just cause people to have to fly back all the time.

I am doing everything EXCEPT the mat spend. It does not mix into my slow ftp but low spender strategy (inspired by Rev!). Small event store would have been cool (maybe we just have not seen it yet).
Realta PvP done in 2 minutes. Domination done in 5 minutes. Killing FKR hostiles will take a few more. Lol the Kobayashi Maru event isnt getting done unless i rush from 42 to 48 lol dumb milestones
I just switch a miner with the Realta and slap Vemet on as captain.
I like the idea, but I could upgrade everything I have at 42 and I still don't think I could reach the 1st milestone of the marathon. lol
Rev after game reload yesterday, it brought in all my ships one by one, also all officers showed as new inmy list, went to do realta event, my 2 realta including one with skin have vanished, wondering if anyone else got this bug?
PVP is gonna get harder and harder with these new officers.
This marathon event is ridiculous. Even the first tier is a massive amount of 4* rare at lvl 49.
But, keep in mind, marathon isn't required. Just optional if you like the rewards.
@@RevDeuceBut why isnt this event called heroic? Its obvious that this is a spender event. And not normal but heavy spenders because paying 100,- wont be enough
@@RevDeuce i agree, but they keep on putting these ridiculous events out where you can’t even get to the first tier. It wouldn’t kill them to make the first reward achievable for the majority.
mostly F2P level 35, server 89 (shout out NOIR AKA Black Nova)
that spend event sucks. I'm struggling just to get to the first milestone and I'm probably not going to try to get any further than that. but I could really use at least some Syndicate XP.
meanwhile my Android app is still hanging every ten minutes. how much for the Prime Game Stability research?
Some of the higher level players are estimating it would take around $5000 to complete the materials event...absolutely ridiculous
Eh that definitely varies by player/account. I could finish mine if I could find enough things to spend uncommons on. Because I've taken so long in the upper 40s I have plenty of UC. Just nothing I can drop it on. (Rares is where I'm held back on)
@@RevDeuceYeah ok, thats good for you. Im a lvl 57 and its absolute impossible to complete and also for all my allie buddies. Whats the point of this event for higher lvl players? You HAVE to pay a lot of money to compete

2.86M for first tier at level 53 and 2nd tier is 5.73M this unannounced event I would have not spend on the XSLB over the past weekend have I knew it was coming. $copely doing things like this is why player hoard resources.

To be honest: I loved last years armada event! But the recent months made it pretty clear something like that probably wont happen again,

I'm not wasting my time with this.
As a ops 49 player I don't see how its possible to finish the "Summer games Marathon" sms. Currently at 49 ops g4 unc/rare materials only give 40/60 points which is drastically less then the past. To get the 21 million points you'd need to roughly spend 550,000 uncommon material. I know you don't have to finish the whole thing but that is insane amounts of materials.
At Ops 46, I have that much Uncommons built up, but nothing to spend them on, lmao
@@nvanattia yep that's my major issue unless I want to go into the 50s and join the horrible bracket. 51-70 is all the same bracket for slbs it's terrible
Can the overlords give the realta skins to new servers for the realta PvP?
We've asked, but, if they do, they'd likely just sell them lol
They gotta add XP to the Fitness SMS and drop the milestones to the Marathon. It’s just impossible for lower accounts, hell, even the higher accounts are going to struggle.
If you struggle in the Fitness SMS, then it might be time to move up in Ops. I was able to buy some Ex-Borg favors today to finish it off immediately and will have some Artifacts to upgrade tomorrow. By Wednesday/Thursday I will just finish it with some research I need to do. There are a lot of ways to gain power in the game.
55 milestone is more than double
put a levis crew with synergy and get 2 deaths.
Realta crew: ToS Kirk (captain), hg Worf, weyoun. (Stack defense)
If you have them they are good
I'm going to skip these events, as the rewards are not worth going after for myself.
Hirogen Hunt was vastly more rewarding than this unfortunately. Zero mats or rss as rewards too. Silly spend sms milestones. Easy to just pass on engaging but thats not a good outcome for anyone.

Domination is hard enough using speed ups to finish things that takes multiple days don't get you anything..
You can buy favors and upgrade Artifacts as well, since they count as researches.
No xp is a waste of event. No thank you scopely 🤗❤️

Logged in, saw rewards. Not worth the time. Maybe the next levels will be somthing more that trivial amount of stuff.
Yeah me on lvl 45 I had to spend 522.000 uncommon G4 to be able to reacht top. That nonsene. another event to ignore.... I had to have prepared at least 20 Iss jellyfish T1 for leveling up. Waste of time for lvl 40 players

She works for uncommons, but not rares/epics.

It's the physical fitness that ruins this event. 1 day was enough, but 3 escalating milestones?!? Off arc?!?. I won't be completing that, which means I won't be completing the meta. Reward was extremely meh for that work anyway, so no heartbreak there, but not completing the meta means i'm not going to break my back for any single event either. And strictly from a design perspective, I imagine there is supposed to be some tie to the Olympics, but running the same event 3 times over is neither exciting nor inventive regardless of the milestones.

Stay at 39. That’s a safe Ops level to be at.
@@thehawk5141 They’re really rubbing it in my face that they’re excluding me from everything new that’s happening but i think i’d rather quit the game than bow to their pressure 🤔 I’ve given a lot of my time to this game, so sad they’re treating f2p low levels with such disdain 😔
More events with very meh rewards, where's the materials players need to upgrade stuff with coming from 😴
IA gave ya the boot huh? Kicking folks for not going to a hive system for incursions is just so dumb. Spots open in the hive as folks jump over to the other server. Yep, dumb.
Our server lost because one whale forgot to shield. 10 trillion points lost in an hour. Kicking little guys with millions for not hiving up is silly. In the end, it doesn't even matter. Irresponsible bigguns is where the whole battle is won or lost.
