- Big Chief takes the crow to the no prep kings to the firebird raceway in Idaho. Big Chief had a strong showing and went up against some really fast cars and made some really close races. Big Chief is showing he can no prep just like the rest of the 405.

Chief's motor is $12-14k Ryan's is almost a $100k he also makes around 12-1500 more hp than Chief

No prep racing should be called take 15 min to line up racing,oh yeah and bring every friend and family member to the line racing also
As many track passes as Ryan has on that car, and only got my boy by inches..They better be on notice, they got trouble, and it’s called the crow! Not sure if many people know this but chief and Shawn pretty much started this whole no prep movement with king of the concrete and back of the track race at thunder valley in OK! Listen to the podcast and you will learn a lot!

Would've been nice to see the slow motion finish line replay! Still, hell of a good race!!!! All final races should be running that close!!! I absolutely love both cars and driver's. Wished they only list raced, and different city callouts. 405 vs 405... who won? The 405!!!

@@generalmcgarity7551 lmao Ryan Martin has a BBC. Big chief has a small Pontiac motor. There nothing alike. Ryans has a 520+ci BBC Proline 481X! They make 3 diffrent 481x's! Murder nova had the smallblock 481x. which is 482ci. But chief still runs that same small Pontiac motor. Its 482ci Ryan Martin and Chiefs motors are miles and miles apart. Hell chief still runs them same old edelbrock heads on that lil punk Pontiac motor.
Just cause it says 481x dosent mean its 481ci. That motor come in tall deck smallblock. 481ci and the 481x also comes in a 500 ci big block and like a 526 ci big block. Monza Dave an Ryan All have the same motors

But i did say Mills ol motor that he went like 3.71 3 passes in a row at lights out or no mercy cant remember which one. But if you'll watch the feed of RVW from the last LightsOut Duck talks about it. He said its said a motor that u coulda bracket raced at 3.70s an rqn couldnt run better than like a 3.91 at that point in time he went faster than that later in the event. But one of his motors is out of golden gorilla not Kong lol. Think I had just watched a lizzi video of them testing king Kong or what ever an must of just had that stuck in my head. Hell if it came outa kong it would be a nitrous motor lol

The power of the big block barely had enough distance, to prove its power advantage had it been a quarter mile the gap would've been more significant. The bigger the crank, rods, pistons, wristpins, valvetraim the harder it is to create delta v on those components, Inertia, bigger objects on a macroscopic scale want to stand still and resist acceleration, that's why some use smallblocks.

@@backyardbuilttrucks1 Whatever. He has a 16 injector Fueltech FT600 for alcohol. That system runs a person around 15000. Thats just the ECU harness etc. Last I saw he had two PTE promod 91s or 94s. They are about 6000 each. Turbosmart wastegates and blow off valves are another 2000ish. Whats that up to? Around 30k in just the EFI and turbos. None of these guys are poor anymore and none are running cheap parts.

I'm guessing tho, the guys that regularly appear on Street Outlaws, Doc, Ryan, Chief, Shawn, Daddy Dave, Dom, Chuck, Monza, Boosted, have it worked in to their contract with the production company to make more $$$ for these events. But, again, just a guess. Those cars are not cheap to build, let alone run, so sponsors is where it's at.....as evidence by DriveWFX from Western Flyer eXpress on Chuck's car.
The appearance cash was for events as appearances. Not NPK. Fuck the people who think its why he disnt no prep are dumb asses. Neither him nor shawn did no prep before because they were going all over the country street racing. Its not a hard thing to find all the videos for those.

@@derickmcclain616 he isn't screwed over. Everyone running that combination is under the same rules. If they added weight to him and only him that's different but that's not what happened at all. He had a big advantage being much lighter. Like I've said before the rules balance out the different combinations so they all over a shot at winning. It's been going on in heads up racing for decades and it works and they always continue to make adjustments to the rules if one combination is getting faster and or another isn't keeping up.
Seeing all the different combinations is one of the things that makes no prep, RvsW, X275, etc so exciting to watch. Bruder's are a great example that it works. They've held and own championships in X275 over the years with turbo, Procharger and roots blower. They showed you can win with any of them if you have the experience and talent and the combination isn't the deciding factor.

Jamey Campbell it sure does still have Butler 482 with garbage Edelbrock heads on it still his $12-14k motor not including fuel system or turbos keeping up with motors that cost $50-70k
Dave Micolichek was 12k on their site if you assemble it yourself but I haven't looked on their site in 5-6 yrs
