- Big Chief heads into the finale of no prep kings in Ennis, Texxas looking for one more win before the season ends. The crow has been looking fairly strong and joined a short list of racers who have actually won a no prep kings event recently. Can Chief pull out more win before the season ends? Love or hate-em Chiefs one hell of a Tuner and I believe that's why Shawn hasn't been winning consistently since him and Chief split up because Chief used to help tune the Murder Nova.

Did anyone else notice the quarter panel paint damage during the race with Mike Murillo? Looks like the second hit on the wheelie bars shook some body filler loose.

Hell of a final pass by both. Big Chief was clipped, but that’s a solid run and that was all tune + driver.

It’s really amazing how fast Big Chief is considering that he’s had the same old Pontiac engine he’s had since day one and even before the television show Street Outlaws came out.
Just imagine how much faster he’d be with a 4,000+HP Proline setup ?

I would like to see a quarter mile run with you guys I know it's a different set up on your cars but I like to see that cars as fast as yous guys are in it you have to let off let's see what happens in the quarter

Chief and Ryan are really the only two that (knock on wood) don't slam the wall hard either maybe brush ..and Chief might lose a door from time to time lol But there very good at what they do that's for damn sure . 👍🏁

That's not the same 455 base motor from the beginning. That motor he runs now is more ls based. In bore & stroke

Big Chief winning with a Pontiac Motor is like racing LS cars with a Flathead Ford. He is a HUGE UNDERDOG. The true Spirit of a Hot Rodder. He is taking a motor that designed to run heavy stock cars down the road at low rpm and Rodding it into a Racecar.

Yes the Crow is a beast. I absolutely love the guys from 405 Oklahoma city. The fireball Camaro is another beast. I'm glad Murdernova is going to be at some of the No prep Races...

Big Chief is my favorite ever since I saw him race the first time, I've seen him get knocked early a few times when he comes back after that, that dude gives no mercy and even if off the line second he reams everyone unbelievable O don't know lots about racing, I've bee. A fan since a kid and after I went I th3 navy magnet watched until recently the Crow is the meanest car. PONITIAC GTO I believe looks like a 69 60 or 71. Great racer great car for sure watched him on the outlaw thing to my heart was pounding his got a scary powerful car no joke.
4:17 Paint on driver side rear fine. 5:07 Paint driver side rear looks like it was peeled off.
I can assure you this was all during the one weekend. Chief scraped the wall. They just painted the barriers orange for NHRA the weekend before.

Like him or not, Chief ALWAYS shows up to run hard. He's impecable at the tree and his "Crow" Pontiac almost always gets it done.
Why's he got to do such a long burnout. If I were the other racers, i'd complain about that. Every second counts when the only thing cooling the engines are ice water. I like Chief, don't get me wrong but he could do the same burnout without making a run while burning out.
@@gamecockmike175 He also reverses back into position at almost double the speed of others to compensate. He actually beats other racers that burn out half as long back to the line. It's really not a big deal dude.

@@markhamsj .... It is a 482in Butler racing engine that is roughly based on the Pontiac design. They "freshen up" these engines constantly and add new stuff. It is not near "the same old small block Pontiac".

@justoyz Yep haters, its about the 405. At least NPK is. In case you geniuses haven't noticed the series is literally listed under the same banner as the Street Outlaws TV show. This shit wouldn't even exist without the 405 as half, or more, of the people who watch this shit are watching it to see the 405 guys. Take out the 405 your no prep racing pretty much goes away.
@@jay5775 reaper started this series without most all of the 405 except for a few like Lutz, Chuck, and Ryan. All of the other drivers were trying to make a name and people liked it. It took off and he let pilgrim discovery in an then the rest of the drivers come aboard. No prep was running before this. I have been no prep racing sense 94. The 405 did get it to take off but once 405 street outlaws is done it ain't going no where. We have huge street races all over. I run in them and we have events at tracks all over that I run in with killer turn outs. Street outlaws goes away, yes a lot of fans will go but no prep aint going no where because it's bigger than them. If you get out here around east coast north Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and places it's big. The other thing JJ has a damn good turnout with fans and cars.

Never said the OG 405ers started no prep just that you will lose a huge chunk of your audience overnite, and probably the TV show, without them and I stand by that comment. No way to prove it but that is just my opinion and you are free to disagree it doesn't offend me. I'm not a delicate snowflake like these 405 haters. I am merely a fan who only watches this to see how the OG 405 guys are doing on the track. If they go away I will have no interest whatsoever. I am not interested in track racing in general, haven't been for many years now and I really only care about the 405 list racing portion of the show. Strictly street racing for me. This no prep thing is just a minor side show as far as I'm concerned. You can disagree but there are millions of us out there and we are eyes (and money) that help your sport. I'm sure you would just as soon have our attention and money right? Not saying the sport wouldn't survive but you will do so without millions of fans like me. However, I bet it won't be on TV if it does survive. My main beef is not with your opinions about no prep but the constant hate towards the 405 when the show is literally shown under the "STREET OUTLAWS" name. If people hate the 405 then just turn it off or start their own TV show without the 405 if they have enough mojo to pull it off. So let me clarify by saying the TV show will go away, not necessarily no prep in general. That is what I meant. And I think that is correct. IMHO. Regardless, I would think that millions of 405 SO fans, their millions of dollars, and a TV show to boot would be a huge boost to your sport but maybe I'm wrong.

I am with ya I don't get mad ether and as far as track, I only run it if it's a no prep other wise I run all of the street events and will travel to run in them. I don't care for regular track because a prep track anyone can run on that kinda surface where no prep and street is a tuner chassis guys race then hp. The tv show I've lost interest in because it's just a repeat of the same thing week after week.
