    Thanks for the video. It is good to know that flavoring bars are covered by the guarantee.

    Hey, thanks for the update. I have been looking to replace my 10 year old Weber 310 with one of these.

    I have the same issues with the flavorizing bars. I use the grill pretty often and I make sure to keep it clean and covered when not in use, so I'm glad its not something I'm doing. I had no idea these were covered w/ the warranty. Thanks for the vid, I'm going to see if they'll replace mine.

      Thanks for the comment! Keeping it clean and covered is the key to longevity! Good luck with the new bars!

    I bought mine six years ago in red and the only thing I've replaced are the flavorizer bars which Weber replaced for free and a battery for the stater. Great barbecue !

    I wish I would've seen this before I replaced my bars. I never imagined they would've been covered.

    I think your three videos are great and really appreciate the information. I’ve got a Char-Broil that I’m not really happy with because it never gets hot enough to sear, the so called infrared emitters are rusting through and the grates would never come clean and have rusted as well. Well just today I found the SPIRIT II E-210 GBS on sale for 329 Euros (I’m an American living in Germany). After seeing you videos I’m convinced that this is a really good grill and I’m going to trash my Char-Broil and order the Weber Spirit II.
    So a question I have is, how do you clean the grates after grilling because they appear to be in really great shape (no rust, etc.)?
    And thanks again for the great videos (liked and subscribed 😁).

    Quick tip. Rotate your flavorizer bars into that center position yearly allowing them to wear more evenly. This will extend the need maybe another year or two before reolacement. Especially if youre out if warranty.

    Thanks for the flavoring bar info. Trying to repair stuck control valve. Any tips on removing control panel cover?

    • @kitchenunderpressure179
      @kitchenunderpressure179  Рік тому

      Sorry for the late reply! If you pull off the plastic control knobs, there are screws on the metal panel underneath each knob. Then on the underside of the front metal panel at each side there is a screw. Remove all of them and you should be able to remove the panel cover.

    Thank you for your video... This really is good to show me how it goes with using a propane barbeque. I am a complete beginner as I have never used one, even though I am 79 years old. It would be great to cook outdoors now that I am following a carnivore lifestyle. Your unit does look pretty bad to me, as I am a perfectionist, but maybe this is just how it is with one of these. I thought about Weber because of the guarantee. Mine would have to be outside year-round in Canadian Winter... so... I just don't know, though I have looked at a Weber Traveler compact that I could fold up and put inside for Winter.

    Does this 2 burner grill do well with indirect grilling?

    Do you have or use the rotisserie attachment? Do you think the 2 burner gets plenty hot enough? Thanks for the good videos.

      My apologies on the late reply. Unfortunately, I can't comment on the rotisserie as I don't have one, but the 2 burner gets plenty hot for what I need.

    Really appreciate your commitment to doing another review after 4 years. I have been looking at getting into gas bbq game. The E-210 is a very strong contender as it's small and good price for the quality. Will most likely purchase it soon! I'm sure people will hate me but we've been happy with Weber Q1400 electric grill 😂 anyway, our kids are growing and a larger grill is required. Greetings from Finland!

      Those Weber grills are really nice, I call them the clam shell bbq, it should last a lifetime, I have the gas version, I see these grills being used on Fiji and Tahiti resorts.

    I just checked this model at Lowe’s today and it seems like the propane tank can now be tucked inside the lower center compartment. ???
    Should I get this or the portable Q?
    Just a family of 3.

      I had the Q series and, though it is a good BBQ, I'd definitely go with the Spirit model. Yes, I see the new models hide the tank. A welcomed feature.

    I hate my Weber Spirit. The flavourizer bars rust out quickly and rust flakes pop up into your food. The door falls off every time I use it. The nibs wore out -just plastic and won’t turn the controls and grease fires occur all the time due to the poor design and how grease builds up on the bars and interior belly.

    • @kitchenunderpressure179
      @kitchenunderpressure179  Рік тому

      My model is a little older and doesn't have a door. Not sure I agree with everything you mentioned as my bars took a few years to rust out, but the flavorizing bars definitely allow build up quite easily, which causes flare ups. They have to be scraped off before every use, which is kind of a pain.
