In today's video I got to revisit Fudan University, the place I used to study at over 8 years ago! Fudan University is considered a top 3 university in China, and one of the best in the world.

I went back to see the qinghua campus after 4 years a few months ago. Really nostalgic. Brought back so many memories.
If you can go back and see it, try to do it as soon as possible. The Beijing authorities are planning to move universities out of Beijing to solve the severe traffic congestion in the city. Maybe one day, Tsinghua will move to Xiong'an New Area.
Nice job. I was at Fudan, Physics’88. (We label each class by matriculation year, not graduation year). The campus and the whole area is completely unrecognizable to me. You made me want to come back to Shanghai to visit.

Chinese university canteens are heavily subsidized by the Chinese government. Foods are super cheap... Wish I can go back to my college days. :(
Only for student coz just like what the guy above said, it's heavily subsidized

@@Ifslayanct ah I don't think he mentioned a actual number. From google it says foreigners pay around a few thousand for tuition.
Great question. I actually attended Fudan from 2014-2016 on a scholarship. Specifically it was called the CSC SCHOLARSHIP and was from the Chinese government I think for foreigner students. It covered tuition, housing, and $500 a month stipend. Hope that helps!

all Chinese university are government ran and everything is heavily subsidized...
typically... as long as you scored enough to make it to one of these university, you are basically good to go...
you most likely don't have to worry too much about room and board, tuition or living expenses...
