Eddie Hazel is the only guitarist i've ever heard that I believe is the equal of Jimi Hendrix.

There are excellent guitar players and then there's excellent guitar players with excellent technique. Eddie Hazel falls in the latter. IMO his masterful technique contributed greatly to his sound. And I also hear some kind of flange of phase pedal too.

Nearly right, dude, but then Hendrix is my life!! This is on a par with Jimi’s live work on Message of Love (Fillmore East), Purple Haze (Berkeley), but IMHO not quite up with Machine Gun and Little Wing. Scholz, Greenwood, Santana, Isley, & Gilmour are up there, too. Having said that, I never get tired of this performance. Peace to all.

Let’s be honest. George interrupting this is the greatest mistake of all time in a live music performance... only saving grace is that he didn’t jump in sooner. Amazing, virtuosic display that reminds me of what someone once said about Jimi - when he plays, it feels like we’re flying with him. RIP, Eddie.

But I always felt something was strange about George Clinton and Eddie Hazel what I mean is I know Eddie was strung out on drugs and that’s a serious disease to say the least however it seems like once and he was playing in the 80s and when George Clinton discovered michael Hampton from Cleveland Ohio I feel like George Clinton thought he could actually get someone better than Eddie hazel and started to keep her Eddie from the limelight.
I'm a good researcher. It's a strength. I think I have pieced together why this performance was so rudely interrupted. I can't prove it, of course. However, the suspicions I have as well as others who love Eddie doesn't make for a "very good look," right now.
