The pilot was never supersonic. The cloud formation at time stamp 3:42 is a shock cone that occurs at transonic speeds...not supersonic. Another giveaway, there was no loud bang, car alarms going off, loud swearing and eerie silence afterwards indicating a pilots career imploding!
pilot's career imploding 😂
More clicks if you add "sonic boom"
@@kylrean3891 totally
A sonic boom doesn't always require a boom you inbred, a boom is a pressure wave passing you. There is so many videos on UA-cam explaining sonic boom and why you don't need to hear a boom for it to still be super sonic. However I agree that this pilot didn't go super sonic, you can get cloud build up due to pressure waves and moisture blah blah it's all confusing. But usually when the sound comes after the jet passing, that's the jet going faster than the speed of sound
*hence the sound traveling after the jet. You see the jet, it passes by, a second later is the sound. That's faster than the speed of sound. Common sense
How can the piolet stomach take it. Couldn't eat alot that day 😂
The photographer did a FABULOUS job. Absolutely fabulous.
Thanks @eliseb🙏👍
Except for the title
Yer apart from never breaking sound barrier.transsonic at best
Other than having their facts straight. LOL
Best camera man ever. This person should teach every camera person how to record
kudos to the pilot's skills in flying AND the ability to keep conscientiousness by not passing out. Those G forces are insane.
I was just thinking that !👍
Pilots get use to G's. Matter of fact the body gets so use to them it's very easy for pilots to handle 8 to 9 G's That's why they train all the time.
@@timbuckohfive2751 they were talking about G force, not the speed of sound or sound barrier..
Did you mean the quality of wishing to do one's work or duty well and thoroughly? Or did you mean "consciousness"?
I’m sure the pilot had a G suit on them. The suit has bladders that compress the lower body during high Gs to keep the blood from draining away from the upper body and head, thus helping the pilot from blacking out.
Wish everyone knew how to film like this. Great tracking!
It's edited?
@@davidjldr8249 I know, but it still looks really good.
Its not as easy, i tried recording jets at fleet week and it was unpredictable, and hard to keep up while zoomed in.
Damn I was thinking the same thing. I'm in Ft Lauderdale, we have a boat and we go out on the boat to watch the Air and Sea Show every May. I try my best to video the planes and I'm all over the place so I don't even try anymore. LOL
Where’s this kind of filming when the UFO’s show up lol
Didn’t hear the sonic boom. Incredible flying and filming, but I grew up in the early 1960’s near an Air Force base and wow do I remember those loud booms. As a child I was so startled and scared I would almost peed my pants! 😅 kept waiting to hear it on here but it never came.
Vapor cone is not sonic boom. You are correct.
5:40 the zoomed-in shot and the overcast sky almost make it look like it’s hovering. What a beautiful machine.
The F-35B could, in theory, hover for 12-14 min - the limit being turbine temperature. However, in the hover, it is generating 40,000 lb of dry thrust & can only carry ~ 7,000 lb of fuel - which would likely be the primary time-limiting factor.
@@moose5204 dang! That’s pretty amazing. When you say “in theory” do you mean it has never been attempted, but is possible based on the engineering and physics? Or has it been attempted, but failed for some reason?
@@AntiPlatitudethe f-35 can perform vertical takeoffs thanks to its directional engine, if you get the thrust right, it can hover
The F-35 is so luxuriously smooth and efficient. The sound of the engine ripping through the atmosphere is unlike any other jet engine from the past.
You mean efficient at disappear taxes 😅
Hold my mug of kerosene SU57 said )))
The F-35 is holding back its capabilities substantially, the way it flies is so effortless and graceful.

F-104's howl is amazing to witness
This feels like alien technology to me. Like it's genuinely insane that we've become capable of engineering such a thing
People are blind! A lot of wickedness going on that everyone see’s and hears about but just moves on with their day. Alien technology is real
And we are still using air and fuel to propel. Just like we are still using explosives for a gun.
🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂😂
And then there are Balloons 🎈
agreed
Amazing camera skills. Great footage
Thanks
Probably one of the loudest and most thunderous jets I've ever had the pleasure of seeing in person.
I would have to agree, I live here in Oahu, Hawaii and I was working on Kapilina Beach Homes where all planes fly over decending to land in Honolulu Airport, so I hear F22s all the time, occasionally F16s, and I would have to say the F16 is louder than the F22, but one day I was like wtf is that?! I ran outside and looked up... I was like a F35 holy sh*t that's fucking loud and it was decending going slow speeds.... I could imagine with afterburner on.
ever experienced the Tornado at low altitude?
No not yet atleast. I'm from the U.S. so it'd be pretty rare to see one of those. @@matteogorza4681
Mmmm... Have a listen to the old English electric lightning !
What a performance. While off the coast of Diego Garcia, my ship received a similar show, but there was a sonic boom. It was as if the pilot was performing for his children. Stellar camera work. Bravo

There’s just something about a fighter jet snappy movement and rolling that’s so satisfying for me

Absolutely phenomenal filming of what is a spectacular aircraft. Well done. 🇺🇸

That was the most majestic thing I’ve seen all day!
Incredible Photography!!!!...this aircraft is unlike anything out there...to see this aircraft live is absolutely awe inspiring.
Have the privilege of seeing Major Wolfe this past weekend and let me tell you….. you have to be there to feel just how powerful that engine is!
Some excellent photography there, well done. But at no time did it break the sound barrier.
Pra que?

@@crisbrown1788 did you even read the title of the video? It literally says sonic boom, which never happened in this video.
Tout simplement divin😎😍🙏Merci beaucoup Stéphane pour ce partage exceptionnel car les images et le son 😍whaou🎉
Sonic boom, my arse! There's eight minutes of my life that I'll never get back. Jeez!

Pretty amazing showing. Great job whoever was filming that flight.👍👍
No Boom! Really good camera work especially around 5:40, and increadible piloting skills.
One of the greatest feat of human engineering.
Little disappointed he didn't go supersonic but great video. That thing is sexy and seriously punches a hole in the sky.
Amazing footage! Longest video of the F 35 I've seen
That transonic shot was 👌🏻 no supersonic here, but its so damn cool!
Back in the early 1980’s when the Concord was still flying. I was over 100 miles offshore on a fishing trip. The Concord was at extremely high altitude. I could hear multiple sonic booms as it flew over the fishing boat. Pop pop pop pop. I guess the Concord being at such a low altitude. I could just hear the sonic booms. When I moved to East Central Florida close to Cape Canaveral. The Space Shuttle was coming in to land. The Sonic Boom it made shook my house. At first I thought a bomb went off and then soon realized it was the Space Shuttle. Now I hear regular Sonic Booms when the Space X first stage rocket actually lands upright. It is annoying but that is life.
Bro imagine you’re on the battlefield and you just see the distinct shape of an F35 or F22 and it circled and was coming right at you. That just intimidation right there
What an airplane and what a professional that we have flying it. God bless them.
I don’t know of anyone has made this comment. But the camera work is phenomenal 👌🏾. Never lost the jet, smooth focusing throughout. Nice 👍🏾
Thanks
Some a' that low angle sunlight in this video made some gorgeous shots possible.
I honestly was waiting for that loud bang though!
From 1:08 is just beautiful - left-hand roll into right turn, nice sequence.
3:49 i cant imagine how many G's that pilot took, absolutely incredible🔥
What do you think? Maybe somewhere in the 6’s? Higher? Lower?
@@AntiPlatitudei think higher
@@vincentiussakunyart you may be right. Either way, all in a day’s work for this pilot.
They can go around 9 G's
The pilot, FYI, is a little girl named Kirsten Wolfe.

Man that is one beautiful plane.
Quelle chance d'avoir pu y assister ! Magnifiques images merci Stéphane !
But...there's no sonic boom on the video tho 😶
exactly, accurate descriptions seem seldom these days don't they
Of course there isn't, the plane is not allowed to go 750 miles per hour.
I know people will say f-22 is better but man watching the f35 is amazing.
This might be the best demo I’ve seen yet for this jet! Salute to the pilot
The F-35, to me, is the most gorgeous jet ever created so far.
I have to give that title to the B-2 and F-22
I agree! Just so smooth and sleek!

I grew up watching the Thunderbirds practice right over my front yard, every day, for fifteen years. I have seen some maneuvers. That pilot was having fun.
Many thanks to the wonderful producers
Imagine not knowing that supersonic flight isn’t allowed at airshows and that the vapor cone can be seen in transonic flight too
? Yeah that's not common knowledge to the majority of people, as most people do not know the "rules and regulations" for air shows, let alone watch them enough to come to the conclusion.
I Have LOVED That SOUND since I was Kid.
Wow! What an aircraft!! I love the F35!

Modern day suits of armor. I wonder how many man-years of R&D for all the components, as well as to build one of these Fighters. Truly Impressive.
The F-35 is so luxuriously smooth and efficient
I don’t like the F-35 initially. However, the more I see it and learn about it the greater my admiration grows.
Wow! Incredible. Great Video recording!...
Thanks @kindbluey
This is a testament to technology, at first I was gonna say this is some great game capture footage because the graphics are so good, but then I stopped being able to tell either way because the piloting is so smooth AND the tracking is great. Crazy technology and effort.
Thanks, Stumpy, for taking the words right out of my mouth. 30 years in the air show biz so I know whereof I speak when I say sonic booms are not permitted at US air shows. Too many videos on UA-cam claim to show them, all obviously posted by folks who know not what they speak of.

The pilot took around 8-9 G forces without passing out
The pilot, according to the description, was Major Kristin 'Beo' Wolfe. She did a phenomenal job!
Magnífico!
It just looks like a dagger cutting through the air. An amazing feat of engineering.
Great videography! Still waiting for the sonic boom... And a Raptor would be icing
First time witnessing an 8 minute + sonic boom . Still a great demonstration
😂👏👏👏
Just without the sonic boom
Sonic Boom or not this is one of the best recordings of an F - 35 Demo by Major "Beo Wolfe".
Was that her or was that the navy f35 demo team? There is two teams yanno . I just saw beo Wolfe fly here in Westfield and she didn’t push it like this video whatsoever .
i wish wolfe could try the carrier variant, the low speed high angle of attack on that is incredible
came here for the sonic boom..still waiting for the sonic boom.
sadly, there was no sonic boom.
I love the wingtip vortices when it turn
The pilot's helmet display, combined with various external sensors, gives the pilot the sensation that the aircraft is invisible from the cockpit.
So the the experience would be like Wonder woman flying her invisible jet?
@Chrit S I heard on Ward Carroll's UA-cam channel that pilots refer to the F-35 as the invisible jet.
The f35 helmet is absolutely bonkers don't they cost something like almost half a mil a piece and they are tailor made for each pilot too I think right? I still think the f22 raptor reigns supreme I mean we don't even sell the f22 to our allies haha
@@chrits3396 it’s basically like a drone flying a drone with VR but it can: zoom in and have night and thermal vision. I got to try it out at this air show because I know the host and did volunteers work there.
False.
Great video. Imagine being the pilot sustaining these Gs and controlling this beautiful machine.

Meanwhile in the background:- “And I say oooo I’m blinded by the lights”.
Stunning record Stephane. Well Done!
Not a supersonic boom - just a transonic shock come, it would be headline news and the end of several careers if a pilot flew supersonic low level over a crowd. It’s a common myth that the cone is a supersonic boom

Great video.👍🏻👍🏻 But no sonic boom😢
Where’s the sonic boom dude?
There is none. Sonic boom is illegal to pull off over land unless under special circumstances. For example, Edwards Air Force Base in California brought back it's airshow late 2022 and the sound barrier was broken multiple times throughout the day at anywhere from 30,000-45,000 feet (different heights in that range) due to the base being isolated as it was made for testing experimental aircraft

F/35 is one Air Superiorty and bass jet the adavsary doesn't want mess with F/35 is a fully Loaded flying Machine!
the maneuver at 7 28 was insane! didnt know a jet could do that! i dont understand why people hate on this jet! its almost like they have flown it before! seeing it in person changes people's opinions. excellent camera work by the way.
The reason why lots of people hate the plane is because the plane has needed tons of fixes and it's way over budget, but most problems with the jet are fixed, and it's about miss information now.

I would give this a thumbs down for the inaccuracy of title ("clickbait") but my love for the F-35 forbids me from doing so. No way a USAF or Navy pilot would ever break the sound barrier for an air show!

"F-35 performs awesome Vapor Cloud" should be the actual title. A sonic boom is heard if the aircraft flies past at speeds greater than sound. This was subsonic or transonic at best. Do your research before giving misleading titles. Reported.
