"The iBR TGV Delete for the 2015+ WRX platform is a complete one piece TGV delete. Unlike any other product on the market these aluminum parts replace both the TGV assembly and the plastic lower section of the intake. The lower plastic divided section creates a large restriction due to both reduction in cross section as well as increasing the amount of surface area per cross section of airflow. Traditional TGV deletes only remove the main TGV assembly. This one piece replacement also reduces the amount of sealing surfaces and thus eliminates one more place for a boost leak to occur. Lower sealing surface is machined for OEM seal ring."

If you already have a regular TGV you can get away without a tune but you won’t get the full power benefits.

For those already tuned w/ traditional TGV deletes, do the 1 piece full deletes increase airflow over those? What I'm getting at - is a re-tune recommended?
A recalibration is highly recommended.
Is there any gasket on the bottom of the intake manifold between it and the IBR TGVD? Do you reuse what's already there?
What do you do with those oem dividers (3:12) after getting the full IBR tgv deletes? Is it better to keep them on there or not ?

joey heckel you can do it whenever you want, you just need a e tune or dyno tune for it, I would recommend getting egr delete and Grimspeed EBCS also. Phatbotti Tuning has a really helpful article on their faq on their website that explains everything a hell of a lot better than me.

I tried installing my ibr tgv today and I was having a hard time installing the passenger side. Did you remove any other bolts besides the intercooler and bolts for the tgv? your manifold looks like it goes up higher compared to mine when lifting it. Please help, Thank you

phatbotti is a funny man, changes your timing and knock so late that you hit "400whp on stock engine and turbo" but you only get that boost at late rpm. Dude fucked up my buddies 2016 wrx with that shit

Yes. Most people have taken them out from what I've seen.
I also noticed that your valves look pretty smooth for almost 25k miles after blasting it. Would you say that’s thanks to the AOS?
