- It's a new generation of NERF NUGGET.
It's always a possibility every time you plug a foreign device into a USB port: you get that data connection in Windows and suddenly your USB powered coffee warmer has just transferred 69 terabytes of anime girl pictures straight into your hard drive. The last thing I expected when I plugged this NERF watch in was a Malware Worm to try and infect my computer... but that's just another gift from Hasbro! Oh yeah the watch has like, games and stuff on it. Some minor shenanigans.

Decided to look up the malware. The malware Gamarue is a botnet from 2017-2018 that spreads via, among other ways, infected USBs. This things been sitting in a warehouse for possibly a lonnggg time!

If you haven't already thrown it away yet, you should keep the watch on the target range, so that you can continuously shoot it in future videos. That would be a fitting use for it

To be fair, this would have been a fun gadget 20 years ago, because it has the same type of games and applications that phones of that period used to have.
The funniest Nerf branded product for me is the Nerf bath set containing knockoff Super Soaker Zipfires. The Nerf scooter comes with knockoff magazines as well. Hasbro really will give the Nerf licence to anyone.

That thing is an ANCIENT rebrand. I bought a SECOND HAND girls version of a toy like that for my niece more than 4 years ago at a Yard Sale and it was like from 2014-2015 and it has the SAME hardware and low res screen and bad camera but it was like $5 and my niece had fun having a smart watch like her mom's and listening to her favorite Disney music that I loaded on it for her, but that one DIDN'T have Viruses

Damn dude, I hope memory/storage still works. Regardless of it being from Hasbro chances are the internals and system is just white labeled trash off ali express or temu that were shelled into Nerf plastic meaning the possibility of it actually being a worm is higher than 0. The fact alone it gave a false positive is pretty bad for them especially if a parent who knows nothing about computers sees it. Probably taking it a bit too serious but good find either way, kinda like if G1 transformers diecast used lead and lead paint xD
