Mount this thing on a golf cart, or the little nerf cart if youre into that
Add multiple storage points for extra chain, lr even put them all together
Add shields to it
Become an unstoppable box of high firerate plastic
If you can afford it you might want to print them out of a more rubbery filament to prevent them from breaking when stepped on.
@@Thoriumplatypus5263 That's definitely smarter. I can get about 240 rounds off one roll of filament, but I've already lost some sections of chain because they print-in-place and can snap connectors.

I bet that someone will make an m2 browning style box and tripod for this at some point, I can only imagine the sheer suppressing power of having a 200 or 300 dart belt and box

Oh my word!!! This is the one thing I have been waiting for from the nerf community. Ever since the Nerf Vulcan came out which I bought several, I have wished someone other than nerf would make a Hobby Grade version. I mean Lipo powered, chain fed, a high fire rate, and a FPS of at least 120 and most of all it has to take Half Length Darts because they are made for a blaster like this given how little space they take up compared to standard full length darts. The closest thing we had until today was the Nerf Prometheus, which is an Amazing blaster and arguably one of the Best automatic blasters ever made by Nerf or anyone else. I have two of those. But I still wanted something like the Prometheus but with half lengths rounds and that means either a huge drum or chain fed with a large ammo box. In Fortnite my staple go to gun in Creative Mode maps is the LMG. There's nothing like an M-60 or a Squad Automatic Weapon. It's just a cool looking weapon. I'm beyond thrilled by this. I think this will go down as my favorite video by Walcom till the end of time. I think I will download this and keep it forever to memorialize the occasion. I absolutely must get my hands on this at some point!!!
I think most of my dreams about the future of Nerf have already come true. I grew up at a time when Nerf guns were single shot and pathetically weak which is why I got into modding at an early age. Now all that remains for the Nerf Community to invent is a true Nerf Shotgun. One that fires a cluster of projectiles like a real shotgun. Perhaps using the new Nerf Hyper rounds. I used to pack some plastic bbs into a modified paintball gun and fire a spread of blaster mayhem but to date no one has ever developed a nerf gun that fires a dozen projectiles at once.
I would also love to see a Nerf Cannon that fires a cluster of rival balls. Perhaps 25 or 30 of them packed into a large barrel that's air powered or has a massive spring.
Finally I would love to see a Nerf minigun that fires half length darts. That may not be far away. I saw the prototype for a real nerf mini gun demonstrated on this very channel and I've messaged the designer and he has made some improvements since then. I do believe the current iteration fires full length darts but it's FPS and rate of fire are literally insane. I mean a Bat Crazy ridiculous rate of fire that shouldn't even be possible. So it wouldn't take much in the way of an intuitive leap to go from that to something that can fire half lengths at a blistering rate like this gun you just demonstrated.

This Nerf blaster existence will only mean thing. John Rambo will show up on a Nerf War and draw first blood on the battlefield.
The partial disintegration reminds of the limes of the PKM and RPD. Their belts are in 25 round sections to combine the reloadability of non-disintegrating belts with the ease of use of disintegrating belts.
Wonder if there's a shell to ressemble a heavily stylized PKM.

Yeah I didn't even know about it until after I streamed that HBM-23. I think the MHP LMG will be more popular but I think the HBM-23 is going to have its fans.

I think the next step would be to use a more powerful motor. I think it needs to get at least 120 FPS. It might not be bad idea to design a 50 or 60 round compact dart drum you can easily switch out with another one clipped to a Webb belt and a bipod with 180 tilt and a swivel to go up and down 60 degrees. Put all that together in one package and it could be completive in a straight up fight.
Have you tried adding a laser sight to help with aiming so that way you can see where the darts go before firing
I do but I'd gave to sight it in for every blaster. I just got one, tried to use it for that purpose, it's currently a maybe. As for actual play, no games allow lasers. Safety stuff.

BRO YOU CAN JUST UNSCREW THE FAKE BARREL AND STOCK AND ITS TINY its smaller than a normal primary without the barrel and stock now THAT would be sick
The grip would honestly be the easiest thing to fix, you literally just need to splice models and the printer does the rest.
The way the triggers and wiring is setup it would need an entirely new design.
@@WalcomS7 you only need to trim the bulk without touching the hollow bits, i already know how im going to do it because i think it looks ugly. It's not going to be difficult, I assure you. barely an inconvenience.

I wonder if they would be willing to share the CAD files. I want to filled some edges to make it less pointy and more comfortable to grip. Don't plan on selling them. Just remixing it.

How to dual master that blaster, it's really cool because if I can duel weld the nerf light machine gun, it would be over kill.
Hear me out make an INSANELY big box and a large tripod and also use the stock connector to put handles and buttons and connect it to the trigger so it will be a large turret also you can put a shield on it too
I have the opposite problem of whoever designed this blaster, he seems to have lots of 3d printing knowledge and not a whole lot of 3d modelling knowledge where as I can model some really cool unique blaster parts ready to print but can never get my ender 3 to print anything lol

like picture a pump action shotgun that uses a massive single barrel to fire 8 rival rounds or half darts, or a pump action double barrel that fires 3-4 rival rounds or half darts from each barrel, that would be utterly bonkers
