Not to mention a so-called winner is a useful and educational philosophy. In my opinion, in general, people are too often looking for the best wine. It is precisely because of this that interesting and surprising wines are overlooked. It is highly questionable whether that best wine actually exists. Perhaps the most interesting, the best, most beautiful, etc. wine presents itself in different ways. At different, perhaps unexpected moments. Moreover, it often depends on personal preferences and taste development (experience). Nice, three interesting different Chardonnay's! And with a nice dish, the wines are likely to present themselves more balanced and complete. "Food friendly type wine." Totally agree Tony!
marcus: I try to focus on differences because if all 3 are great wines, then how do you pick one over another if you having pasta or just drinking by itself or if you want oaky? Cheers!
I’ve been exploring Chardonnay this summer as well. I’m not a fan of the buttery profile so I’m staying away from US producers and sticking with Burgundy
I stuck it out in the Little Engine wine club for a few years, but I feel like the QPR on their wines is quite poor. The winemaking style just isn't for me, as well, especially in hot vintages. Blue Mountain absolutely slaps, especially the reserve and single vineyard PN and Chard.
Nice idea and video. Congrats!
😀😀

doublewides: try Cambria...I think it is a nice balance in terms of oakiness. Cheers!

bentobox: I agree....I hope slaps is a positive term! Cheers!
@@TrophyWineHunter Oh yes haha, I very much mean it in a positive way- will be down in OK Falls this weekend, maybe I’ll even tell them myself 😂
