I enjoy this videos, I have a question, is there a way to slow the aging process for humans and prevent dementia/Alzheimer's? Please respond

1 type of Alzheimer is called Diabetes type 3. Diabetes type 2 is curable and preventable and since the cause is bad food it means Alzheimer's is preventable. Not necessarily curable as at some point in time the damage to the brain is to big to cure, but better diets have definitely shown to give an improvement in the situation and slowing down the progress.

@@jo-han So diabetes causes Alzheimer's, is there any recommended food or lifestyle to have to avoid it

@@Bolypius Yes, low carb lifestyle. The youtube channel lowcarbdownunder has 9 years of academics giving presentations on their research with over 400 video's detailing why their research proves most of their theories (they also nicely point out where there research isn't sufficient yet).

Yes that might be a bit much to check, but hey I started 3 years ago and haven't seen everything yet, but I've seen about a hundred video's and it greatly increased my understanding of how food is digested and what is or is not bad food.
Since you are specifically interested in Alzheimer I suggest to search for Alzheimer / dementia / neurodegeneration within that channel and then start with a video of which you find the title interesting. Then just research the topics mentioned, and please do check and read the research that they reference (yep more work... :) ). Somehow in this day and age, you cannot rely on somebody referencing research to actually represent that research correctly. You need to check whether what you've understood from their presentation (which is a representation of a representation of how they understood something) is actually still consistent with the source. I've done that consistently over the past years and I find that this channel has over 95% correctly tried to explain me in normal terms what research says in academic terms for as far as I understand the academic research.
When diving into a subject I usually at first also avoid video's of which I don't understand the title (example for me: ApoE4 Boulder, what is that? :) ) and first watch the video's with understandable titles. There is always a later in which the more complex video's can be watched after first getting up to date on the basics.
One tiny tidbit of information I remembered about alzheimer is one of them referencing that someone caring for their parent with alzheimer gave that parent a teaspoon of Coconutoil with every meal and the patient made notable improvement. The key takeaway from that presentation was to not at all be scared of fats, because part of the alzheimer's disease problems is lack of fat in the brain / neurons in general.
If you have specific questions later (even years from now, I have alerts on for youtube replies), feel free to ask.

@@jo-han thank you, I am very big on a research about solving dementia, Alzheimer's and diseases, because sooner in the next 30 years I will have to battle it , and I feel like the only one worried, I am really happy I met a person like you, also thanks for the UA-cam channel recommendation, I will check them out. The teaspoon of coconut oil is plausible, part of Alzheimer's disease is the lack of fat in the brain , true I feel like as dementia (the slow decline to nothingness) comes cells wear out, and neurons damage and stuff, which can be a contributing factor.
