This is my favorite Cranberries song.
This is Delores pouring out her heart and soul about being homesick. Written while touring America from a hotel room about missing her mother country, Ireland and all the values and sensibilities she was accustomed to with her family and loved ones. Just beautiful. I can’t listen to without shedding tears, partially because I know Delores is gone, she’s never coming back, and her passing so young and the way she went is such a tragic blow to the music world.
I love this song so much, Just the whole vibe and message, I would love to see more people in the world writing songs like this about the love of their families and childhood, those of course who had some time goods just love and light overall, love The Cranberries and Dolores
