    Any video like this without
    Datsyuk is wholly incomplete.
He was the Merlin of this.

Na he was extremely slow footed , he was clean on breakaways but he only could dangle for possession it was never to create short burst breakaways to the net because he didn’t have the foot speed to create separation after he did the hezi toe drag that he would do .

But what if I am saving all my Datsyuk clips for a single, amazing, mind blowing video?

It’s not “exposing” the puck bud , you’re puttting the puck into open space to accelerate into the area n your trying to bait the defense into switching his hips around to think he needs to start to get ready to chase rather then keep angling me towards the boards . A lot of time your doing it just to skate into them and blow your own rush up because you think you can get him to bite on staying with you and not the puck and catch him making a mental mistake and get the interference call for it …sometimes you’re baiting but that’s literally for a split second bud you just are doing it do get the d to commit their hips and put their weight on the balls of the feet instead of their heels , that’s when you cut back into the direction you were baiting because you will have them reaching and over commited and without the ability to flip their hips in time to keep angling you into the boards like they were trying too . I liked the video tho, if you wanna see how the build speed in stride without having to life your skate of the ice it’s a tool that has been used for years and literally the people who can do it at a high level will play in the league because it’s a cheat code for skating that’s a lot of coaches and trainers never knew about till recently now they all are doing for power skating in the summer , you just work on c cuts with only your inside edges one leg at a time up and down the ice don’t lift you skate off the ice , start without a puck get the mechanics make sure your shifting your hips all the way over on both sides one leg and cut should push you to the other side of your body you interval the push to stop at 60 degrees and then push with your other leg with c cut back into the direction you just came , then work you way up short burst c cuts weight only on the heels of your blades and bouncing hour weight off your heel for explosion it’s a fast explosive cut , it’s hard to explain I don’t know if there is any videos on UA-cam see if yin can find it it’s a game changer for speed and shifting in the neutral zone

@@conscious_hockey I have to assume he is referencing the Draisaitl segment around 2:30. But I wouldn't put too much in to it, given the context of his word vomit, it reads like a run-on sentence design to show how much smarter he is than you. Whether "exposing", "putting the puck into open space", or whatever label you want to give it, it's the same idea. Given what I can decipher, he is clearly one of the best players at the highest level because he knows all the cheat codes. I throughly enjoy everything I've seen on this channel so far. Your skills of deduction and the process with which you dissect and explain everything is a blessing. I can't wait to watch what you have in store for us. *cough*Datsyuk video mentioned above*cough*
