well in this concert, the CD had been released like 9 days only, so most of the people didn't know this song well or not, so thats why, lol, but yeah its funny

there's a difference between losing her voice and not having the chance to display what she has, she hasnt lost anything she has chosen to sing differently, just like she chose to dress differently... fantasy was when she was transitioning and then by the butterfly album she finally transformed into more of what we see today... take a listen to all those songs b4 she changes her singing style a little bit.
It's called playback. They play a backing track but believe you me that Mariah is singing over the top of the playback. It helps to give the voice substance and makes it sound full. It's a fairly common strategy that the majority of professional live artists use. This is not lipsynching - there is a difference. Even Beyonce uses playback.

Well if shes screaming, then its not a whistle. Belting/Screaming/Falsetto/Whistling are very different techniques. I dont think Christina whistles and if she does, she doesnt do it often.
