Is this her only live version of this song? The others I've seen looked and sounded completely lipped. This is the first one where it sounds 100% live, including the climax whistle. Holy.. what power.

Gerard Partridge well...you know...i do still listen to her songs. But more her older songs one. from TEOM album and other older albums. I do miss the very light and hesven-reaching tone that she used to have. admittedly she is older now and her voice deepened and sounds more LOUD than heavenly reaching but...yeah...her singing abilities (albeit the tone [to me] is inferior to her prime...but that's why the word prime exits anyway) is still very very admirable. I wish I could sing like her. and have her vibrato from her prime .

Sometimes people thinks that she is lypsinging becouse her voice is changing in high notes and is diferent too her facial expretion, but this is because she is using mixed voice in high tones, is an inpostation, not hard, and in this video she sings live, her notes are not totally perfects in little details (so smalls)... why she can use playback not perfect?? She singing high notes imposting her voice, this is all.
Baby Nhox 77 plese! all good singer using mixed voicee!! Celine Dion, Barbra streisand, Bruno Mars, Michael Jackson, the difference is that Mariah is not pure in her technique (like 90's she was so perfect) but she can sing with a good technique like she do it all chrismas, i dont know why in not pure now in her concerts, but you can hear the impostation in her voice for example in without you, she sings so different, but is not a comercial sound in this times becouse is more classical, but she can sing high notes, is not hard.
