As a pro vocalist myself, color me impressed. I had (have❤) a very good friend in an ARISTA group that got us front row & afterpartéé seats at Whitney's tour in the round, early 90s. At her peak. Even as good (as we thought we were, lol), our jaws LITERALLY never left the floor. And had soo much genuine, industry, gossipy chat after. I still catch a tear, but oh so grateful to my besties in Exposé for that magic. Anyway, Trinity, you had me w you all the way! The only thing I wondered (& maybe it's just vocally impossible, lol) was I was waiting for, counting on, the final "all the man, all the maa-eeyaheeyaheeyaheeyaan, whoo"! bit at the end. Again, I used to have a Whitney falsetto that could belt out a "Didn't We" Live, but I could never get that riff on this tune. Was this a choice, or do you, like me, just not possess those whack global stops that allowed her to DO that?!? No shade AT ALL, much love, fabulous!
