Halito chim achukma *African Dominican* Very intelligent interview from both of you, because both of you aren't researchers of North America, so both of you only know what's being taught in schools today. I am well older than the both of you and probably older than your parents. I noticed You said in writing: Correction "some, not most"... And you are correct with that statement. Mam' when you figure out how wooden boats could sail thru a hurricane ocean with hundreds of chained people at the bottom for 2 to 3 months, women on their monthly cycle, how much food and water, etc... and no ports in between for boat repair, you will find the education you're receiving in America is fraudulent. This Hollywood slavery is insulting, but if you foreigners actually sat and think about it, I'm sure with the right books, documentation and news articles from the 1600s to the 1800s before Reconstruction of America 1865 which they dare not teach in schools today, because it would only expose their lie and how they took control of the government. It's best to keep you all confused and my own indigenous Ame'Rican people as well. We're waking up tho, because it's my job to continue posting old documentation to my people. Plus there's millions us on the first U.S. 1790 census as Indian then Negro, then Colored, then Black, no other ethnic group in America has had a change in identity as the original inhabitants of North America, but the American Negroid Indian. I'm sharing your video for edification purpose only. I do have my own channel. Yakoke ohoyo aho

Our journey didn't begin in Africa . We the slave children are from Israel. In 70 AD we ( True Israelites) fled over the Atlas Mt into Africa ,over 1 million of us, we established our own cities,,had our culture and History in tact. Now the bible says in Deut 28v68 what will happen again if we don't listen to our God and follow his laws and statutes and commandments. Haven said this,in America you guys should be able to see the destruction and delusional foolishness from slavery until this day,why our original name was changed to colored, Negros, black, African America, there is No such persons. The propaganda against us to confuse a specific need, for us ( the chosen seed of God) to fulfill prophecy, and its coming to pass as we type. It's not about Africa it never was, they know " WHO" we are....all this back to Africa there is no push back on that, but if we say we're Gods portion, the Apple of his eye, we're liars, if we want to honor our God, Jesus aka Cesare Borgia is pushed ,big Joke. I AM THAT I AM, AHAYAH is His True name, our God,and there is No other. Yashaya is our king, and Savior. These are Hebrew names because, before all this we knew our God,culture, History, language and promises, blessing. The name changed to bring about confusion ,lack of knowledge, self destruction, peace, household fulfillment as one. Am I telling the truth.

Africans already know that Americans are not Africans so why do Africans get mad when we tell them that we are not. Make it make sense.
I'm always curious how well people listen to themselves. Stop saying AAs don't identify as African. That's very few, not all of us think that way. There is such a disconnect to the AA experience. We're in America trying not to die while learning our Black American history along with learning about African countries we feel a connection to... That's different from someone who immigrates from Africa who enjoys the fruits of our labor and not take the time to understand and innerstand why that's possible.

She literally answered her own question. She identifies as SUDANESE AMERICAN! She was taught to care about her literal country where her family still has connections to. Many of us here in amerikkka only know America. If we didn’t have our history and culture stripped away then we would have the energy to care about African countries bc our families would have connections to it. That’s why amerikkka tries to influence us into thinking we have no connections to any other place in the world. She is judging on the surface but she isn’t notating the layers that’s involved with why it appears that “we don’t care”. We are learning and growing everyday and we will eventually get there.
@@youuknow4670 right on! Learn the truth about your history in the Americas. Ws wants us to look somewhere else while they continue to rob us of our lineage.
Why be shocked when all African Americans know is America. We aren’t the same just like African tribes don’t know about tons of other African tribes. Harriet Tubman & them are their ancestors too !
That's the sad reality.. The pink skin nations practice a global exchange with each other and maintain their global connections. We need to do the same for our diaspora, Africa has to unify as one with themselves and then abroad.
Literally we are all the same through Haplogroup E1b1a. No, not all of us were just in Africa, we travelled to different continents as well. Either the lands split, or we travelled with boats, definitely not slavery though. We just need to get some land and some depending on this bullshit government.
Can't name 5 countries in Africa??.. as if we Black Americans aren't educated Nigeria, Ghana, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Senegal, Kenya, Sudan, Egypt, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Somalia, Botswana, Ivory Coast Cote D'Ivoire, Democratic Republic Of Congo, Liberia, Rwanda, should I go on respectfully u have to understand ,we Black Americans don't have no history to Africa nor was we raised in the continent. we had to build our own history and culture from scratch! I wish more people respect that instead of telling us we don't know where we are from without understanding our pain and history that we were forced to create.
You could’ve just googled that (trolling) 😂😂. But I know the ancient names of African kingdoms and nations. Still can’t blame us though when a little under a century ago we were told we have no History, a few years after that we were told that whites rescued us from savage Africans who were uncivilized and a few years after that told that the continent was diseased, war-torn and extremely poor. Sht we were banned, jailed, killed and tortured for reading or writing, even white were persecuted and punished for attempting to educate blacks.
The first slave ship came to what is now known as America over 400 years ago. So called Black Americans are so far removed from the continent of Africa it's dumb to even ask us these questions. How come I never see videos like this at other so called Black groups that were apart of the slave trade? It seems like everyone always wants to ask these same questions to Black Americans, but never Caribbeans, or Afro Latinos/Latinas.
AFRICANS need to do their history on America, who built it, and who was already here before they arrived, and how they are able to get into America so easily!! Maybe then they will learn about the different tribes of "black americans" that were already here. And who fought for them to get here when no one else wanted them here! Peace!!!
Funny you bring a separation, Africans built America, they left the shores as Africans and were given a new identity in America,Africa provided the labour that built America did African Americans fall from the sky, technically without Africa the story of the Americas would be very different all the way from Brazil to the United States

It's so silly for non-Americans to think Americans, Black or otherwise, should be knowledgeable about specific countries in Africa. Africa has not been relevant to Black Americans in centuries! I've seen 1st generation African immigrants not know aspects of their culture and they're 1 generation removed! Imagine your people going through a genocide/ethnocide AND being 10 generations + removed! Not to mention, these African "countries" didn't exist when our ancestors were sold away from those regions. We have zero family members and zero ties to the continent as it stands. They need to get over that! I've seen too many videos of Black Americans traveling and moving to Africa, you can't fool me. I know native Africans are largely uneducated about the world outside of them (and about themselves, the schools are terrible) and African immigrants would never expose that like they do Black Americans. African immigrants need to be careful. You'd be a fool to create enemies of the people who are rooted in the country you're a guest in.
To become rooted in your colonizer and your oppressors is clearly a disaster, especially when your colonizers and oppressors are not rooted in you but maintain psychologicallly rooted in the lands that they are disconnected from. The vast majority of these pink people don't know who or where they came either along with many of them being mixed with various pink an off pink nations.. However they maintain a psychological connection to their would be origins.

Great Interview. I moved to Florida at age 9, from East Africa, and I have lived in Amerikkka for close to 40 years. I remember the kids in Middle school through high school would ask me if I owned a pet Lion and a Tiger. I honestly thought they were joking 🙃, however, that is the deliberate miseducation of the African American child. It’s gotten a lot better over the years, however, it always saddens me to see black people more interested in Europe rather than their own motherland. We seem more concerned about the war in Ukraine rather than instability in the DRC. I always encourage African Americans to travel to the motherland and experience the love ❤️ they will receive from their brothers and sisters on the continent. Your next vacation should be in Africa. It’s your birth right. Thank you for the video!!
Sorry but a non-FBA perspective doesn’t validate anything in this interview. She needs to bring this type of interviewing to those who in the topic at hand. So she should’ve interviewed FBAs and not a non-FBA with an non-FBA perspective on what FBAs could give knowledge, insight and perspective on. Something tells me she didn’t bother to do research on actual black american history and how a yt supremacist system set in place in america has yt-washed the history books in america, limiting black americans to learn true history about their roots. And even now they are trying to ban CRT from being taught in schools. And even florida’s governor is trying to ban AP african american history classes to even being a curriculum. So if they have been doing this in history for decades and even trying ban CRT and AP african American history courses, what makes y’all think they will literally try to have an african history class in schools? Y’all need to really pay attention and understand that everything that african americans are today is because how this country’s history in yt-supremacy has completely ruined the chances of african americans being able to know their roots fully. And nowhere has african americans been interested more in european history than african history. European history literally was the basis of history classes in public and even private schools all across america. So stop with that BS as well.
What we were taught in American history has been found to be a lie. We are not of African descent. We are Indigenous Americans and Black Europeans that were exiled from Europe to the Caribbean islands and the Americas. Africans don't know Black American history.
Most of Black Americans are from America and Europe. We were taught about Europe in school. You should know that considering you have been here since you were 9. All

We have also support our bros and sis in the Caribbean when disasters hit there islands. However, the support and respect seems to be only one way so now a lot of Black Americans are falling back until it becomes a two way street of support and respect. I remember back in the 1980s a rap group named stetsasonic made a song called A.F.R.I.C.A. i still remember that song today. That song attempted to spread awareness of what was going on in a lot of African countries.
I wish people would stop being shocked about people not knowing countries in Africa, ya say that like it's something important to know to survive on this earth.
If you want to know how successful African Civilizations were before Slavery, Just look at the beauty of the artifacts in museums Worldwide, they Tell the true story.
The problem with these kinds of topics are that many people don't understand that Black Americans are a distinct ethnic community who's ethnogenesis began in the US long before the establishment of the US and we identify from that perspective. I know that I'm a descendant of Africans trafficked into the US, a descendant of West Atlantic Coast Africans trafficked into the US but my ancestry is part of an ethnogenesis of a community uniquely created via the history of the US. Denying that is disrespectful to Black Americans' unique history as a community. It would be like denying the history of The Igbo or Yoruba or Edo in Nigeria or The Fon or Ewe in present day Benin or Malinke in Sierra Leone. Affirmation of Black Americans being a distinct ethnic community doesn't deny African ancestry or genome contribution from West Africa.
African government officials said no one should worry about Africa and that Africa isn't poor. Africa needs to make up their minds, do y'all rock with us or nah? I think Americans are confused 😕
I think it depends on the person. I get along with Africans, actually most people from most countries. I have known many who do not. And it usually starts with the language. "I can't understand them." If you take a little more time, you might start to put it together and consider, most people, other than Americans, know at least three languages. Together is key, but I still don't think people will hear that.
I love it, she is not a hypocrite. She criticized Black's correctly, that could name 5 African countries and then she passed the test. Congratulations!
The irony of this is I know a gambian that couldn't name 5 African countries, there's a Kenyan on UA-cam that's in his late 30s and just visited the capital, Nairobi for the first time in his life a week ago. So what does that say about the education system in theses African countries. Surprisingly a 400 + year gap between ancestors doesn't seem to register with many africans, many of you think black Americans should simply forget our ancestors here, those we can actually name, provide dates of birth and death, places they lived, all the way back to 1600-1700, to go to Africa and find who, a tribe. There are more than 500 million Africans without birth certificates, that's half the population of the entire continent, who don't know the day they were born but black Americans have to connect. Do you guys ever go to England, Jamaica, Philippines, etc to connect with the blacks and question the hell out of them about their African ancestry?
True. We have to recognize the symbiotic relationship as well. I'm quite sure African Americans celebrated African victories, like Battle of Adwa in Ethiopia (the Ethiopians beat the Italians with their more primitive weapons) ... Who knows, I believe actions abroad helped start movements here ... Ijs
Not true. Cuba is the biggest player in ending apartheid, via the Quito Cuavale battle. My parents were apartheid freedom guerilla fighters with SWAPO.
Correction. Foundational Black Americans only started representing our ancestors here in America because many Africans are saying that we are not “Real Africans”. It's a reaction, not a random action. Deep down we love Africa, always have, and still do. We are just not going out of our way to represent people who dislike us or look down on us because they think that we are not African. Black Americans are not stupid, we know our Roots come from Africa. We just feel like Most Africans come to America from the lane that our forbears carved out for them and when they get here talk destructively about us, enforce stereotypes, and side with our Open enemies. We are just not interested in making relationships with people who don’t care to have one.
They say us black Americans are from Africa but cant prove it.. we know exactly where we're from and most Americans can name all the countries in Africa.
African Americans are not Africans or African Americans. We are the house of Yisrael...and our history didn't start when we came to America. Coming to America was another chapter of our history...but history goes back much further than africa.

She says that she is "from Sudan" BUT she was born and raised in America. What she really m means is that her parents and most of her family that she grew up around was born and raised in Sudan because SHE WASN'T. SO when Black Americans say that we are from America we mean also that we were (1) born and raised in America and that (2) most/all our family that raised us was born and raised in America AND (3) all/almost all of our past family that we know of through our currently living family was also born and raised on America and that this is true going back centuries.

I believe all Africans who immigrate to this country have roots in Africa. Black Americans not so much. Given our history as Americans I think that identifying with Africa should be an option. I lived and worked for many years on the Continent but I don't consider myself an African

@@Jeff-xv6gk without the mitochondria DNA of the African women, you don’t exist. Everyone on the planet also shares at least some phenotypical characteristics of the African. You mentioned skin tone. Black Americans who know themselves and their history care very much about Africa. But we can have a conversation about how systems of oppression keep Black people the world over from caring/doing much about anything beyond basic and immediate survival/subsistence and entertainment. Those who have broken their minds free by degrees from these systems I think you will find caring and doing a lot more. We all have a long way to go and a lot of work to do.

I am a so called "African American" but through research I've discovered that my people have been in America for thousands of years from the eastern shore and southern Maryland. We are the real aboriginal Americans (Israelites). The truth will shock you once you do deep research!
Yea I definitely don’t care at all😂American or black American is what I am, african American is a white liberal term non of our grandparents before the 80s called themselves African
Black Americans/African Americans do care about Africa.Let me qualify that by saying that Black Americans that have been taught by a teacher or self-taught. Black Americans were instrumental in helping Nelson Mandela be freed from prison in South Africa. The Congressional Black Caucus, Black activist here in the US were also fighting for South Africa and other African countries. The sitcom "A Different World" took up the cause of helping free Mandela and ending Apartheid in South Africa. Boycotts of South African businesses were implemented to force the racist government of South Africa to end Apartheid. Black American activists like Jesse Jackson and many others were also protesting at the South African embassy in DC for a just society in South Africa. Remember "We Are The World" song and benefit for Ethiopia when Ethiopians were dying of starvation and famine. Michael Jackson and Quincy Jones, I believe wrote "We Are The World" the song that raised millions of dollars for the people of Ethiopia. I believe it's the other way around, and Africans don't generally care about their African American blood in the US. Africans aren't even aware of all of the ancestors of slaves in Brazil, Columbia and other Latin countries with African populated areas. In a video I saw in Rwanda, this African guy was being interviewed by an African woman. He said some of the most hateful things about African Americans, and the interviewer was laughing as he berated them. Africa is doing a lot better than it was thirty or forty years ago. There are a lot of rich Africans in Africa. Africa and Africans don't need African Americans fawning over them. In addition, a lot of African Americans are moving to Africa, and Africans are leaving Africa. Africans leaving Africa, you'd think after they obtained their degree in the West that they would return to Africa to help the Continent. A lot of this history probably happened before you were born. History is to be studied. There's so much more history that you aren't aware of where African Americans fought for Africa and its people.
You do realize, just like these 2 young ladies, that not all Black's in America are AA's. The reason why they are able to have that interview, by that musuem, is because we care about each other. Not trying to be offensive, but it is when foreign blacks came to America, placed in AA communities, some ops! That is when a lot of the separation begin. We stop knowing whom of us, we could trust and trust that was by design. Ok Op!
From where do these topics come? So something seems to be. So what? Most of the disagreement between blacks worldwide deal with someone's feelings and who said what about whom. This has to stop.
What’s annoying is that she interviewed a non-FBA. This would’ve been better had she interviewed an FBA to prove whatever statements they were making was true or not. Both only have the perspective of non-FBAs on something an FBA should be present to talk about and give insight, knowledge and perspective on.
White Americans have also been there that long but trace their culture from European Civilization like Romans, Greeks,Vikings, you even speak English a European language from England not American language, Latin Americans Speak Spanish and Portuguese, Spain and Portugal are Europe not America, only blacks say that they are only American and run away from their real ancestry

A lot of us can name most of them😂😂😂😂
The first slave ship came to what is now known as America over 400 years ago.

Half the population of Africa is also underage...

Most of Black Americans are from America and Europe. We were taught about Europe in school. You should know that considering you have been here since you were 9.

There are more than 500 million Africans without birth certificates, that's half the population of the entire continent, who don't know the day they were born but black Americans have to connect. I AM AFRICAN AMERICAN AND YESSSSSSSSSSSSSS I LOVE AFRICA.. I FOLLOW IN THE FOOTSTEPS OF MARCUS GARVEY, ELIJAH MUHAMMAD AND MALCOM X.. WE LOVE OUR AFRICAN ANCESTORY.. SOME PEOPLE ON THIS CHANNEL APPEAR LOST, SO LET THEM STAY LOST... AND SOME OF US KNOW WHAT TIME IT IS.
Africans get such a romanticized perspective about America that they forget or perhaps, don’t know that there are plenty of Black people here living the same way or worse than they are living in Africa. Outside of the major cities, there is grinding poverty, and when people are experiencing poverty, they are concerned with survival, not with the survival of the brethren someplace else.🤷🏽♀️
True
85 percent of black Americans are not im poverty. The 15 percent that may be in poverty based on US standards. For the most part I doubt that it is the same level of proverty.
Stop with the non sense on black Americans about Africans it's getting old.
What's with the title of the video?

The obsession with black American is becoming weird. Like other comme he has said nobody ask these questions to Afro Latinos or Caribbeans but somehow people feel the need to make us identify as African.
Because Africans don’t move to those countries but always go to America and they want to feel included
If we didnt identify as African then we wouldnt call ourselves African American. We changed to that name 30 years ago from Black Americans.
Facts!
But most still call ourselves black Americans n not African Americans
I am Black American we been here 1619 ! And build America and was here before America!
We not African we Israelites and are going do to u wa u done to us
Im a White American my grand parents are from Ireland but I was born and raised in Chattanooga TN my grandmother was really big on history she would say if people don't learn from history they repeat it i can remember books she whould read to us about Ireland and America i need to say respectfully first i don't believe in racism nor has there been any racist in our family but she told me that black Americans are a native people and the term African American was implemented to separate black Americans from white Americans has anyone else heard of this from what ive been taught Black Americans have always been AMERICAN
We aren’t from Africa, period
You don't have any drop of African blood?
@@AfricanDominicanwhite people have African dna….
Our roots are from Africa, but I don't Identify as a AA. I don't have any direct relations with anyone in Africa and my family generational history been here in America for 100s of years. I love the African culture and the people, but I love my American Culture despite the battles we're still fighting for and many of our descendants died for. You interviewed someone that's from Africa that was raised in America...so she'll have a different view since she have direct family to Africa.
Thanks for your input!
That part 💯
Africans and black American two different people
I believe all Africans who immigrate to this country have roots in Africa. Black Americans not so much. Given our history as Americans I think that identifying with Africa should be an option. I lived and worked for many years on the Continent but I don't consider myself an African
Black Americans have roots in Africa, the just go back a bit farther. I am African by way of America
@@ksbesq8597 you make no sense
@@Jeff-xv6gk just because you don’t understand doesn’t mean my statement is nonsensical. Everyone has roots in Africa some just go back further than others. Your roots are there too!
@@ksbesq8597 so whats your point in saying everyone has roots in Africa? The aboriginals in Australia came from africa over 10 to 20 thousands years ago you do dna testing on them now they’re more closely related to Asians than African so far removed not a trace of African dna but their skin can be jet black doesn’t make them African!
@@Jeff-xv6gk without the mitochondria DNA of the African women, you don’t exist. Everyone on the planet also shares at least some phenotypical characteristics of the African. You mentioned skin tone. You can also find that skin tone in south east Asia, native tribes of the Americas, Pacific Islanders etc. you do realize that there are different levels of DNA testing. Africans and people closets to that phenotype are prototypes of the originals humans; we have the most diverse and dominate gene pool. The point is just to share knowledge! Good day!
All melanin beings are one tree different branches same roots whether they like it or not that shared consciousness makes them face the same fate wherever they go
Black-Americans aren't actually African. We were born and raised in the U.S. We are of African ancestry.

Which language were these people speaking?
@tecumseh4095 An Algonquin Language that came from original Hebrew.
@horribleprogram Most west Coast Indians do because Asians arrived after blacks.
Yea I definitely don’t care at all😂American or black American is what I am, african American is a white liberal term non of our grandparents before the 80s called themselves African
I’ve never said that and I can name 15 😊
LOL! And good for you! :-)
This interview was very beautiful I enjoyed every second!!! I subscribed and I want to see more interviews from you my young intelligent black woman.
Thank you :-)
They don’t care about each other why the hell would they care about others or should I say they seemed maybe too general

The topics are inspired by different things that I come across as a person of the African diaspora.
It's not that we don't care its just we've been here 400 yrs. This is our home this is what we know this is our culture.

I hear you. But it's never too late to start caring and learning about Africa.
A lot of black Americans came from Angola and Congo not west African everyone keeps thinking is west which is false Caribbean black actually most of them came from west Africa. But blacks from Central Africa Angola 🇦🇴 and DRC Congo 🇨🇩

She is aware of her "Ethnic National Heritage" and understands that black is not a biological bloodline rather it is a Heritage not a crayon color. Race in terms of color, is a European colonial Construct, a mythical social engineering eugenics classification Not an actual Ethnicity. You are who your bloodline Heritage ancestors are, just like the Navajo or the Cherokee Indians who do not identify with being called red or yellow people. We need to wake up, and reclaim our "Bloodline Nationality" not a fictional race deemed an adjective and not a proper pronoun???

Those that don’t care about Mama Africa are still Mentally Enslaved, that makes Willie Lynch proud. Once all Black people Emancipate Ourselves from Mental Slavery, our Blessing of Redemption will pour in because our Unity is in our numbers globally. 🙏🏿🤴🏾👸🏾👏🏾
The institution of slavery is ancient way before the idea of “Willie Lynch.” The origin of oppression and deviant behavior originates from both in the Middle East and ancient Egypt of which happens to be located in Africa. All ideology and behaviors of today is a derivative of ancient Egyptian/Babylonian practices including the idea religion that was already foretold in the ancient scrolls.
