I played at MGM once for a weekend and I remember it being very VERY soft. But this was years ago. I can't imagine it's still like this there. But 20K profit in 2 weeks is mind blowing. Huge congrats.
The flopped straight hand, pretty sure there is a 3 out there with the 4 missing. A4 seems like a likely possibility BUT he said Nuts so 64 not good. Just throwing that out there since it does change the perception of play in the hand for me a little. Nice win though. Unreal the number of quality hands you had on the button.
I lived here for a year and played there regularly. I’ve had the most success at this room on cash and even won a tourney there. Wish I wouldn’t have left lol
Something I see quite often in my local cardrooms where you can straddle from UTG or button (limit holdem of either 15/30, 20/40, 8/16) all games play full kill Dude loses hand after hand, bitches, rebuys, plays every hand, busts again, rebuys again announcing "I swear I never win one single hand with this dealer! Oh...I am straddling" LOL...what??????? Straddling when you are losing and announcing you are on tilt, basically....wow...just wow Naturally one of us always raises their straddle and now they feel committed to call, flop a middle pair and call all the way to the river, losing yet again. Most of us are smart enough to value bet rivers with just top pair and even a 2 or 3 kicker if heads up against steamy loser cuz if he had top pair you would know by now Personally I pert much never straddle from UTG but will from the button if I am on a good run (btw, on a button straddle action begins with the small blind)
I wouldn't say it's "ridiculously" wide. Check the charts and 96s is bottom. And that's when everyone is playing GTO. Not too crazy to expand my opening range to 94s in a soft live game.
Yes it was filmed a while ago. News flash. Not every vlog you see was filmed recently. If I didn’t show anything about NYE, you’d never even know. Really don’t understand why there’s any complaints around this besides people like complaining lol
@@AlexDuvall wasn't a complaint brother... no need to be defensive. @@jackripper8337 Ok if you were just pointing it out, fine all good. Meant no disrespect. I don't know you and it is pretty easy from my end to see this as a complaint / negative comment especially when I saw it from so many others on this vid (really odd to me). I play online a lot so yeah I go live a lot for that
Lol I bought in small the entire time I was playing at MGM. Didn’t know how the games played. Like reducing variance sometimes. Might have had extra chips from another day so I just add on
You bet $500 ( to win a $200 pot/Guaranteed $100 if you just chop) with a straight on the board, but won’t bluff with nut flush card because” people don’t fold in live poker”,, ok???
@@AlexDuvall I prefer Andrew Neeme. I watch: Pokerface Ash. Jeff Boski. Lex O Poker, Spraggy, Lex Veldhuis. Occasionally, I watch Jaman Burton because he's really good: 10/20/40. He uses comic book panel style art, which is sometimes over the top.

Yeah Seems to still be pretty soft
It’s still very soft. Lots of drunk tourists especially when you’re playing late
Punished by the poker Gods!! Great job!
The comments are ridiculous. I don’t know why people are complaining. I enjoy your videos. Keep up the great work.
Much appreciated
Man you really love raising your one pair hands. Every time I do that I get jammed on by a set or overpair lol
New year eve ? Come on duval 😊
What’s wrong?

Great one Alex😁
The kid seems like he is watching to much poker, and learning the bad points, like making hero calls! 😁
👍😎✌
Yeah hopefully he learns his lesson and becomes humble

It’s great
terrible that he didn't bet the nut straight on that turn... I don't believe him lol
I'd say I had a flush too if I wanted to lie lol but yeah idk
You’ll never find peace with worldly revenge
Idk felt pretty good here

He most likely only played the game a couple times and didn’t realize what he was implying.
Yeah possible
where is day 5,6,7,8,9...... come on!! i really enjoy watching this
Haha I’ve been slacking… but also CRUSHING. They will come eventually.
Amazing how many of your ace hands flopped top pair with your kickers (Q-9-J) or at least an ace
20:00 i think the graphics might be wrong because i see the 3 of spades on the board
You might be right. So opponent is really claiming they had 64 for the flopped straight. Doesn’t change things too much
A5s so many times LOL
Wait a minute... aren't you the guy that doubled me up at 5/10 when I flopped a set of 8s last week
Solid player
How can you comment on the 52 hand when you’re opening 94 suited, that’s a ridiculously wide open

When you hopping in the 5/10/25 streets
Hopefully soon
@@AlexDuvall We'll be waiting
You just ran so good early in this vlog.. calling a 4 bet with A5s can’t be that good.
When they make it nearly a min raise and you are deep, it’s a call
Is this a re-upload or is this really 3+ months old? Lol.

Yeah it’s certainly always easy to have that thought after the fact
do you ever show losing sessions or just sun runs?
Just sun runs
Maybe he's seen your vlogs and because of that he felt like he knows you or somethin 🤷🏻
Hey Alex why you call this 5 figure streak when you are cashing out 4 figures and yes I’m slow at times too lol
Lol you have a point, but overall I made 5 figures+ so that’s why
New years bro really🤔
Yep that’s when the video was filmed. What’s the big deal?
Why didn’t you show us the actual conversation between you two?
Didn’t record it, wasn’t in a hand
I don't get your weird buy ins for 490? ??

New years eve bro? Come on man... sorry I have to unfollow...
I’m confused. You’re angry the footage is from a while back? Really?
Seems some are forming an opinion about your choice to play on NYE. Not sure why. Keep the sun run going, brother!
