This song takes me back to the 80s
This is another song that was everywhere. Kinda moody. I like it.
Dude... I LOW KEY LOVE thus song! 💯😎🤣 That damned bass line!
I remember dancing to this in the clubs and feeling so cool! 😹🎶
I really like this song from 1984, thanks Biz
Dance floors used to be packed whenever this song was played. I loved it!!
Quintessential 80s! So catchy! ♥
This song was big in 84. It's a Sin, Opportunities, Always On My Mind and What Have I Done to Deserve This were some other hits of theirs
Suburbia is great too.
What Have I Done I think is a great song of theirs, with Dusty Springfield helping out on vocals. Maybe these guys not Biz's jam but thiink its a tune def worth checking out
I love What have I Done To Deserve This ❤
One of the best duo band.
Gotta move to this
I’m 70 and still love this song. However, it also used to remind me of the Mods and Rockers from way back in the day.
Yeah, let's get some Quadrophenia on this channel.
Classic 80s gem
Synth pop at it's finest.
Oh wow. Truly doesn't get better than this.
In 1985 I ran away 2000+ miles from a small farm town to the big city at 17 and this reminds me of dancing in the nightclubs with my whole life ahead of me, can't believe I'm a middle age man now, still in that big city (Los Angeles) with decades to reflect back on, how mysterious life is!
Pet Shop boys came out the gate with a couple of commercial false starts including this track being completely ignored. But when they camped producer it clicked. Lead singer Neil Tenant was a music journalist with a UK magazine called Smash Hits where one of his jobs was to review singles being released each week. So he heard enough to know what was popular. Their first 5 albums were pretty peerless.
This is from the debut album “Please”. They thought it was a hilarious album title because you would go into the record store and say “couldn’t have the new Pet Shop Boys album, please”.
After a remix album called Disco their next album was called “Actually” with a similar joke behind it. Check out “Left To My Own Devices” from fourth album “Introspective”. An album they described as 12” mixes made to be shortened into singles, rather than the usual way of remixing album tracks into 12” versions.
If you’d watched any tv over the last couple of years you would also know their song “Opportunities (Let’s Make Lots Of Money)” on car insurance adverts.
But this is such a perfect pop song and became a number 1 on both sides of the Atlantic. UK in 1985, US in 1986. Shame you weren’t really feeling it. But there’s more singing on other songs. Love Comes Quickly, Suburbia, Being Boring, So Hard, Kings Cross, It’s A Sin.
they are still dropping new music -- a new album just this week!
BIZ!!! When this came out, my brother knew I loved this song, so forever after that, he would play it, without me saying a thing! So cool.
Thank you for your reaction. Hey, "To Each His Own" lol. Gonna have to binge watch you too, but you've seen it before! 👀😂❤
Have you ever reacted to "Never My Love" by Association?
This song was huge at the time.
Great song
It’s just so of the time. Takes you right back!
Yup yup!!!!!! West end girlzzz
...badonka donks
💯
I did like this song during the 80s but I respect your honesty: not your cuppa tea, that’s ok!
❤😂🎉🎹🎵🎶🌎🌍🌏
Kinda Rap tech pop strange combination but works here
"not a song I'd listen to again" Well no ones perfect.....
Keep playing them you can’t go wrong. A Man Could Get Arrested was the B side to this in America
Not my favorite, not gonna lie, but it was a blast from the past for sure.
The official video is good too as it shows us London in the 80s.
Don't like this re-mix - too much bass.
Why lil.Uzi gotta be gay yo?? Bwahaha
..that sht was funny af
