    Mine after 35 mins in oven never dried completely and were slightly rubbery.
    45 seconds in the microwave turned them into puffy pork rind texture and crunchy! Expanded 2-3x larger. Delicious.

      The rubbery is the issue. I did the same with beef and it turned out to become a disgusting rubber material that was not dried completly and startet do mold after a week.

    • @CaptnJack
      @CaptnJack 8 місяців тому +4

      yes you can. there are several people that have vids on this. From here I would say take chips and grind in chopper. then set back on tray and put in oven on low heat to dry it out more. Then maybe put it back into the food chopper to make it as fine as you need/want. Chicken is one of the best (vs beef) 'so far' in making a flour or bread like substitute.

      They are optional, so no, the base of the chips is just chicken.

    Sooo miss the crunch. The pork rinds are holding me over, but not hitting the spot. These look promising

    I tried making these... they did not come out crunchy.. I couldn't get the rolling pin to roll.. I am not a baker lol next time I will have my fiance roll it.

    • @StayFitness
      @StayFitness  Рік тому +2

      If they didn't get crunchy then you didn't bake them long enough! I can't help you with the rolling pin not rolling tho 🤣

      @@StayFitness lol I put them in longer.. they came out crunchy but they were not black but tasted burnt. Next time the roller is going to work. Haha

      @@vanihansen2136 needs to be very very thin, the oven should be at low temp 150c so shouldn't burn the chips!
