Who else missed that crunch on the carnivore diet?
Im going to make that, all I need is a good machine to grind that meat. What is the machine You have? I wonder my old smoothie blender wont do
@@simpleman393 I have a simple food processor, dunno if smoothie maker will work, might have to do it in small batches
Yes!!! I miss crunch so bad!! I’m assuming these are skinless thighs..
@@StayFitness After 5 months I was able to get my hands on a food processor and now the chicken chips are baking in the owen! I forget I was supposed to use thighs so I made it from fillet instead.
I air fry my chicken wings and baby, they come out crunchy😋
Mine after 35 mins in oven never dried completely and were slightly rubbery.
45 seconds in the microwave turned them into puffy pork rind texture and crunchy! Expanded 2-3x larger. Delicious.
The rubbery is the issue. I did the same with beef and it turned out to become a disgusting rubber material that was not dried completly and startet do mold after a week.
Just made these for dinner as nachos. Totally delicious 😋 The two of us ate the 500g worth of chips so easily 😅 Best meal I've had in ages ❤️
Hey hey sorry for slow replay! So glad you enjoyed my recipe! What did you add on to your nachos?
That was my first thought that I could have nachos and cheese for dinner. Can’t wait to try!
Awsum! Im going to bake them with Jane's Krazy Mixed Up Salt which I usually season my airfried chicken wings with it. Yummo! Thank you!
Pssst, recipe in the description says chicken tights instead of chicken thighs. I had a good chuckle imagining chickens in tights ;)
Loooooool!!! Thank you so much for pointing out!!
I added ground up pork rind, Apple cider vinegar, redmond salt. DELICIOUS!!
Thank you, I have packets of bought ones atm,but I can’t wait to make these🌟🇬🇧🙋🏻♀️
Hope you give them a try soon!!
definitely curry powder is a solid add , so many different options
I would add smoked sea salt on some. I make my own dry ranch mix for my husband so I would make some with the dry ranch seasoning for him.
Nice, going to try this!! ♥️🥰
Thank you so much for this recipe!
You are most welcome :)
Made these today! I've not missed crunchy (surprisingly) but wow I enjoyed these! I made a quick gauc w/ salsa & sour cream. I'm not strict carnivore, mostly animal products but I enjoy a few veg. I will make these often, I can't wait to try some melted cheese on them - thank you I really love your videos they are so easy to follow and to the point.
So so very glad you enjoyed the chips!!
Question: No Judgement, but you said you enjoy a few veg. Have you though about why you do? Is it from previous experiences? Is it from taste, is it just memory of good times when eating veggies? I am truly curious.
Made these today and love them.
Used chicken breast and added a little vegetable broth, sea salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
Thanks!!
Oh my gosh, these look amazing!
Thank you!! Hope you give them a try!!
This is exactly what I have been thinking of how to make hicken chip, but using chicken mince ( I bought too much of it). I developed the method in my head, but never tried it out. Thanks for giving me the courage to follow my intuition!
Fantastic!!
Sounds delicious.
Wow ... thank you 👍
Welcome 😊
Thank you!
You're welcome!
I sliced potatos (about 1/10 inch thick) and deep fry kettle style in butter until golden brown
Super Tasty
Ate about 70# in about a month as a test - gained no weight
Would love someone to do a glucose level test with them
Awesome thanks
Welcome 😊
I love how you did your meat crisp! Much more practical than any others I've watched!!! I could manage this, but don't have fancy kitchen wares, or the energy to do much in the kitchen. Thank you so much!!! Subscribing!
Glad you liked it!!
Eat carnivore and you will find that energy again! Go Team!
They look great !!! and so easy to make. Will def be making these with garlic and tajin seasoning (salt chilli lime) Loving the simplicity of all the recipes you present on your channel
Hello! Thank you so much for your support! Tajin seasoning sounds amazing, I will have a look if I can find it where I live!
This is brilliant! I cannot wait to make these chips. Thank you so much, Daniella💖
Thank you for following my channel :)
The chips did it for me. I am a subscriber now 😃
They are awsome, hope you try them. Thanks for subscribing!!
I have done chicken skin but it never occurred to me to use chicken meat - brilliant! Thanks for the recipe!
Thank you! Hope you give this recipe a go!
I love crispy chicken skin but cannot source it. It seems all stores are getting their chicken breasts pre skinned. ☹️ So I will try these instead! I've been making meat crisps using thin sliced lunch meat dehydrated but its very salty. I love crispy stuff!
I've got to try these, I have a wonderful clean rub for chicken an pork that I will try.
Sounds delicious!
Can’t wait to try this, thank you for sharing 🥩
You’re welcome 😊
This looks great Daniela. I'll have salt and pepper in mine, maybe some mustard powder.
Sounds delicious :)
I'm making this now!!! Thanks for the recipe😁🐸👍
Great!!
Thank you! Ranch dressing seasoning with a little bit of ground red pepper flakes 😋 Subscribed🎉
Thank you for subscribing!! Hope you enjoy the chicken chips :)
@@StayFitness Thank YOU! Such a 👍 great 💡
Thanks for the recipe! I love the simplicity of getting a protein rich crunch on a carnivore diet. My question is, do yours ever feel super dry in your mouth? I did a variation tonight and added an egg with a couple tablespoons of powdered egg whites, but still… pretty dry when chewed up. I’m using skinless chicken thighs.
Any advice? Thanks!
So simple and ingenious! Def gonna try this. Have u done this with other meats?
Thank you!! Yes I have tried beef, there is a video on my channel! I also tried liver!
Great!! I love chicken thighs - I'm adding a bit of skin for more fat.
Chipotle pepper mix 😊 tandoori spice curry powder.
Just found you channel and love this recipe! Can you link the video for the beef chips? I can seem to find it on your channel
Yes I can ua-cam.com/video/QlhvadJnTL4/v-deo.html
I always bake my chicken thighs with Cajun spices so I’d go for that in this recipe.
Great idea!
I could eat the whole bowl right away
Wow, looks amazing. I would try making taco shells with this recipe.
Sounds delicious :)
TKS U MATE ❤, L🥰VE THIS RECIPE DO U STILL STORE THEM IN THE FRIDGE I PUT CHIIPS IN THE FREEZER KEEPS THEM FRESH AND CRUNCHY
You can store them in a plastic bag, no need to refrigerate them. They will stay crispy for days!
I am going to buy a meat slicer today and make my own carnivore crisps out of a chuck roast because who can afford carnivore crisps? This is amazing I'm going to do this with chicken, thank you for the brilliant idea. My husband isn't carnivore like me and he's so incredibly skinny so anyway I can get him to eat meat makes me so happy. He is a snack fiend so I think this would do the trick
Great, I am glad you are going to give my recipe a try :)
@@StayFitness I did it and my 29 year-old son who hates meat actually liked the chicken chips, we also got a meat slicer and made chuck eye roast chips, they all disappeared quickly.
It looks like chicken bacon and it looks yummy I'm going to have to try this. Have you tried putting it in an airfryer?
No, haven't tried the airfryer yet, but if you do let me know :)
Could you do this (with similar results/texture) with lean (90/10) beef?
I have a recipe on my channel trying out this recipe with beef, check it out! Btw so sorry for responding so late. My life has been a bit messy since having a baby :)
Hey there 👋🏼 Thank you so much for this recipe. Do you you think that we can make meat flour by grinding these crisps? We could save so much money if that was possible 😊
yes you can. there are several people that have vids on this. From here I would say take chips and grind in chopper. then set back on tray and put in oven on low heat to dry it out more. Then maybe put it back into the food chopper to make it as fine as you need/want. Chicken is one of the best (vs beef) 'so far' in making a flour or bread like substitute.
These are a great idea, I subbed, I have a food dehydrator, have you tried this, I just ask because I definitely want the crunch, also can you use other meats ?
These are made of chicken so in order to be safe to eat you would need to heat them over 165.2F. Dehydrator won't reach that temperature so be careful please :)
I make bacon jerky in my dehydrator. You can't turn it up beyond medium or the fat leaks out. But, my family loves them and so do I!
I'm thinking to add cayenne
looks yummy. Wonder if could make from ground chicken? I don't have one of those machines.
I never tried, if you do let me know how it goes!
Maybe even use as a pizza crust
Can you do one with pre packed ground chicken . I want to skip that step with the processor im lazy to wash the processor each time try it like that please
I can try, but even with cooked chicken I would still need to bled it to achieve a paste, if I just spread ground meat on a tray I'm not gonna get chips out of it!
I love this recipe and will absolutely try this next weekend! I am carnivore and the only thing I crave is potato chips :-) I have an airfryer and wonder if these will be good in the airfryer too? When you bake them in your oven, do you use hot air flow or just regular baking temperature without air flow? Thank you!! :-D I have added your channel to my subscribtions :-D
Welcome o to my channel and thank you for subscribing. These chips need to be baked at low temp so if using air fryer make sure you use a low temperature as they need to slowly dry. I use the oven at hot air flow but I think it would work both ways.
You mentioned Hot air flow…do you mean convection or super convection….that’s the options on my oven.
Same as you plus a little hot sauce
Can you use canned chicken?
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Green olives
Mmm… love garlic, onion…. Maybe some sour cream with the onion… that would be tasty!
Sounds delicious! I also made them cheesy Doritos flavour, you should check that out!
Omg… ❤❤❤❤❤
do you have to store in the frig? thanks!
Nope, just a plastic bag, or container.
How do you keep it from sticking to the parchment paper? I've even tried spraying it first.
A silicone tray works better! you can see them and get a link at Chris Cooking Nashville. I got 4 and they were very affordable.
Nashv8 is a lib héllholé
Looks delicious. Would it work to try it with ground beef?
I have a recipe made with beef, you should check it out :)
@sandan2358 I made ground beef and did it in the dehydrator. It turned out great! If you don’t have a dehydrator, you can do it in the oven at 150 degrees. Happy New Year!
🧂Lily🥩
How long would they last in a zip lock out of the refrigerator and also out? Thanks
You can keep them out of the fridge, they do last for quite a while like beef jerky.
What was the white powder that you added at the 3:04 mark?
Onion/garlic powder
Storing in refrigerator or on shelf and how long will it last ?
in a plastic bag or container. will last for ages but mine never lasted too long as they got eaten quickly
What kind of potato flavoring do you think I can use? To give potato flavor without carbs. Thank you
In the US you should be able to find online potato essence.
@@StayFitness ok I will try, thanks. Even though I like normally cooked chicken breast: when I tried to create a jerky out of it (I added all spices etc) it really tasted not good like a rubber. Only the parts that were real thin and crunchy were easier to eat.
Great video thanks so much ❤ new sub 😊
Yay! Thank you!
thank you
Welcome!
To start, i suggest that you use a glass Pyrex pie plate.
Will this work with beef?
I have a recipe on my channel trying out this recipe with beef, check it out! Btw so sorry for responding so late. My life has been a bit messy since having a baby :)
My husband can't have chicken, can this be done with beef? If so which cut of beef would work the best?
I have made these with beef, the recipe is on my channel ;)
Does anyone know how these should be stored?
In a sealed container or bag outside the fridge. They will stay crispy for days!
Mine actually kept perfectly in a Mylar zip bag at room temp for more than a month! My dog decided he really loves these as well!
🧂Lily🥩
Can we use ground chicken instead if grounding yourself?
Yes but you still need to use a food processor to make a chicken paste or you won't get the right consistency.
Would my Blendtec Blender work?
Every time you say the word really, I melt. Really.
she has a man already
i would dip in sour cream :)
Are you using a convection oven? I’m in the US and used 300F for 50 minutes in a regular oven (not convection) but it didn’t get crispy. I put them in the air fryer for a while and got them to crisp up. I am going to try it next time on the convection setting. Let me know if you have recommendations. Thanks.
My oven is always convection, I can't even switch it to static!
How much salt for 2 thighs?
1/4 teaspoon to 1/2 teaspoon i would say depending on how salty you like it to be 🙂
With or without skin?
never tried with skin, but it could be delicious.
I wonder if I mixed in cheese with this
I have a version of these made with cheese, I called them Carnivore Doritos, you should check ti out!!
Pork skins good crunch cracklins
Are you saying 15 minutes to bake it or 50 minutes
50 minutes!
Are salt and spices not considered to be ingredients?
They are optional, so no, the base of the chips is just chicken.
Sooo miss the crunch. The pork rinds are holding me over, but not hitting the spot. These look promising
Hope these will hit the spot :)
Add jalapeño
Can we use chicken breasts instead of chicken thighs?
Yep, first try to this recipe was with chicken breast, you can go and have a look at that video!
@@StayFitness Thank you! ❤️
I tried making these... they did not come out crunchy.. I couldn't get the rolling pin to roll.. I am not a baker lol next time I will have my fiance roll it.
If they didn't get crunchy then you didn't bake them long enough! I can't help you with the rolling pin not rolling tho 🤣
@@StayFitness lol I put them in longer.. they came out crunchy but they were not black but tasted burnt. Next time the roller is going to work. Haha
@@vanihansen2136 needs to be very very thin, the oven should be at low temp 150c so shouldn't burn the chips!
Can i do this but with meat?
Not sure what you mean, chicken is meat?
Make a garlic butter dip to dip it in and there’s your fat portion.
Sounds delicious!!
With hearing loss, I find this very difficult to understand...
You didn’t add any fat?
No but I do wonder if they would taste nice if I added a bit of chicken skins in the mix.
Made it yesterday. The crunch is perfect but it doesn’t smell good. More like pet food😢
Try adding more spices and eat it with a dip
I made them and they are so dry!!!
On their own they can be dry, I recommend to use them for nachos and dips :)
Not very clear recipe
Slow down the talking just a smidgeon.
In the settings button you can slow down the playback speed to .75x. That's what I did and it made it a lot easier to catch everything she said
Why do so many people do the giant open mouth thumbnail? Is everyone surprised that the food is good? It's not attractive.
Trying to get them views :)
Why would you want a snack why would you process somthing thats already processed complete just eat the meat
See: " snack"
Doing this for PSMF. I have about 10 jars of salsa on hand lol
I added cumin, garlic and chili powder!
Sounds yummy!!! Did you like them?
