The secret boss may have been harder but the Queen fight just honestly feels more fun. I think that's what Toby is trying to do? Making the final chapter bosses more gimmicky and fun while making the secret bosses more straightforward and rewarding.
Seriously, no question, the fight proper was one try for normal route, about three or four for weird route, but this elevator hella took me like ten tries before I realized it's just spooking me
Most of the hell gameplay in Toby's games comes from the bullet hell genre. The elevator's special because it comes from a different kind of hell game... Super Hexagon.

@@miculprint. I will confess that I did die to the elevator once, but that was about it, whereas with Spamton Neo it took me approximately 3~4 attempts in both battle formats. And even then, the only reason I died to the elevator section was simply because I didn't expect it to be so fast-paced.

I have a theory that we'll see these characters again in chapter 7, but not them. Its stated there's going to be a carnival, and we've already seen that the two released bosses have a carnival ride element to them. (Jevil has the carousel, and Spamton NEO has the rollercoaster.) Which makes me think that the other chapter's secret bosses will also follow this theme as well. And may also have a Light World counterpart with operators for those rides in the end of chapter 7 when i assume this carnival will be.
"The festival" is something that's mentioned multiple times in the light world as "coming up" so maybe as the chapters tell the story of those days we may see something of a "festival element" with all the secret bosses
The one for Jevil would be a circus clown themed carrousel, where the ride simply cannot stop spinning for whatever reason. Spamton's could be a computer controlled rollercoaster, which has been taken over by some malicious computer virus. Just speculating lmao I really don't know shit.

It took me 37 tries and i still couldn't get through the elevator on switch, it was way too complex to do it with cons. Then i accidently discovered: you can use arrows too Got it First try, then i had to reestabilish using joysticks for the fight

There are a number of reasons why this is the case. 1. Toby Fox created both Deltarune and Undertale. 2. Undertale characters make an appearance in Deltarune, including but not limited to, Toriel, Sans, Catty/Bratty, Burgerpants, Temmie, Onionsan and Asgore. 3. Both Deltarune and Undertale have the "Fight or Mercy" battle style with bullet hell evasion turns. Only main differences are you have actual party members to fight alongside you and Asriel is supposedly alive.
