- For the record they were waving mac 10s around in the back seat. Two males got out with jackets and one was reaching inside his jacket. This wasn’t a good situation and I didn’t want to get into a long conversation with my wife. I did not have a weapon and wanted to protect my family.

I guess I need to add to the story. Because while there has been a lot of supportive comments there has been a lot of negative ones. I probably didn't say all the right things in the video and that has offended a lot of people. I am sorry for that. I have also been told I should always be armed. I am a disabled veteran I suffer from PTSD and other problems that stem from that issue. I chose not to own a weapon not because I can't legally or am a liberal. I just know it would be unsafe to me. I really didn't want to have to share this or make people think I am using it as a crutch. It's just the truth and is my struggle I deal with everyday. Again I am sorry for upsetting people with all my actions.

I tried to get a coworker a lil older than me to have awareness (she never saw a larger guy walking directly towards us coming from the side). If you listen she asks too many dumb questions ("holding them up to where?"..... does it matter??😂). Plus she sounds like the type to be on her phone or staring off into space while at the gas station.

It’s just like I spy with greater detail. She’s 10 now. We were shopping for Thanksgiving and I was paying attention to my list. She told me a guy was following us through the store. I didn’t turn around but I act like I was taking a selfie so I could see him lol 😂. He followed us three more aisles which I skipped on purpose. I walked up to security and asked one to walk me to my car and another to watch the man as we left. I left all that food in the store lol 😂. I gave my daughter a huge hug for paying attention. I drove to the police station just in case someone was following us and then went home. I did let a police know but they couldn’t do anything about. Even though I know to be more aware of my surroundings, that day I was just stressed trying to prepare for a huge dinner. I’m a lot more aware know and I carry.

He said "they have guns and are holding them up" as if they are robbing the gas station or someone else nearby. They simply have guns with is not a crime itself if its legal forearm open carry. He should of just got out of the situation quickly and informed the family members afterwards what happened instead of being super cringe about it. I rememeber living in PA hanging with friends by the creek and i bear suddenly was appraoching us and i saw it but no one else so i quickly said "hey i really need to get home can we leave please, i will explain later, lets just leave, follow me" and after we got home i informed them that a huge bear was appraoching us but i did not want to cause panic and make matters worse.
