There's tons of inaccurate information in this video. Although I feel that it was beautifully put together I will correct those for you since I am the local for 41 years and I work on Lookout mountain. First of all. You really messed up Rock City lol. So Lookout Mountain is the name of the mountain itself. On top of Lookout Mountain you have Rock City, Ruby falls, the incline railway, point Park and More! You cannot take the incline to anything on Lookout Mountain except point Park where the civil war battle above the clouds took place. It is literally just a round trip so you. You cannot access Ruby falls or Rock City from this point. You will have to drive the mountain. Rock City is the biggest attraction here. That's where you can see seven states It's not called Lookout Mountain with Rock City point. Ruby falls is incredible because it was accidentally discovered in the 1920s by Leo Lambert. His granddaughter still owns a store on the mountain called Mountain memories gift shop her name is Jeannie and she is amazing. The carousel downtown was built a long time ago but it was fully restored by a local gentleman. There is no hotel at the Chattanooga Choo Choo any longer. It is just restaurants and bars. At the end you talked about the historic district downtown with the coffee shops and the restaurants and then you said bed and breakfasts. The last thing you show is the Chanticleer inn bed and breakfast and that is actually the bed and breakfast that I am the general manager of lol. It is not located downtown it is located on top of Lookout Mountain steps from Rock City Gardens. I just want to clarify this because I want people to know what things are actually called so they can visit! Thank you for this nice video.
Just moved and we’re just in awe. Couch potato turned out doors guy. Picked up mountain biking too and already lost 6 lbs. Hiking trails and quarry swimmable water holes were also left out of this list. Love it here.
Sounds like my husband and I want him to experience this! If you had a family of 4. Kids 11 and 7, where would you recommend someone to stay that’s within close distance of stores, shops and also close to these mountain/waterfall areas? 4 day trip to see Ruby Falls and Lookout mountain. Anything else that’s a must see on 4 days and what’s the best location to be in the middle of it all and access to shops too??

He took parts of my video review of Aretha Frankensteins as well which I'm fine with if he just gave source credit and he has used my channel video for several videos at this point. Sadly this channel seems to create "lists" of places they have never been just using video and info taken from others. It is sadly VERY clear this channel narrator has never visited Chattanooga. When did Chattanooga Choo Choo stop doing hotel rooms? I noticed they had taken down the room listings so that seems to be more recent in the last few years.

@Immatrumpgirl...I love the Chanticleer. Haven't stayed there in years. Is there a mailing list or a way to be notified of packages/specials at the Inn? It's a beautiful place and a great location. I bet you love your job! A beautiful setting, history,in a great city.
I was cooking while listening to this so I'm not sure if it was mentioned, but about 30 minutes northeast is the Ocoee Olympic Park. Some of the best (family friendly) white water rafting in the country ! Also there's a natural blue hole at the top of the mountain where alot of erosion has carved out swimable tunnels in the river rock 😁 amazing time
less than 1/2 mile downstream is a much better 'blue hole than the one above the (burned down) Whitewater Center....more difficult to access but a much better swim/snorkeling area.....
Should have mentioned some of the night life, Allan Golds is pretty much a landmark here for 21+. Also check out Philosophy Tattoo collective if you ever want to get tattooed while traveling to Chattanooga
You cannot leave out the Medal Of Honor Heritage center near the Aquarium. The Medal Of Honor originated in Civil War battle of Missionary Ridge and Tennessee is the home of many, many MOH recipients. It is a "must see" for sure if you care about real history.
Eat at jacks. yes it is fast food but the best fast food you will ever have. The chattanooga pinball museum $20 and you can play classic arcade and pinball all day. Ride the duck tours. WW2 era truck that is a boat. Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum/CHATTANOOGA & HIWASSEE TRAIN RIDES, same location museum and train rides. Chattanooga National Cemetery those MOH heroes from the Great Locomotive Chase (union) are here all at the same memorial grave site.
#10 sounds like what the gringos still are doing. People are walking on foot and instead of just sending them back , they're shipping and dropping them off in desolate rural areas outside Chicago . The texas officials and drivers are sneaking them in without any food or clothing..sinful that humans , Americans haven't improved f0

Coolidge park was named after WWII Medal of Honor recipient Charles Coolidge, who is a Chattanooga native.
