Hi Justin, I have been a subscriber for about 6 months or so and appreciate the value you provide in all your videos. Between you and Dee Nimmin I find you guys to be the most value packed. I am 58 years old and totally blind and so much wanting to do a UA-cam channel and you have helped me get more motivated and I think I'm going to just jump in and do it. I'll let you know if I do, but I have to overcome the fear factor. I have lots of value I believe I could provide to both the blind and sighted community; so we'll see. Anyway, thank you again for your superb content. Cheers!
Great video thanku!! Just an update I got the RODE videoMic Me-L and they already make it for iPhone you don’t need extra cables just plug in to your iPhone and that’s it I love it ♥️♥️♥️♥️
The timing of this video could not have been more perfect for my requirements. I am looking for lights and microphones. This video exceeded my expectations, thank you so much!
I am confused Justin. If I am out and about the town recording video which microphone is best. I would be using the Zhiyun for stability due to walking and talking while shooting the video. Love your videos...TY Rebecca
Im looking to get a gimbal for my Samsung phone and wanted to know if I need a cold shoe or how would I attach a wireless mic transceiver to the gimbal?
NOICE ONE mate 👍🏻 I have RODE gear The Reporters kit 3 lavs, WirelessGo cordless system, 2 x VideoMic ME-L and now added the RODE VideoMic NTG awesome mics #RODE, plus the complete MOMET kit (everything they have I have). LUMECUBE LED panel and a DJI OSMO mobile 2 gimbal, all with my iPhone XS Max photography & filmmaking is so much fun! Take care WORLD
Oh and thanks for showing android compatible items. Q: I use a Otterbox Defender case on Note9 due to arthritis in hands. Any suggestions on which holders work best w this case on?
great video. I purchased the lapel mic and I used the adaptor for my iphone 10 and I am not hearing sound. I just purchased a lighting adapter to 3.5mm and there is still no sound. Do you have any suggestions of what accessory that I need?
I have been a fan of your videos for a while now but have to say, this is an amazing one! Such good tips for cheap(ish) gear to use. Thanks so much for all your time and effort that goes into making these videos! And to the people you're working with of course!!
This was thw Ultimate mobile filmmaking kit tutorial..u just covered everything man. This is the best video on mobile filmmaking kit..hands down. I suggest everyone to use these smatphone gears and software and share this video as this video is extrodinary. Hands down your best video man. i recommend this video to everyonecwho is shooting videos with your smartphone. Every detail is 100% accurate.
Your videos are so informative and to the point. Thanks. Question: Do you have a video on suggestions for a mic for using when recording or videotaping from my laptop?
I really appreciate your instructional videos. I'm an older vlogger, self taught, and trying to learn the ropes. Your videos provide a great resource. I want to use nothing other than my phone (Note 9) to create all my content. I love the simplicity of having my studio in my pocket. Thanks again :)
when i used to film myself electric skateboarding with a selfe stick and a samsung 360 camera i'd sometimes fall and the worse thing was the dual fisheye globe lens would have a visible scratch permanently in all future footage. now that i invested on a 512gb extreme micro sd card, 3 axis gimball, light cube, dual lavalier mics, and a full 4.5 foot collapsible tripod to drop all that crap while wiping out on a crowded beach walkway again.... will make quite a scene, its good to try it all and see how it changes my tastes and sensibility i suppose, class up the joint after lowbrowing it this long.
I just got the RODE wireless go for my workout videos, because I know how important good audio is in these types of videos... I absolutely love it!! Your video review on it was very helpful.
Hi Justin. Great video. I was also hoping to find out about extension arms for screw mount tripods/ I'm struggling to find an affordable one to buy. Thank you.
Oh wow. Just tried reflector 3, it's amazing. Can't believe it can make your PC act as a Chromecast receiver just like that. Thanks for the tip. Exactly what I was looking for
Do you think the note 10+ has good enough settings to where a camera app is not needed? And can you do a video on how to adjust the camera settings on it.
Great video. Have you tried the LiteChaser Pro system from PolarPro? Includes a phone holder that is a good grip & you can mount a mic or light on it. Also can buy Polariser & ND filters in various kits. Looks quite good but not cheap & you do have to use their camera case.
I’m not a UA-camr and I seldom do any video but I like to keep up with what’s going on with more creative people. That’s why I watch your videos every Sunday morning. Keep up the good work. 👍🏻
Thanks so much for the suggested Boya Mic, Justin. I needed to replace a fairly old Lavalier that I had before I started creating online coursework. This should set me up nicely!
Excellent presentation Justin, thank you. I noticed that your demonstration of the cold shoe mount with Aperture Light and Smartphone was with the phone in portrait mode. Is there enough room to rotate the phone to landscape mode with the Aperture Light mounted?
Great explanation, one question Please how to connect Zoomh1n handy recorder to an android smartphone to record audio and video together. Please suggest.
Hi Justin, great video. one question for you, or anyone else that may be able to help. i am unable to find filmic pro, or filmic remote on the play store. could this be because it's unavailable for my pone? (motorola g5), or am I missing something? is there another app you could recommend. thanks in advance, Pete.
Great video as always, as for the audio I use the Saramonic Blink 500 and you can get 2 transmitters and and a receiver for about $250 and it a great value if you do interviews or have guests and you get Lavs with them. Also use the Boya ByM1 lav mic. Also love the Zhyiun Smooth 4, great gimbal. Cheers!
You say 'a heap' In Jamaica we say 'a whole heap' Haha! And I love how you have a video for all of my concerns re youtube down to Filmora. You spoil me.
Once again, thank you so much for your videos! Theyre really helping me get a good start on my videos. Also the extension bar I ended up getting was the ChromLives Hot Shoe Extension Bar Mount since the one you have in your video wasnt on Amazon (unless I was looking for the wrong one). Keep teaching us newbies how its done and keep the content flowing!
Hi there! I’m about to start making tutorial videos in my kitchen, which is a little echoey, as it’s a large space with no soft furnishings to soak up the noise. I’ll be using my iPhone. How can I get the best audio, please?
Another great video! Would love to know if there is away to remote control an iPhone, so you can use filmic first light like filmic pro with the remote app, if that makes senses?
I use moment lenses, including anamorphic, and I can say they’re worth it. But if you’re not interested in using their proprietary case, a company called Sirui uses a similar bayonet style mounting clip that will work on _almost_ any smartphone. They run about $10 USD on the B&H website. This clip should work with all Moment lenses.
So glad to see a video with the Samsung phone. I still have a Galaxy 9 plus it works great for creating videos. I just got the Rode Wireless Go mic I love it will have a review on it soon on my channel. thank you for great informational videos!
I truly appreciate your videos. I feel as though I am late in the game coming into the world of UA-cam and a lot of the tech that needs to be included and you have provided a lot of insight. Thank you kindly for the PDFs provided. I am presently using a Samsung Galaxy Note 8. Do you think that this has decent enough video capabilities for recording?

Hi Justin! Thanks for the info, I went to Amazon using your link, the description for phones did not include a Samsung Galaxy 10
Those prices which you mention in your video, they are per month or one time payment?
I use moment lenses. Really big fan. They click into the case so are always lined up. No fiddling. The case is worth it in my opinion. Nice walnut ;)
