  • Just a short demo of how fast you can track a shot in Blender if you automate a few things...
    Feature Detection in Blender's MovieClipEditor has become a bit more useful for me. To make selecting all spiky tracks more automatic I have written a little script that will filter tracks by sudden changes in their speed (aka spikes). Thanks to Andreas Schuster for helping with math and python!

    Now we just need to bundle this in and we'll have something that doesn't require a 40 minute tutorial to get a scene tracked.
    It's nice how good Blender can be with very few points and bad footage but sometimes I have good footage and just want to press a few buttons and have a point cloud track like in any other tracking software.

    do not think the option filter tracks in my blender 2.72, what do I do?
