    wow thats handy enough, i thought the cylinder head had to come off.

      Luckily it doesn't, however to do this job properly on a car you want to run again you'll need some certain timing tools.

    very imporant to, you need when you thake te pump ou to be in PMH at the fly wheel , ther is a white nut in plastic under the starter , you will need that special tool , y hope you understand , you will need a computer to set at 770 rpm and 7 bars injection debit , because you can set the actuator to 750 rpm and 6 bar in injection debit , the car will work but not optimal

      Yes, I'm working on getting the nanocom to talk to the P38, the P38 has a lot of corroded wiring...

    Is it possible to take out the pump whiteout the LRT 12 119 tool ?

      Not that I know of, it will probably be possible with a puller but you will have to remove a lot of things before you can fit a puller anywhere useful..

    hy ! just for information ; y work on those pomp for 10years now , when those engines do not want to start or start very difficult when the are hot and stand still for 30min it is the starter , at cold the calculator inject more fuel and the glow plugs working to, so the starter do not need to give much power , the starter works they say but after 20 yers there are very tired, a new one is much stronger when they launch

      For me it is the injection pump that isn't set properly, I have to trace the wiring for the OBD2 plug so I can plug in my nanocom and set the fuelling correctly.
      But yeah, 320.000km and 24 years old the starter might need some love as well!

      Do you know how to set one I have rebuilt head and and I can start it but have to keep revs on it will cut out as soon as you take revs off there's no idea?? Any help appreciated

      Hi! I will start working on it again this winter. You can loosen the four bolts holding the top of the injector pump to the bottom and adjust the fuel injection by adjusting the position of the top in relation to the bottom.

      @@johnshields7519 with delphi 150 you can adjust the injection, 770rpm and the injection value is 7 !
