😂.. You are a monster man! You inspire me to get better everyday! You are arguably the best drummer here on UA-cam 🤷♂️. Thank you so much for commenting!🤘🏻
You know he's REALLY good when he changes clothes, starts the shot again, and YOU LITERALLY CANNOT TELL because his ENTIRE posture - from how he's sitting to where his legs are placed to even the ANGLE of his hands and sticks - is identical!
Props to you for giving the drummer his due. We should all strive to be better, take your passion as far as you can and DAM PROUD of it. Stay safe everyone!!
Bro, this video was just as special because we now know your story and what makes you an inspiration to so many of us. Even when you were down on your luck, you didn't quit and came up on top like a mofo champion. Much respect and good fortune hombre!
Colby, I'll tell you how good he is. I love music, I got my first transistor radio in 1960 at age ten, it became as much a part of me as many people are with their cell phones. I'm 73 and still find new bands to love every year. But I have never really thought much about drummers, drumming, and what they do. Ringo was not my Beatle! The UA-cam algorithm brought El Estepario Siberiano to my (I like him so much that I did not need to look up how to spell his name) attention. I was stunned by his ease and relaxed demeanor while playing drums like it's nothing , just something he's doing, while his hands move faster than lightning. The speed, precision and complexity of his drumming is awe-inspiring. After the first video I subscribed. Now I'm watching you as a fellow drummer to hear your commentary. I just wondered if my impression of him is shared by people who actually know what he is doing. Who can explain technique, break down how he holds his sticks, talk about his setup, and confirm that my perception of his talent is shared. You and other drummers have brought me to a new world, and renewed my enthusiasm. That is a wonderful gift!
I love your story mate. Your an inspirations and your fucking realism is of the chart. Keep showing us all what determination looks, sounds and plays like. From one percussionist to another. You rock, in all ways. True respect true respect. Peace
In the entire video, I don’t think there was a single note that wasn’t perfect. He another level. I remember the first time watching him play I thought, I don’t think he can read music. Well, more so, he doesn’t need to read music. You can see that he feels it. He listens to it and you can almost watch his brain convert it, and then he just knows it. He’s amazing to watch. I could go on for days about how good he really is.
It’s so great as a passive fan to have guys who know the drums go bro your not crazy he’s pretty elite and few can put it all together like him! His jokes, creativity, and fricken power and speed seem pretty elite
Ok I can’t either but I CAN play like him lol, how I work out his stuff is slow the vid down to 0.75 and learn and play along and then play along at full speed. All this by just listening and takes me about three tries for full speed
that's insane. Wish i had that sort of talent, i dont play the drums, but its always been one of my favorite instruments to listen to, that and the piano.
He would insist that it isn't talent and there is no such thing. He is very encouraging towards "practice makes perfect". In one of his vids he showed what his playing was like when he was younger and was calling it crap and saying it was when he only practice 1 hour a day😂. His younger self played better than people 2x his age lol. He is so good because his job, hobby and life are drums.

Yes, he thinks outside the box, then actually puts in all the hours necessary to pull off his ideas seamlessly. In alucard's words, he's "interesting, fun and musical" because he's always exploring & questioning what everyone else does. The ones who stand out have all done that to a degree. Dave Lombardo, Tomas Haake, Neil Peart, Steve Gadd, Tony Williams, and nowadays, Nate Smith. Musicians like Estepario are once a decade or even generation...I hope his business savvy and luck last long enough for him to establish an international performance career.
Man I could spend all day every day for the rest of my life playing the drums and never get close to this guys talent….. soo sooo good. Thanks for the great video buddy hope you have a great day 😊
What amazes me most about him is the fact he's hardly moving. He can be playing all out with crazy movements, blazing speed, and Penn and teller level stick tricks, but he uses so very little movement to perform the actual drum parts
@@cliffoplaysdrums yes. Even though he did not say this outright, I think other aspects of his life were growing too fast and he could not pay attention to it because of the band commitments. We should be expecting a lot more content from him now going forward.

I’ve heard him say it took over 50:attempts to play one song the way he thought was up to his standards.
He said in an interview that he plays drums eight hours a day.
El Estepario Siberiano is the GOAT, hands down. never seen a drummer this great. and I've seen a lot of great drummers.
