@@JohnG_YTcheck out the original safri duo the bongo song that he did. Both are really good, but the solo he does in the first one, along with the stick tricks is unbelievable, in my opinion

Not a fan of the weekend at all but his cover of "Blinding Lights" gave the song a whole new feel thru percussion and thats pretty damn impressive in my eyes.

Just curious, when did a single handed roll start being called a gravity blast? We did single hand rolls in marching drumline and DCI but I don't recall it being called gravity blast 10 years ago.

The only songs from AAL that i would instantly recongise are CAFO and The Brain Dance, but i do know them. I'm a big Periphery fan and Tosin has done a lot of work with Misha Mansoor on their records. And Garstka is unreal!
It's his double/triple pedals that make it sound like he is playing fast.

Hey. Take a look at a drummer called Lord Marco with a blindfolded video playing a death metal song! Crazy!!!!
You can get into Aerodrums. It’s two electric drumsticks and two foot pedals. It needs hardly any space and can be packed for transport in minutes.
Sounds interesting, but i would most likely miss the physical rebound A LOT.

He's 26. Records everything on a Yamaha EAD-10. Plays in a band called Saratoga (they're like the scorpions of Spain). His best video is his single pedal cover of the enemy inside by Dream Theater, and if you want to see drummers that are actually above his level, watch Alex Rudinger play Xenochrist, or Aric Improta play blur lights in the Videodrome.
Also, he says talent is a lie and attributes his skills to ENDLESS practice, 8 hours a day minimum when he "decided to take drums seriously" at 19.
8 hours a day is insane, damn. I wouldn't say that talent is a lie, but you don't get this good by playing AC/DC (no disrespect to them) 15 minutes a week, lol! Thanks for all the cool info! :)

Many don't like the word "GENIUS", well I'm sorry for many, but this guy is a "GENIUS".
I have been studying music since I was 7 years old, and never in my student or work life have I seen anyone play like that, I have seen exceptional percussionists, I have seen incredible ones but this man is a "DEMON" playing the drums, literally.
The great violinist Nathan Milstein once said, "Either you can play it, or you can't play it," as simple as that.
El Estepario is an ABSOLUTE GENIUS, and in his immense modesty he encourages us that it is possible, but it is a lie.
Understand that for that genius it is normal, and what we see seems impossible to us, for him it is normal.
We are facing a phenomenon of nature, a Failure in the Matrix.
For me he is the best in the world.
But that is my modest opinion.

Yeah, did figure out the 420 thing after i finished recording. I respect it (tried it myself in the past). I HAVE seen videos popping up on my recommended in the last 2 + - months, but i was like "I need to make a video on him for sure". I wanted to record my first time reaction without being spoiled :D

I wonder why people leave useless bitter comments on the internet, while they could use that energy somewhere else? I almost want to DM the man himself this video to see, if he is okay with other people reacting and commenting on his content. If he had a problem with other people covering/commenting on his videos, he would have already done something about it.
Bands that have put tons of hard work into their music, are absolutely fine with these types of videos and even encourage people to make them. Labels themselves sometimes ask me to make a video for certain bands. And they even offer to take down any copyright claims that these videos get, so the labels themselves help reactions channels make money.
If El Estepario Siberiano wants me to take this video down, i will. I hope you share all your YT profits with the fishes that you caugh in your videos.
