funfact!: Either way is accurate to the cartoon with the eyes, becaaaauuuseee, when the dinobots were first introdouced to the show, they had red eyes (well atleast grimlock... never really payed attention to the others sorry, me only hail to king grimlock), but as grimlock got ""tamed"" and as he learned to respect optimus, even though he never respected optimus even after he "Evolved", anyway, basically when he learned to be "nice", his eyes turned blue. However I will display him with red eyes when I get him because I like Grimlock being a jerk 😄

sorry to be the one to say this but the forearms collapse a bit to shorten them in robot mode. looks a bit more natural.

The robot mode of this is great but the dino head of MP-08 is spot on and my only complaint is BIGGER. I want a Grimlock that really towers over MP-10!!!
I have a Gigapower Superator- he towers over all my other MP figures...

Nice review. Just FYI, in robot mode his arms (from the elbow) collapse into his forearms a little bit to make the whole arm proportion to his body. :)

For those who are confused as to why Grimlock's legs look the way they do, it's because real Tyrannosauruses had three jointed legs
That skit at the end was priceless.i spat out my soda laughing at the part were Optimus said grimlock got that crown in his size somehow from Burger King

Good review but I wanted to see it next to Gcreations Wrath. I know he's bigger but I wanted to see the difference is asstetics. Would have loved to see him vs. the KO/OS Masterpiece Grimlock.

This figure is almost literally a G1 version that is bigger and more articulated, somewhat sleeker in Dino mode...including the huge distance between the head and the edge of the chest.

This looks better to original version little more articulation and properly sized in bot and Dino modes
19:53 I doubt that will be tweaked. I have 3 FT Dinobots so far (2 arrived today!). None of them can hold their weapons well.
FT is my favorite Transformers toy company, but this is their one big flaw.

you know it's a true fan when spit out word for word lines from the movie and G1 series. iv had the movie on tape and collectors edition set since day 1 release.
... Or if you want your masterpiece grimlock bigger and bulkier, while you're on budget and you're totally fine with the original mold, you can get the reximus prime... lol

Where is the Grinder looking like Grimlock? The head and face are completely different and maybe a maximum of 50% resemblance to how he looks in the series.
Grinder is a robot TRex but no Grimlock

I have Superator and think he's great! He's a bit bigger than my other MP, but I think it's accurate to how he was portrayed in a lot of the cartoon.

I have all the Fanstoys dibots in regular and x versions. I would probably pass on this and just use the oversized KO grimlock. BUT then I just have to have those faces!!!
Shane Myler the KO Grimlock Imo looks decent. Had the same problem as Takara. The arms are to big vs FT arms are more proportion to the body

I never messed with the gigapower dinos so I can't answer that. sorry. all I can say is go with whatever set you like best.
