A lot of people tend to hate this generation of the Ford Taurus because of how curvy it looked; but it really set the trend of bold and curvaceous exterior styling on vehicles in the late 90's, a much needed change from the dull and drab boxy exterior styling seen on vehicles in the early to mid 90's.
@@michaelblankenau6598Awesome! My three favorite cars from 1997 are the Ford Taurus, Honda Accord, and the Toyota Camry. All of them are good and shine in their own unique way. For example; the Ford Taurus during this time period paved the way for other car companies to try bold and boundary pushing curvaceous exterior styling instead of sticking with the usual dull and drab boxy exterior styling seen in the early to mid 1990's. Meanwhile; the Honda Accord continued to ride on the success it had with the introduction of the V-TEC engine and the Toyota Camry became the best selling car in America; a title which it has held ever since.
This Taurus was my favorite generation

I bought my 97 Taurus four years ago for $ 1500... Still runs great and has less than 120k miles on it .
