no, using stealth or bandanna will lock out the big boss ranks for that playthrough. At the end of act screen, at the bottom of the list it will say special items used. It needs to be empty to get the emblem
Ironically the only emblem I had trouble with in this entire game was the Chicken emblem. Getting 35+ hours in one playthrough is really annoying when you’re not a patient person

where can i spam the bear requirements? you have to kill 100 huys and idk where to do that. downtown opens me up to a lot of alerts or should i just do bear on a run where i need more than 75 alerts or whatever? and i need ant, bear, and gibbon. also, for ant and gibbon, can i take one guy hold him up, search him, go invisible, hold him up again, search him again, over and over to spam it?

I got them all with "Bear" so I'm not sure, but logically thinking it doesn't matter whom you hold up; they have the same faces, and there he didn't say "Hold up 50 guys", it says "50 hold-ups" so... Same for the bear. I got "Bear" with "Pigeon"; you don't need to kill anyone. Just do it on easy with stealth camo and bandana, bandana and VSS in act1 is my wasy to get 500 kills for "Chicken". (Seriously, what was Kojima thinking? Snake's a legendary soldier, and he must get "Chicken" emblem along with "Big Boss" one what proves he really enjoys all the killing LOL)
it's easier in act 1 when you 1st see the militia, let them see you and fight with them, when you've done something good like a headshot they'll compliment you. Help them take over the 1st area by destroying the 2 stykers. When you walk infront of a rebel and hearts appear over their head and they talk to you, that's praise. If you've helped take over the 1st area, the rebel base will have loads of people to praise you. If you want to be certain you can give healing items to 25 people

yes that will be fine, just be careful of the ranks at the end, which require certain amounts of deaths/kills/continues, as too much of one can give you a different rank

Another way of obtaining it, is by tranqing enemies, when the rebels can see you. They'll compliment you, also this is easy in places where there's infinite enemies, like outside advent palace in act 1
@hero...hey hero i'd unlock my bbe a couple of hrs ago thinking that i was gonna unlock my final 2 emblems including big boss and naked snake ipod songs...but in my final results i didnt get little grey emblem...do i have to do another playthrough to unlock little gray emblem...i just need that emblem for sounds of the battlefield n plat trophy :)...tnx in advance
to get the trophy of all songs on the ipod it is necessary to finish the game on big boss extreme or just get the songs and at the end of the game appears the trophy .. obtained with the music has to be a rebel in act 1 may be the same or ACT2 good video thank you guys put much help.

I'm on my 5th playthrough and i still have 9 emblems to complete(assasin,ant,gibbon,tarantula,centipede,spider,jaguar,panther,leopard)..Should I start it all over or can I still get them ?(I'm asking because i've read that all the emblems should be taken in only 8 playthroughs).
managed to collect almost all the songs just missed MSG love theme, from that show in your video, more so a doubt has to do all the ranks and make the game on big boss extreme to get the big boss:; snake eater to do all the emblems . or not accurate

I understand some people who asks does stunning 1 gut multiple times, still, kinda dumb:for example, to get Assasin you need 50 knife kills/stuns. EVERY time I wake him up I make a new stun. Good that MGS isn't realistic enough (one most realistic 1 though, even in MGS1 you can find something you'd never find in NOT a Hideo Kojima game) so the soldiers die from many punches/knife stuns.

Did you roll forward? For this emblem you have to perform 100 sideway rolls, he confused Scarab with Frog

unlocking all emblems takes at least 8 playthrroughs, if you want you can miss a emblem and make it longer

Getting the big boss emblem also unlocks the special emblems below it. ( foxhound, FOX, etc.)

yes, once you get the last emblem you'll get the snake eater song and get the trophy

yes, if u unlock the requirements for multiple emblems you will unlock them all
I've rolled at least over 150 times but it wont give me the emblem, what am I doing wrong? over 100 FORWARD rolls, right?

Leave PS3 on for 35 hours, that's the easy way :D

He confused Scarab with Frog. To get Scarab you have to do the side-roll not the front rolls.
