Also while vehicle was jacked up, you can place the other tyre beneath the vehicle near you jacking area to prevent damages in case of any mishappenings (Extra precaution) .. Good tyre and Flattened tyre vice versa.. Also once tightened after jacked down, move vehicle few inches and u can again make jam tight..

When using the removed tire, does that help prevent the car from rolling away ? And if so, is it necessary to use the emergency brake

@@mikej2133 you should use parking brakes and parking the car in first gear during tyre change that would hold the car firmly.. Placing extra tyre underneath the jacking area would protect the car in case of mishappenings with the jack..

I have one doubt and I am CONFUSED among the following and whether to buy CELERIO ZXI OPTIONAL, or IGNIS SIGMA, OR SWIFT Base model. We are 2 persons only, and 2 or 3 times in a year go for long trips, say 1000 to 2000 kms and in cities below 500 kms. Per month. All together 10, 000 kms. Per year. More over it is 1st car which I am going to buy. Based on your experience, what is your advice. Which car you will suggest., in terms of mileage, performance and low maintenance.,easily available service and spares.

Hi Chinni , thanks for your comments. I am not the best person to help you with this answer, I feel i know very minimal when it comes to cars technical specs. So just from what i know choose between IGNIS and Swift, they come with a more appealing design and are 1.2 CC engine. Maruti has a very good after sale service and are widely present. Also get your car serviced or buy parts from Maruti service centers, you will get the right price for them. My Celerio has been an awesome ride, it will be 3 years in November and i have done 31K KM .. just as you plan i have done like 2-3 trips each year and drive to work and also had like 2-3 ppl most times :) As celeior is 998 cc engine in highways or uphill drive I have wished for a more powerful engine. So yeah go for Ignis or Swift for a more modern stylish design and better engine, i have heard the space inside celerio and ignis is about the same.

don't undo the nuts completely, only loosen, until you have it raised or at least the jack under it. Great video though sent it to a friend to help them today
