    Thanks for the plaudits. We still need help with spreading the word. Fished a lake recently and as a survey not ONE angler had heard about us. They were furious that the angling press never gave us coverage so they could know what we did, and couldn't believe our "Awesome Army" following of huge numbers. One guy started watching our shows on his phone and missed 3 bites ! He was so happy to have found them, so keep spreading the word.

      If you forget to yoink the ground bait out of the fridge have no worries I got you covered ( slap it in a bucket of water in a bout 1-2 hours should be g2g ) We used to use this when we run out of non frozen food in the restaurant if it works for chicken meat trust me it works for ground bait :) . If you can heat up the water that'd be even better :)

    Funniest thing about these videos is the thought of Graeme’s wife sipping a cuppa as she watches out the kitchen window thinking ‘what the hell’s he doing now!’
    Keep up the good work, I’ve been binge watching for ages.

      Can I take this opportunity to apologise as to my previous comment on this video, let me explain, I have only a few weeks ago taken up fishing as now retired, I went and got myself kitted out, ok home I came and took to UA-cam to learn, the first video I came across was this one, I thought my god whats this bloke all about (hence my comment) my god, I am now addicted to his awesome fantastic videos to the point I now search for them, Greame is an inspiration to the sport and I have learnt so much in such a short space of time watching his videos. Graeme THANK YOU SO MUCH and please please please do except my apologies?? I am local to you as well (Epsom) so may at some point bump into you.
      Thank you again Graeme
      Regards
      Ray

      p2g1949 thats only applicable when teaching something uninteresting, nobody is here because they arent into fishing.. which is why we dont need to see all the other unfunny nonsense. Its not entertaining its tedious.

    He might seam like a crazy old man, but hes right, and an awesome fisherman, years of experience. Nice to see he hasn't lost is "mood". I been using bread for base ground bait with catle feed and chicken rations for years too. You can use "powder" corn, cereals, so much stuff honestly.

    The first groundbait I ever bought as a kid in the eary 1960s was a product called Spratts silvercloud. It came in a small hessian sack if I remember. You used to soak the whole sack in water and then squeeze most of the water out and it was then ready to use. Anyone else old enough to remember it?

    • @philgale1752
      @philgale1752 7 місяців тому

      Any fine mesh bag would work . Allows easy soaking and contains the bread as you knead and squash as much as you want whilst capturing the yeasty water to add to your final mix of ground bait so nothing wasted , nice cloud affect too .

    what a great guy, hes got more energy then a young lad. he so is a young lad at heart. i fish crum alot with a additive. for bream carp tench even down to small winter roach when match fishing is hard. was a great video and what a pleasure to see a guy having so much fun. top respect to him. as far as TV goes this guy needs his own channel. my dad was watching also and we was both giggeling, not at him but with him. the video was a pleasure and his advise is alot better then what some might think. very smart guy and all could learn alot and save money and get a better catch. it this video theres more then just a ground bait tip. free baits were to buy, etc etc. good luck on all your ideos. ive noticed your useing peas and ptatoes in other videos and they also work. Potatoes are a great bait for carp along with baked beans chick peas and alot of things anglers may not try but rearly work and gives a great edge on other anglers plus saving you alot of money. God bless you mate your a great guy

    Hi Graeme, I use the very cheapest bags of dry dogfood soaked overnight and wizzed up into a soup with one of those electric wizzy things. Add some bran, flour and old bread, mix well and leave for a few hours. The fish go bonkers for it and the dog food contains high protein which is a sure draw for carp. Mind you I do live in France where the fish have very good taste in food.

    The Porridge Oats is just a sort of binding agent. On its own its gluey. You don't need much. The important thing is to get a small handful in every other trot down with the float. Bigger fish like chub will start mopping it up. I have to be honest I use it more in the winter when the flow is starting to pick up.
