    Thanks for showing this Den I've just got myself a blender especially to make bread crumb and you've shown how to make it perfectly.

      One thing I've learned Andrew is that there are many ways to do things. Some of the things I do are not what the mainstream would advocate, but if I feel it works better and catches me plenty of fish, then that's what I do. The same goes for you mate. If something works for you, then go for it. :)

    Great idea!Would you recomand this for method feeder fishing?I was liqudising fresh bread for method and it was top for winter,but ofcourse this would be way cheaper...

      To be honest, I haven't tried it Boris. I recommend you go out and give a a couple of tries. That way you should be able to gauge it's effectiveness compared to normal liquidised bread.

    If you are going to dry out the bread for a few days, put it in a bag and roller it, then put it in the liquidiser, then mix it with water, sieve out the lumps, re-add some water... what benefit does this give over missing out the initial 80% of the process and just putting bread in the liquidiser? You end up with the correct dampness for cupping dry stuff for bread punch fishing, give in a squeeze and you have a groundbait that sinks to the bottom and breaks up, no mixing water , no secondary post mix sieving.

    Great money saving video,I will try this soon.Does adding some sweetcorn or dead maggot affect the balls of crumb or is it ok to do so?

    Great Vid. I often see big match anglers state that the household water will taint the bait? Then bang on about putting in flavoured oils etc. It will be diluted in the water at some point anyway? If fish are feeding/biting I am sure they do not care that much.

      I agree Phillip. I have never worried too much about using tap water. I catch plenty of fish and I'm happy with my results.

      I'm afraid I've never tried that Dave. It can't hurt if you set one up at home and dunk it into a bowl of water to see how it works.

    Hi Den,do you think using tap water in pre made groundbait makes any difference,eg,puts the fish off?

    • @FishingwithDen
      @FishingwithDen  2 роки тому

      Hi Stan. I use tap water for all my groundbait and paste mixes. I seem to catch plenty of fish, so for me, it isn't an issue. If I wasn't catching as much, or more than other anglers in matches I might have thought twice, but my results indicate that tap water makes no difference. Of course, other anglers will say it does, but I can only go by my own results.

      Hi Martin. I'm originally from the Midlands. I spent 14 years in the Army followed by owning a CCTV business. My wife and I retired in 2015 and moved to Australia. We currently live near Newcastle in New South Wales. I hope that helps.
