- In this video I show How to Change your Lineart brush without redrawing in Clip Studio Paint. This is an awesome tip for Clip Studio Paint for changing your lineart brush after you've painted the line art or to change the lineart brush at any time without having to redraw your lineart. I go one step further to also show how to get extra preset brushes into your objects tools so you can change to any brush! It's really straight forward once you know how to do it in your brush settings! Hope this helps!

Question of the day: Did you know this was possible or did you already know this tip?!
I did not know this was possible
Thank you so much for this
@@creation9224 no problem!
I knew how to change the line thickness using vector layers, but I did not know how to change the pens. Thanks for sharing!
No problem!!
your vids have completely changed the game for me using clip studio
Love to hear it!
Oh my god, my life is changed 😳
I've been wondering how to do this, but I couldn't seem to get my search terms right to find good instructions. I thought maybe there wasn't a way. THANK YOU!!! 💜💜💜
No problem! I did the same originally, tried to find the answer, couldn't find it and was then determined to figure it out for myself, and here we are!!!
Very useful for trying to figure out which brush suits my art style
No problem!😊
You're an angel thank you.
You are so welcome
Dude I have never felt so confident in my art. Thank you so much. ❤

Solved my problem beautifully. Thank you!

Hi Shyfoxx! Your tutorials have helped me the most. Especially the Draw Along With Me ones. They really helped me understand where to put layers and folders; also clipping and merging. Do you have more of these on your patreon? Also do you have an explanation of the Remove Dust sub tool in the Correct Line tool?
the one time i didnt use a vector layer, im hearbroken! well, at least i didnt get far. good to know for next time!!! great tutorial!!
It happens to all of us! Definitely done it a time or two.
Ahhh...I knew this was possible. I don't use Clip Studio, but I started wondering "hey, what if I just draw out a crummy pencil drawing...do some mechanical vector line "inking"...but then change my line brush to something with a little more style. This is exactly what I was imagining. I think in Blender, you can add randomness to it, also, for the pen radius, pressure, jitter...all sorts of stuff. Anyway...cool beans.
A great feature for sure!
oh wow thank u!
No problem!
Thanks 🙏
No problem!
Thank u ❤
No problem!
I love your tutorials! Currently learning anime-styled digital art, just wondering if it’s possible if you can make a tutorial for anime hair styles and coloring? It’s my current struggle right now, I followed your eyes tutorial and absolutely loved it! Thank you!
Thanks so much! I'll make a note it was requested!! Appreciate it. I can't promise if and when I'll get to it but I always appreciate video suggestions! Thanks you!
@@Shyfoxx Thank you very much for considering it! Always appreciate your tutorials, they are really clear and easy to follow. Thank you again and I love your artworks!
That means a lot. Thank you for all your kind words!!
could you do a video on the ideal resolutions for printing vs posting?
I definitely want to. But to answer your question simply, use 90 DPI for internet use and 300 DPI for print. Hope this helps!
@@Shyfoxx thanks!
i do like how easyy it is to do this with csp🙂
I tried this trick and it worked for me, but there is a problem. When I select the G Pen brush, the line looks pixelated. Even without enlarging the image to 100%, it looks like a pixel art drawing. Do you know if there is a way to fix this problem?
Are you drawing on a really small canvas or low resolution canvas? That's the only reason I can think of that you'd see pixels.
I drew my lineart already but on a normal layer can i somehow change it to a velcro?
Unfortunately, you can't. 😢
help..my brush shape and size won't come out, it's locked and turn all grey. why?
Perhaps you're not using a vector layer? Is the layer locked?
How do I select just a single line and change its color?
You can click the single line with the object tool. 👍
So this is kinda unrelated but I found this video when I tried to search up my question, so I figured I'd ask someone directly
Does anyone know if it's possible to set all burshes to be the same size when flipping between them? Like if I'm drawing with my pencil and swtich to my eraser, or when swtiching between two different types of pen brushes, then they'll all remain at the same size instead of having their individual sizes? (I.e pen 1 has size 25 while pen 2 has size 10)
I definitely understand your question and as far as I know, this isn't possible. Never seen it done and never seen a feature for it. I can see why it would be useful! I've gotten used to adjusting per brush anyway.
That said, it could still be possible, I just don't know anything about how to do this. All I can recommend is hot keys for changing brush sizes when switching a brush to be quicker.
