I had all the ingredients and looked at a few recipes and decided to make yours with the American cheese. I also put a egg baste on the top crust and sprinkled Italian seasoning and grated Parmesan cheese on top. I put a lot of pepperoni and used Italian seasoning and also hot pepper flakes before I rolled it. It came out of the oven golden and the slits in the top were bubbling up. I let it rest for 15 min before slicing it. I couldn't tell my husband that there was American cheese in it because he doesn't like it. He came to the kitchen and cut the first piece at the end, and it was stuffed full right to the end. Ten minutes later he yelled to me "This is so gooey that I think I might die eating it". It was DELICIOUS and it's more than a pepperoni bread, it's a memory!
Hey, don't ever apologize for trying your own food. We love that you love your recipes so much you can't help yourself! It makes us wanna try it even more!
Laura!!!! What a PERFECT recipe! I tried this out the other day and could not describe this any other way than as PERFECTION, it's simply delicious! Thank you so much for sharing this recipe, just another one to add to my favorites...
I followed your instructions as I watched the video! You are so good at instructing and making us all feel like "we got this"! It turned out perfectly and simply amazing!!! Love your recipes!!!
I started watching your videos a few days ago. and by far you are the best... I love all your plates and just yesterday i tried one of the recipe and my husband loved it..
Hi, Laura, this is a great recipe! I tried it and of course I loved it. There was one thing that I did differently the second time around than you did on here and it sent the taste over the top! I finished the bread off with the garlic and olive oil spread sprinkled with rosemary that you did with your focaccia rolls recipe....mmmm MMMM!
Working for your food! way to put it. LAURA--I finally did it. After many many weeks of watching your videos today I subscribed to your channel. Not gonna lie, I watch youtube on the daily and have always ignored 'liking' or 'subscribing' to anyone or anything. But I find myself infatuated with you accent and cooking abilities. I like to show off for my husband using your recipes and i LOVE how easy you put it for all of us.Love ya....J
I sure do miss working with Wheat Based Dough since having to go on a Gluten Free Diet.,,, I was so happy when I figured out how to make a Gluten Free Pepperoni Bread... will have to try it with American Cheese!! I always enjoy your cooking videos!!
This recipe should come with a warning! I can't stop eating it. OMG! It's SOOO delicious. I brushed whisked egg on the dough before adding the first cheese to keep it soft, and on top before putting it into the oven. Mmmm. Do you have a recipe for sausage bread too?
Hey laura I was just in my local supermarket and this woman started asking me about ingredients she needed for a new recipe she is making. I began to help her and talking to her, guess whose cake recipe she was making "LITK". LOL. We talked for about 10 min about our favorite cooking show. We both love your way of teaching and cooking. We shared recipes we have tried and how delicious they were....sending you thanks from FL...
She actually started Laura in the Kitchen because she wanted to publish a cookbook, but Joe said that no one knows you, who will buy it? So she started this to gain recognition. She will probably make one soon..hopefully :)
My daughter makes a version of this using French bread loaf in the canned biscuit section of the supermarket. Sometimes she puts the sauce inside the roll with the pepperoni and mozzarella, but other times she just uses the sauce for dipping. Either way it's excellent. Add your own favorite pizza toppings to the filling.
It's 5 a.m. here in California and that looks SO good that if I had pepperoni I'd go out to the kitchen and make that right now!!! Thank you for another wonderful recipe!!
This will be a perfect snack for my daughter, can't wait to try it. Can I cut this into two log and freeze the other? if so for how long i can freeze? Thanks
When I make pepperoni bread, I do an egg wash on top and sprinkle it with Italian seasoning and a little parmesan cheese. It gives it such a wonderful flavor!
I'm Irish/English/Scandinavian, brought up 100% Italian from the age of 5 in Newark NJ, lived in Lyndhurst NJ, which was 85% Italian! Did Ancestry, to find out I'm 10% Italian! Never, ever, thought I had ANY Italian in me! Who knew! Your recipes are great and easy, love them, as I love to do all the cooking, and it's always Italian....My Mother in Law, Lillian Senatore, age 92, says my gravy is the best she's ever had! Loved hearing that! So, can you go through 'Italia' and show us the types of Gravy (Sauce!) that can be made? With mushrooms, olives, peppers, etc? Chicken, Braciolle? And meatballs! I need to know how to make meatballs using Veal, Beef and Pork, I need to do this!!!!......Thanks for your shows, and keep up the great work!.....Mangia!
Laura, can you please show us how to make your pizza seasoning!!!!!! I tried a store bought one, lets just say it was not good at all. So please make a video on how you make your.
i have been making this using my homemade dough and homemade marinara on the side...I can't stop!!! Help!!! lol it really is simple, and delicious, very addictive!!!
Why do I always watch Laura in the Kitchen at night when I'm starving? You make me so hungry ad jealous Laura! Ps: You and Joe must adopt me. When you do I will have Nutella for you.
My mother makes her pizza bread with cream cheese, pepperoni and olives. It sounds weird but it's delicious! Give it a try! You just take pizza bread, spread the cream cheese on it, sprinkle the chopped black olives and chopped pepperoni on it, roll it up and bake it. It's so yummy. :)
Hey Laura so i LOVE your recipes and have come up with a list of recipes I would reaaalllyyy LOVE to see you make :D summer roll recipe pina colada peach bellini frozen yogurt fried bananas chow mien Maple salmon savory waffles sriracha recipes

Found your page a couple of months ago and really appreciate it. Would love for you to go ahead and do a vid on the pizza spices. Thanks again and take care.
I just made this and it is super yummy, i would use a little less american cheese because if you put too much (which I did) it can overpower the dish. My family really enjoyed it though :)
Yummm :)) good job Laura! Please share your pizza seasoning!! I always make my own spice mix. I have a killer homemade steak seasoning, old bay seasoning, italian seasoning etc! Loovee that xox
Yes, of course you can. Depending on what you want to add you might want to cook the toppings beforehand and then add them inside the bread. I don't think adding onions raw, for example, would be very good because they would kind of steam and come out soggy rather than caramelized. As Laura would say, "the world is your pickle!" Do whatever you want with your pizza bread :)

Hi laura
I have been requesting you for you so long please show us how to make homemade mashmallows
great recipe .. i think i'm gonna make it with puff pastry quick and easy
This looks awesome I may to make this one question could you put different toppings on this like pizza ?
Yes, of course you can. Depending on what you want to add you might want to cook the toppings beforehand and then add them inside the bread. I don't think adding onions raw, for example, would be very good because they would kind of steam and come out soggy rather than caramelized. As Laura would say, "the world is your pickle!" Do whatever you want with your pizza bread :)
I like al
l Ur cooking very nice laura tq. mwahhhh
You should do a spice episode, show us all of your premade spice mixtures
