I love to watch your videos Denis you are so organised and methodical in during your preparations of cooking 👍 And may I say those loaves look glorious 🇿🇦👌
I made this last week with my own bread recipe. I ground up the pepperoni in my kitchen aid grinder attachment and used grated cheese. It resulted in a much more even meat/cheese ratio through out the whole loaf. I toasted it under the broiler with olive oil and garlic powder and served with olive oil on the side for dipping. it was wonderful
Thanks for commenting on that. My grandmother was from Naples, Italy and that's how she cut pepperoni for her bread. I'm pleased you appreciate it. -Dennis
@@MobileHomeGourmet ...oh I do, whenever I make one for someone else, I make a point about telling them how to prepare the pepperoni... Prep the pep heh heh.
Love your videos! I made the mistake of not weighing my flour when making pasta for the first time last night (inspired by your spinach pesto video!). I'm going to start looking for recipes with the grams listed to make baking easier.
Dennis that is a great idea and L@@Ks delicious. I think I would use a garlic butter spread when toasted slice bread. I was wondering could I use shredded cheese instead of chunk. I can't get stick pepperoni here just sliced unfortunately. So I thought I would try the other method that you mentioned, like a jelly roll. So I thought maybe use shredded cheese for that method.
Hi Mark. The garlic butter would be perfect. You could use shredded cheese. I used chunks because my grandmother did. Another touch would be to sprinkle the top with a little shredded mozzarella before baking. I want to try that when I experiment with the jelly roll method.-Dennis
Mark Neff You and I think in different directions, but we come up with great ideas. You're thinking mozzarella cheese on the slices with the garlic butter before toasting under the broiler. I hadn't thought of that, but it sounds delicious! I was thinking shredded mozzarella on top of the raw loaves before they go into the oven for baking. LOL. I like the way we think, Mark.-Dennis

Dennis thanks for this recipes, I love all your video's but most of all your bread skills
You're the first person beside myself who chops up the pepperoni and doesn't slice it thin. 👍

whitetrashcookingcom Yes mozzarella cheese on the top would be perfect with the garlic butter, thanks for reminding me about that.

My sister would make something similar using the dough from a boxed pizza making kit. Probably not as tasty as your rendition, but it wasn't bad.
Looked so good. It made me hungry!
No ,it’s better!!😂😂😂
thanks i bet this was good yum
Dennis, can you tell me what brand of mozzarella cheese and pepperoni you used?
Thank you.
