You've gotten me into fixing switches now! Before this I had only repaired an xbox one S and some Game Gears but in the last month I've bought 23 switches. 14 of them broken and managed to fix every one! I feel I've been incredibly lucky! Although 1 of them had had a prior repair attempt and every pad under the charging port was ripped off. That was hard work :/

Should also include the price of the donor parts. Those didnt just materialize out of thin air.
I think they are the minus ones in the spreadsheet so the unfixable ones that he doesn't sell still cost him and that's what the donor parts come off
Yeah the donor parts will have come from unrepairable products from in the past, which would have been a full minus in the spreadsheet anyways, therefore the parts taken have already been accounted for.
I get it. I also have a pile of donors and it's hard to quantify the value. As a buisiness this makes sense. But for individuals who would need to source the parts themselves this hides the cost.
For instance the fuse didn't need to come from a donor board but many viewers probably don't know what to look for or where to buy them.
